Re: "...you are just reusing footage..."
If you see a "hack" repeated it's because we thought it was good enough to list again, that is typically very rare of us to do and we'll refilm the segment 99% of the time... I don't like reusing footage.
Some that stick out in my mind are peeling garlic by shaking it in a bowl and unclogging a drain with vinegar. Two quite AMAZING tips. That being said, we are human and make editorial errors just like any one else does. At least we aren't covering politics...
Dope man
Honesty at its peak.
+thetrain3000 it has it's place for sure. It's just never been my way of doing things. If we ever do something like that it would be clear in the title and probably only occur if one of us gets sick or something and can't work on these.
+Jacob Antonio nah, this is a drama free zone.
+HouseholdHacker love watching ur videos! Could u try to show some phones (Android) or computer hacks (windows 10) also some time saving cleaning tips for the house thanks.
This channel beats any "beauty guru" life hack video
+Meow Panda they typically just re do buzz feed lists. We research and test and compile!
+HouseholdHacker i know right! thank you
+HouseholdHacker I love your videos maybe you can give me a shout out for Saiyan Warrior or Mayson shears
+HouseholdHacker thank you
who the fuck puts hard boiled eggs back in the carton?
ikr
i know a lot of people that do. They make them all at once, then they're there for the whole week.
where the fuck else am I gonna put em? I do a dozen at a time so I always have them on hand and put them back in the carton for storage
Someone with eggs that may be a few weeks old...or preparing deviled eggs...or egg salad...or Easter.
well i guess it kinda makes sense
The idea to use hooks for pot lids is awesome....I actually can't wait to give it a try! Thanks for uploading! :D
Putting boiled eggs back in the carton???? Why would anybody do this instead of eating them?
Is your life really that busy you can't spare a couple of mins to prepare food more than once a week?
right?
Paco Evertdush There was another comment between the two of mine earlier LOL
There's plenty of reasons to boil eggs in batches larger than you need at the moment. It saves time, you may want cold, you could be bringing some of both kinds with you somewhere (camping or something) ,and it also saves energy and water.
I boil eggs once a week, usually in the weekend and then I have eggs for a week ready to go
Sadly oreos are not that thick anymore :(
Yea dem cheapskates
To clean out a coffee press without getting grinds down the drain, use two paper towels to cover the sink drain, fill the coffee press with water, then pour it over the paper towels. The water will run through, and the paper towers will trap all of the grinds. Then just bunch up the towels, let the excess water drain and toss it in the trash. You can also use regular drip coffee filters if they fit in your drain right.
My fav is the lid holder for the pots with hooks 😊
one life hack I did was i put 2 thumbtacks into the wall and used it as a phone holder on the wall. or just a little TV.
Glad my grandparents found this channel out! They use almost every single tips you film! Thanks a lot!
There's a bunch of good ideas, that I never thought about, in this video. Nice work, guys.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yes, I, agree, with, you, completely,,,
Tip for getting the toothpaste out of the tube that you left in during that segment of this video: lay the tube on a flat surface such as the sink. Reverse your toothbrush and use the smooth rounded section to work the toothpaste up toward the top using lots of pressure. I've found that I can get just shy of a week's worth of toothpaste out of a tube after it is 'empty' by doing this & it only takes 10-15 seconds.
That's a clever trick too. Thanks for your input.

Really appreciate the demo with the seam ripper on the vacuum cleaner brush. Almost blew my mind...what's left of it. Only thing is...I don't own a vacuum cleaner anymore but I will pass this lovely household hack to someone else. So thank you!:)
Will have a happier ending then Margaret's massage Poler on fifth Avenue- I'm dead😅😅😂😂😂
OMG Then to top off Maggies w/ "just a few well aimed strokes!! LMAO!!
My hack helps remove sharpie off of things.
Things needed: any object with sharpie on it, paper/cloth towels, and spray sunscreen.
Spray your sunscreen onto the area with sharpie in it that needs to be removed. Then, rub the sharpie off with your towel.
Good tips, but not too sure about mixing olive oil with water to spray it. Water and oil don't mix.
i was just thinking that hot oil and water are a bad combo..
You can buy "Light" healthy oils which are easy to spray when placed in a bottle.
Yo HouseholdHacker you been stepping up a lot lately I'm happy. I remember when you guys were practically MIA
Hey thanks for noticing! Yeah, sometimes you can get a little burned out! After a little reorganizing, I think we got it nailed down pretty good now!
I appreciate all your hard work and content you create. It's also pretty cool that you replied :P
still waiting for a "slow and complicated" life hacks video
COMING MUCH MUCH LATER
OMG THAT WOULD BE AMAZING
Definition of dreg:
1 : sediment contained in a liquid or precipitated from it : lees -usually used in plural
2 : the most undesirable part -usually used in plural
3 : the last remaining part
I appreciate language like this. Thank you for teaching me something today.
1:57 did he use a camera as a bottle?
Nope
No it's a cup that looks like a camera lens
From vat19.com
it's a cup that looks like a camera lens I have the same one
I have 2 of those ^.^ one even has a stirer (?) Inside. its my favorite mug lol
I take white Christmas tree lights and attach them with push pins underneath my kitchen cabinets, they give me direct light onto my counters, and they look really cool!! I also put them in a couple fake potted plants I have, gives my home a nice happy vibe! 😃Thanx for your videos, I really enjoy them,, very informative!! 👍
I always wonder if the maker of the video actually uses the "lifehacks" at home.
So, do you? :D
no
+Juan Alejos he wasn't talki to you lmao
no
no
Now now you peasants
Wow, the lid one is amazing!
All family friendly until that massage parlor joke.
I never expected that from this channel
3:17 "u can get right in there"
That's what she said!
I'm so sorry it was too perfect!
😂😂😂
Unoriginal 8 year old joke
Check
instead of the diy cooking spray oil with water can you just use coconut oil?
Probably.
Well, coconut has a flavor, so it would leave a slight coconutty taste to whatever you put in it. I bet eggs wouldn't taste so great with coconut.. Trust me I've tried
Not if you get the tasteless kind. I hate coconut taste too, but am the user who goes through literal TONS of tasteless cooking coconut oil. Find it in the isle where cooking spray is. It'll say something about not having the grind or something in it so its flavorless. :D
Absolutely. We covered that two videos ago. Thanks for watching!!🙂
+HouseholdHacker - can't you just put cooking oil in a spray bottle? 🤔
I love how you guys use a lot of stuff from Dollar Tree.. it makes my day knowing you do all of these things on the cheap!
Can u make a playlist of 'Quick N Simple Life Hacks' Please it could be a good help to me cause I always watch The Quick n Simple Life N I always have problems when trying to find all of the episodes

+HouseholdHacker Thank u very much
+HouseholdHacker hi
The dusty part of the lucky charms is the best part! All crushed marshmallow, YUM!
who puts boiled eggs BACK in the carton?
A lot of people do. So they can cook them in bulk and just grab a few heading out the door for lunch
People with kids
That pan lid trick was ingenuous. I would have never thought of that in my existence
Suggestion:
Next quick and simple life hacks use this one- when going to the grocery store, use heavier objects like drinks and 12 pack sodas to line front of the floor closest to the back car door. This will prevent other grocery items from falling out the door when you get home.
no
wut?
+Juan Alejos it's helpful so stfu
it's as helpful as it makes sense...which is no sense.
+zeradragon what do you mean by "which is no sense"
I particularly liked the seam ripper idea for cleaning vacuum brushes!
Hi householdhacker I have been a fan for an extremely long time and I love your videos. However I think it would be awesome if you bring back Scientific Tuesday's back
+Tuba Hejaab in the works!

+HouseholdHacker thanks for replying
I upcycle plastic water bottles by filling them up with all sorts of spices and pulses (after removing store labels). As these are transparent it helps me know the ingredients, their remaining quantity and also helps me save space when I deck one above another.
I found out that flushing the toilet after taking a huge number 2, is a clean and easy way to get rid of the evidence and some smell :)
Lol happier ending then Margaret's massage parlor 😅😅
"part 13"
what did I miss

No shit sherlock
here's a hack: instead of cleaning your granite floor with exspensive cleaners that dont always work use vinger with water it might smell but your floors should be cleaner.
Instead of creamer I like to use bleach...
Same
oh yeah cuz everyone does that
I usually do that after I watch a leafy vid.
i use diarrhea
I like my coffee like I like my children
Creamy
Useful for Skunk Season! Vinegar works better than tomato juice, does not stain clothes, is safe on pets, and say if it's all over the house because some puppy escaped bath time after being skunked, stick it in little bowls or cups where the smell is and the vinegar will neutralize the skunk. Within 24 hours, the house will have no more skunk smell left and the vinegar smell will dissapate soon after you dump the cups.
the lids hack ..... FREAKIN GENIUS!!!!
I love your videos man! Since I subscribed to this channel, I've watched every video you have uploaded even if I don't care much for the topic. I love your soothing guiding voice. Please never stop! :D
Hey! Thanks!

Oh that shot of the drowned Oreo... HEARTWRENCHING.
If you store bread in a bread basket or other container - please take out the bread and upend it over your bin when you put it away.
It has taken me an embarassing amount of time, and an even more embarassing amount of moldy bread, to notice that old bread crumbs are the cause of much mold on bread.
Your bread might be fresh from the bakers, but those crumbs are 2, 3, maybe 4 breads old, which will make them a breeding ground for mold. Which then will infect your fresh bread and make it rot much sooner.
Don't do this. Food waste is a shame and costs money.
HaploidCell that's your tip? Making sure something is clean? That's fucking common sense
1:31 that show scream is really good... Recommended
Oh my gosh. The hack at 3:10 reminded me of a Roomba I used to have. It would go around the floor for literally one minute and then say "please remove and clean Roomba's brushes." That drove me insane because my long hair strands would always clog the brushes. Eventually I got rid of it. The robotic voice still haunts my dreams...
Gotta say the binder clip on the toothpaste is pretty brilliant
The fork in oreos one just saved my life. THANK YOU
For school instead of sticking loose leaf paper in your binder put them in a sheet protector (extras you can put in the binder), they stay in, but you don't have to open your binder (which damages the prongs) everytime you need loose leaf paper.
the finger slide during the oreo segment was funny lol
to help a slippery screw stick to a screwdriver, spray the screwdriver with a little hairspray and it'll be tacky enough to hold in place for screwing :-)
love this channel!!
For people that like listening to music in bed but don't want to wake up others in the house so you wear in ear headphones which can be harmful over time. Try re-using a cheap pair of over ear headphones by cutting the head strap off (not the wires) and slide them under your sheet and run the wire out the side. The sound is completely fine and it doesn't disturb anyone else
I came up with this one myself
+Charlie Symons
Your award is in the mail
1:03 awesome salt & pepper holder
the last hack was the best
Ahhh!! Love the colander one :)
if you put two bobby pins on the end of the tooth paste tube facing each other and push up it should push the tooth paste with it!
that
is
genius
I love the pan lid storage idea, thanks!
Finally something new and I haven't seen before... These hacks are pretty cool
i love watching householdhacker
2:58 Hole at top shows that one of those small sharp things came thru it
omg i luv the vacuum and cabinet door hack!
Loving the Buffalo Bills art in the bathroom
Whenever I use sticky ingredients, like honey or chocolate syrup, I just run the spoon under water to make it slippery. It saves the time of looking for cooking spray or buttering it up, and it is just water, so I can't hurt anyone.
Loving that bills plaque in the bathroom 🔥🔥
You can try DIY headphones that like have no budget. (the ones that cups over your ears) you put your normal earphones into your ear and then use a hairband (the plastic one that has a headshape) and insert it from the back of your head covering your ear making your ears face down. You will feel a difference in the music played. It feels more like live music
Squeeze out toothpaste by holding the tube on the edge of a table and pulling the end down so it is squeezed at a 90 degree angle and the paste will go toward the cap.
Thank you for the useful tips!!
You can take a bobby pin or paper clip to get the hair out of your hair brush
When folding your t shirts. Fold them in half one more time and stack them. This time instead of placing them vertically on the drawer, put it horizontally making it easier to grab the shirt you want.
"Dont like cereal dust? GRAB A GOD DAMN COLANDER AND DIRTY TWO BOWLS INSTEAD OF ONE!"
If you're cooking eggs but ran out of cooking oil cook bacon first. The oil from the bacon works just as well and makes the eggs taste better
I'm definitely using the pan lid hack, thanks.
a good life hack i do and feel free to share is storing the bulky cables used pringles cans before anything clean it with rubbing alcohol
thumbs up for the seam ripper on the vaccum i love it
My HH. Save your old vinyl shower curtain and use it in your garage if you change the oil in your car. It works better than newspapers in case of a spill.
WOW. Who would ever thinking of doing these things? genius.
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS SO MUCH XD
You can fill the toothpaste bottle with air all the way and grab on to the end of the tube, and shake it for about 20 seconds and that "empty" tube lives to save the day once more
Awesome tips - especially like the oil spray. Thank you!
house hack: if your house smells bad put two cap fulls of vanilla extract in the oven at 300 for an hour. It'll make your whole house smell fantastic
For the toothpaste thing, I just take the end othe the tube and slide it on the edge of the sink and boom. No clip needed.😀😀
A life hack channel that
1. has hacks that actually work
2. are actually cheaper than just buying useless garbage
get rid of stubborn tumeric stains from your carpet using shaving cream. You can also use shaving cream to remove correction fluid from your skin
I really like his household life hacks!!
I put my ice cream in a ziplock bag before putting it back into the freezer, it keeps the ice cream super soft so when you scoop it makes life easy.
I find the pan lid one very useful... I'm actually gonna make use of it myself...
One special occasions, I put pancake batter into a empty ketchup bottle and use cookie cutters to make a special shaped pancake
to avoid foggy mirrors or windows (especiallu when after a shower) take a small amount of shaving cream and buff it onto the surface using a microfiber cloth. works great with everything from mirrors to car windows and you only have to do it once every few months!
Your hacks are very effective and useful.
Thank you for all the other hacks as well they have made my life soo much easier
for tooth paste you can put the cap inside the drawer and pull from the end it will force all the tooth paste to one side
I use the popcorn one on bags of chips too! It keeps my work desk clean!
omg your hacks made my days easier ......keep up the good work
that oreo tip saved my life
1:28 next time your chillin, meanwhile Netflix plays in the background
I don't remember if you have done this or not... But you can make a cheap and effective knife "block" by pouring dry rice into an appropriately sized cup or jar and then putting your knife in point down.
Definitely gonna put these "hacks" to the test.
I'm gonna use that oreo cookie hack! thanks for the tip!!!
This hack works do good it's hard to not do it once you have tried it.
