Wouldn't cutting the plastic container for the plug all the way down like in the video leave the plugs sitting in a pool of water. Maybe cut only halfway so they are suspended above should any water make its way into the container... Perhaps even use some thin cardboard and use the prongs of the plug to punch through it and plug it in on the other side. It's not conductive so it won't be a problem. It can act like a stand to ensure they don't droop in the middle.

Form mine, only cut away enough for fit the cord in and and shut the lid. All with the figure 8 connection keeping the plugs higher then the base if water ever got in.
And try to get the cords to go down and away from the container, also helps the water from not entering.

I think it's a rendering error from the editing software.
One of the best summer sweets is the famous French "melon glace" (melon with ice cream). It's really easy to make, just cut a melon in half, take out the seeds and fill the central hole with your favorite ice cream. Works best if the melon itself was also cooled in the freezer for a while. It also looks good enough to serve at a party. Depending on your preferences you can also add a bit of flavored beverage to it (about 2 tablespoons of white vermouth or one tablespoon of liqueur) or a few chopped leafs of mint or basil on top.
