Hello EMKYLE! I would like to visit the Dolomites in the summer, any advice on what to bring for hiking (Ive never really done it before) or what places or paths to take? Thank you so much!!
Maria Tuntisi In summer there a lot of accommodation open on the mountains and lakes where you can stay when you're not familiar with camping etc. I can recommend to go to lake sorapis and the tre cime. That are awesome locations.
Awesome video and pictures, just stunning 🙌🏻 ... you got my abo in Instagram. I am also planing a solo foto trip to the Dolomites next year. Your route looks really interesting, can you link a short overview of some waypoints? Thank you very much in advance...
Amazing photos! I just booked my trip to Dolomites in July for 6 days. I want to visit the places from your photos but I am not a pro hiker. Do you think I can stay in one hotel and drive to different locations each day and hike up, or do I need to move around hotels? I am going to pack my a6500 and a few lens. Do you think it is worth it to bring a drone?
Nice video mate. I really like the night shots! Looks like there's still some light pollution in the Dolomites. How is it with wild camping in Italy? Any problems?
Thanks Marshall. The light pollution is from the large northern Italy cities. Wild camping is official not allowed. But it's like anywhere else if you behave and follow some rules you will be fine.
Great video! One hint only: I believe you meant "through" instead of "trough". Trough means "depression" in English. Through is more appropriate maybe:) I've been to Sorapiss too. Great experience, but I didn't sleep there. I'll consider it next time:D
Andrea Cristoforetti Thanks a lot. This Spot is at the tre cime. I shot it on the path between Refugio Lavaredo and Cappella degli Alpini. Hope that helps. You can actually view it on Google Street view.
Wanpis46 Yes youre right, in general wild camping is prohibited in whole Italy. But I built the tent for only a few hours and rest in it before continuing shooting, so it's a Grey zone. But I saw old fireplaces and some trash which is really sad that people impacted the nature in a bad way there.
Jesus Christ is Lord and loves you ♡ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1. John 5:12 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 Repent from your sin and come to Christ! :) (I know, this comment is not referring to the video, but I just wish you all to find god’s endless love and don’t get into hell)

Raymond Wong yes you can do day trips from one hotel. Most hikes I did are not that long or exhausting. Definitly bring your drone :)

Hi, Emkyle, when is the best time to visit The Dolomites?
Eva Salvador Caldas I would say late spring and autumn. The summer is very crowded.
Muchas gracias!
beautiful my friend! Aloha
nice video! What time of year were you there? Im thinking going at the end of April
DONAL HOGAN I was in mid may. End of April could be good, but I guess it will be more cold and more snowy.
Could you please point in Google Maps the exact location of the picture in minute 5:44??
Hi I am going to the dolomites this summer do you have any tips and places to camp ??
Yes Lake Sorapis is really awesome and there is enough flat terrain to camp.
Great video! One hint only: I believe you meant "through" instead of "trough". Trough means "depression" in English. Through is more appropriate maybe:)
I've been to Sorapiss too. Great experience, but I didn't sleep there. I'll consider it next time:D
Hey Denis, thanks a lot for the correction! i appreciate that.
How you still camp in dolomiti not nearly refudgio? I think it forbidden :-)
How much photography gear did you carry? I'm sure weight was an issue?
Oh yes that is always an issue ;-) All in all it was around 5kg. When i travel to non hiking trips its usually around 8-10kg
Great work, super..!!! :-)
