My heart breaks for Landon, he loved his Mom, which speaks volumes about her character! My deepest condolences.
@genevieve4890he could have known but took “her word for it” as I’m sure she made up some story that it wasn’t her fault. Women like this are dangerous and insane…very manipulative. my brothers ex wife had 2 kids prior to him…one passed at 6 months; the other was 12 and she never saw him…and the 12 yr old broke his femur at 3 months old from allegedly “rolling over” she told us she lost custody of the 12 yr old (when he was a toddler) because she was mourning her other baby and the dad “knew court people” and took everything from her…it was hard to question that. But me, being me, couldn’t let it go. I found the dad and his wife-I reached out to the wife (the one the child calls mom)..it was all a lie. She told me to be careful with my niece-which isn’t her kid. My brother WOULD NOT LISTEN. she locked a 6 yr old outside to “sleep” She would leave the baby with strangers, disappear for days, say she was coming-didn’t show up. I mean, she did this for YEARS. So they put an end to it. The only way she could see him last I knew-was in a setting with a psychologist.
Such a terrible senseless crime. He was a child wanting to be loved. Once in a while there is a special child being born. Gannon was one of them. Why Leticia murdered him is just a mystery in a way. She received the verdict that she deserved. She already destroyed so many lives and will not be able to do it again. From what I could see she showed no remorse. How hateful do you have to be to act like that?

@genevieve4890 Yes they do backgrounds are everything expensive ones I don't know how she ever got a job at a school I don't know if she went around using other names I his dad's gotta be blaming himself in bed for meeting her and bringing her around and I hope that Dad is not blaming himself, because this is a you know just with what's happened because all my goodness if I wouldn't of brought her into the picture, this would've never happened and I just won him to know that it's not his fault that he couldn't have known him And yeah, the priors I was just telling my husband that this woman probably has a very extensive record with violence and then when I found out her ex-husband Harley's dad died over some kind of drug overdose. I thought maybe she told them I do not envy those parents. I can't imagine how hard this all is.
@genevieve4890 my sentiments exactly, with the information out there, and cases like this very one available for public consumption the excuses of “I didn’t know”, or “ I was manipulated” are drying up fast, that stunt she pulled in Phoenix was enough for any rational man to open his eyes an realize what a damn demon he shared his bed with, I’m sure her sexual prowess kept his concerns at bay, but what a horrific outcome for poor Gannon it was. It’s Shameful. All people venturing into relationships need beware; do better, especially parents.
I followed this case from the start of the trial. Gannon was born two months exactly after my first and he shared identical interests with my two girls. I sobbed watching the victim impact statements today and hope so much that his family knows that people all over the world are holding them and Gannon in their hearts. I’m in Connecticut and want to send all of my love, condolences, and gratitude that they were able to get the most Justice our system allows - she deserves to have done to her what she did to that sweet boy but sadly we don’t punish criminals like that. I know this case will stay with me for a long long long time. ❤
Her victim impact statement was absolutely perfect. I cried. I wanted to clap after her speech!!

I know I cried my eyes out. I haven't finished the trial yet. I'm trying to get through it in one piece because it is very sad. Extremely sad to feel the pain and it's so rough for them. I don't think they'll ever be the same again. Father in heaven, please god I thank you to bring Landon and I'll healing and loving somehow a way to go on after losing her son so violently God show me your love around them and let them know that you're with them God and you're so proud of them, please take care of them God, in the name of Jesus amen

Tha fact Gannon was a micropreemie like my son just absolutely breaks my heart. My son was 1lb 9 oz so I know first hand what a miracle Gannon was. So devastating and unfair. Sending so many prayers to his entire family .
It's so heartbreaking knowing how hard he fought to be in this world! My son was a 3 pound premie. He looked massive next to the babies as tiny as y'all's in the NICU.

Why is the titled “Biological Mother”???? Landon is Gannon’s MOTHER period.
He has/had a mother, an ex-stepmother and a current stepmother.
@@PumaLyn she is his mother, plain and simple. When and if they're referring to the stepmother or ex stepmother, they can refer to *her* as such, not his mom.
@@PumaLyn yep, and she is his MOTHER. Saying "biological" mother makes it sound as if he was adopted. Landen is his MOTHER, the others are STEP mothers and can be referred to as such. Additionally in the caption, the news station didn't even get her last name correct. Her last name hasn't been "Hoitt" for some time now. Journalism is so pathetic these days.
Her righteous anger could have been tenfold more and still understood.

My heart is with this mom. Gannon showed these bridge workers to where his body was. He is with you always Landen. His spirit lives on in you. I cried when I heard you speak. I had to give a impact statement when my daughter was murdered 11 years ago by a drunk driver. It was so hard but I know what I spoke was true. These jury member you came back with truth and Justice. My heart goes out to all who worked so hard to give Gannon the Justice he deserved. RIP sweet sweet Gannon.

You should report that Landen is Gannon's mother unless a preference for "biological mother" has been expressed by Landen. No one will confuse her with the stepmother.

I actually respect Landon and her humble spirit during this situation. I am very satisfied that the jury and judge weren’t deceived by Letecia’s lies.

I have been following this case from the beginning, all the way from Germany. I will always rember it. Especially as a Mom of three myself, my heart aches for Gannon's loved ones. His parents have shown so much strength throughout the last couple years.. My favorite color is also blue and my girls have some blue butterflies on their bedroom wall that often remind me on Gannon.
Also, Gannon's Mom's name is Landen Bullard..
Apologize to your kids and Gannon… 😢 parents always listen to your kids don’t ignore them PLEASE.

What an amazing job by prosecutors, family and the community for coming together and going the distance to make sure that evil stepmonster never sees the light of day as a free woman ever again. When this first happened it was said that she had addiction issues. Now people are saying she had a medical condition. In any case I hope this helped her get sober.

I'm absolutely disgusted that fox31 would label her the biological mother. She was Gannon's mother. The monster was his stepmother. Calling her the biological mother might be accurate but oh my God is it inappropriate! Shame on you Fox News she was a very good mother. I'm sure if Gannon was living with Landon when Leticia did what she did, I don't think you'd be sitting here calling her quote" the biological. It brings with it an understanding of absenteeism in parenting when them being the biological parent is already understood.

Saddest most horrific story ever. LS showed no remorse ever. Not even at sentencing or impact she made disrespectful faces. The irony is she cared so much what people thought that she became everything she feared people were saying. She had every chance to make it right. I hope she gets some street justice in jail. Too bad Co didn’t have death penalty. She’s inhuman. God bless this family. Cautionary Tale: children deserve both parents to commit to raising them, together, in secure and loving environment. Step parents, boyfriends and girlfriends - oftentimes recent raising children not their own.
Landan failed her children by deciding she no longer wanted to be responsible for their care. Note: Gannon, at age 11, could not always control his bowels. And Letechia had a senior in high-school, and Letechia worked outside her home.
No excuse, but means of understanding: Letechia took kids hiking during which Gannon had messed his pants - she had to clean that up, Gannon then proceeded to burn a hole in the rug. All the while, Letechia is planning to start a new job the next day - and Al's not there to help: She had a psychotic break.
Judicial process was phenomenal and deliberation and verdict fair.
But, Landan should shut up, Gannon was her son, and she did not want to care for him.

She was going through medical treatment so Gannon's dad had temporary custody.
It's none of our business why. If you're nosey enough, you will figure it out and you will still probably end up judging this woman. It is not her fault. She did nothing wrong. The children were with their father like they should be. Letecia was their step mother. She didn't need to marry him. She didn't need to be the other woman when he was married to Landon. She knew what she was signing up for. She knew he was in the military. People complain that dad's don't step up when they're nedded and then the same people complain when they do.
Where was the Divine intervention when Gannon was being attacked?
