Very simple song but effective and emotional, I dont even educated and I cant read sheets but watched that video and I learnt this piece in 4 hours thats. One of my favorite piece ❤
@@VadDemCh i first started last year, but have been playing on and off for five years (only watched RUclips tutorials and stuff, so I have a fairly good repertoire).
@@gabin9097 really? Because Ludovico's and Yann's style are quite smilar, I mean the melancholic, nostalgic but beautiful meaning of their pieces they also make incredible pieces with a not really strange harmony
Why everyone says that this piece is easy come ooon! I mean clair de lune is obviously much more difficult but this piece has some part that are not so easy. Portz goret was easier for me to learn. And obviously doesn't take me 40min to learn this song.. (i've been playing piano for a year)
Porz goret was way harder for me to learn, it took me a few months because I had to catch up but this only took me two days lmao I've been playing for 6 years tho
It's just one note that's played by the right hand first then the left hand. It just looks confusing here but it's really not. Also sustain pedal to hold the note, yes.
So I learned the first section quite easily but the part where the left hand picks up is so hard for me I can't even see the notes does anyone know an easier way?
dmkajnew just give time to the practice ;-; is just what i’m doing, try something like recording a part and play the other at the same time to. (For example record left hand and play with the right hand)
I just came here to say the same thing. But I'm not 100% sure I would say "wrong." This version seems to follow the official sheet music for the piece, a fancy, colorful book which I own along with the album. This version and the music both differ slightly from what Tiersen plays on the album track. For example, in bars 9 thru 12, where the second B-flat is written in each of those bars, Tiersen actually plays a G-flat on the record. There's also a RUclips of Tiersen playing this piece on "Bali Breizh," a show on French TV, and there too he plays a G-flat instead of the second B-flat in each measure. It sounds fine both ways, but I wonder whether the sheet music was just transcribed wrong or if Tiersen wrote it one way first and then changed his mind after the music was published. The official music also contains no specific pedal instructions. It just says "gant Ped" at the beginning. "Gant" in French means "glove," so God knows what that means. I can tell Tiersen is pedalling off during the piece, bc when you keep the pedal down all the time the piece gets muddy. I am learning this piece now. Started with the sheet music and am sort of switching over to ear, so these little variations are jumping out at me.
In another universe Yann Tiersen would’ve been deservingly famous.
I had never heard this piece before... yet for some reason it made me feel so nostalgic !!
Two years ago I really wanted to play this piece. Thank God I can play now
Yann still surprises me, how did I miss such a beautiful melody! I will surely make an attempt to learn it! thanks for sharing!

This is disrespectful, I mean you can't say "any ludovico fans" on yann tiersenn's piece video. Both are very good so now shut up.
Part 0:41- 0:59 is a bit different than original 😉😎

I'm like one and a half year playing piano and I am in the same situation.
I found Porz Goret harder as it's longer. I'm trying to record a decent cover to upload on RUclips.

The e flat sounds like staccato when I play it how to improve
Hey Jacob, are those piano pieces like "Moments" and "Grieving times" yours? if not, from where have you got them?
Yes. The pieces you mention are my own original compositions :)
Wow they are amazing, are you playing the piano professional or just for "fun"?
can you do 'La Noyee' ?
Finally I tried this one! I would appreciate if you check it out! :)
Jacob, how many years of practicing piano you have?
(Sorry about my bad english)
At least 2 years, that's for sure.

Very beautiful song! But quick question, how are you supposed to play the little part at 0:20??
With the pedal of sustain my Friend 😉
It's just one note that's played by the right hand first then the left hand. It just looks confusing here but it's really not. Also sustain pedal to hold the note, yes.
So I learned the first section quite easily but the part where the left hand picks up is so hard for me I can't even see the notes does anyone know an easier way?

I wish I had a Chinese mode but unfortunately I struggle to keep the left hand playing one thing an d interlocking the right hand with those notes 😩

Learn to read pieces, easiest way tho
i feel like the right hand is the left hand and the left is the right in this song
😍😍😍😍😍
Can somebody explain why there are two color lines
the blue is for left hand and orange is right, the dark orange is for black keys and light orange is for white keys
This looks like it might be Tiersen's hardest piece to learn
Rue des Cascades, try it :))
Anti Bullshit will do haha. I'm currently working on some other stuff but I'll get around to this soon.
not at all!😉
apollux Nevermind I got it down in about 15 minutes 😂
Yea this one isn't too bad, taking me a lot longer than 15 mins tho haha. I think Enez Nein is pretty difficult.
Esta es más difícil que Portz Goretz?
Están casi igual, te recomiendo aprender las dos, eso hice yo xd
Learned this in exactly 40 minutes, is it a long or short time?
Those are rookie numbers
Lol thats genius
Heisenberg And you are extremely rude. Being a little appreciative or supportive doesn't hurt.
sarcastic not rude
Kevin Azad yes, but if you convert it to an asian one, it so fucking long time. since asians can play this by just hearing it.
