This would 100% crash my game and destroy the file. I can’t even do the double base. When I did I lost my first world completely. It was fine for a bit but then after the Sakurajima update I loaded in and after about 10 minutes it started to lag really hard (I only play offline if that tells you how straining it is) I stopped moving to let the game catch up and was gonna go and take some pals out of the base so it would load better and I could disassemble the double base to spread back out. As soon as I fast traveled to my base the game froze. I let it sit for 45 minutes hoping it would recover but no luck. I reset my Xbox and started Palworld up. It didn’t work Ben show the unreal screen and froze on black screen. I reset again and loaded a different game up to make sure it wasn’t my Xbox just giving up and Chivalry loaded just fine. Tried Palworld again and it let me get to the menu so I tried to load my world. When it loaded in it immediately sent a pop up text that said something like “cannot save, file data too large or not enough storage.” Or something very similar. I gave up for the night and tried again the next day just for the exact same the to happen again including the first time I launched the game it freezing on black screen. I gave up and started a new world as a challenge run and waited for some patch updates and even after getting Feybreak that world wouldn’t load anymore so I had to delete it. I had almost every pal as a lucky and had 5 flawless Orzerks and many other pals that I had spent literally days breeding perfect versions of. Had every legendary schematic and everything. A whole base with no pals purely for storage of resources. I had 5 full reinforced chest full to the brim with every ore 5 for each ore. I had one of every merchant captured and so much gold I could buy 10 stacks of everything and still have more than enough to do an entire play through. I was devastated to lose so much progress
Doing this your resources wont be available among all bases right? Additionaly, as i didint saw any containers, are you storing everything in the `main house`? If thats the case, do the resources are available for crafting and/or constructions?? how do you adress this issue?
From my experience in building mega bases with multiple pal boxes, it's best to place your foundations first (I typically do a 3x3 for the pal box with the box itself in the center). then from the center of the 3x3 building straight out in a direction with the next pal box out and trying to place, that way you can see where it will let you place it (due to the fact that pal boxes need certain space in between each), keep in mind, pal boxes need roughly 21 foundation lengths in between each. Then building a 3x3 around that one and so on repeating the process. Love the video and keep up the great work!
I actually went and made this base over the course of 12+ hours. Complete with some decorations in and around the center structure to spice it up and make it look more comfy. Overall, this is my favorite base build I have ever made, and its all thanks to your video. Cheers mate.

The marsh islands is a good idea its got a lot of open land pretty flat and its not a bad idea for a early base because u can find alot of berry bushes
For buildings outside the base even with decay off and structure damage reduced i end up with accidental destuction from pal attack damage from pal AOE attacks. I was thinking today of setting up a few towers with machine gun turrets (no splash damage like rockets) and a gunner pal and turning off all my other base pals combat actions. Probably overkill, but the round base footprint drives me pretty nuts. Thanks for sharing this idea, i hadnt really thought about the viability of joining them so closely until now, but i am definitely moving into making a few specialised bases rather than all in one bases. Ranch transport needs are different from bulk transport needs and that alone makes all in one bases annoying to optimise. Palworld adding base naming would be great, would love to be able to see the name of the base i am fast travelling to. I know it is easy enough for us to know as we built it, but still, nice and easy addition relatively speaking.
This is awesome! Do you have any recommendations on where to build 4 bases that also contains a spot to mine for oil? Or is there a production tool that generates oil similar to the logging and ore stations? I havent gotten that far in all the technology to unlock. I absolutely love this video. I have been wanting to connect my bases and I wasnt sure about my path forward. 😅
Personally for me the island with the Sixth Tower (I forgot what it's called) is where I have my crappy non functional crude oil drill build the base there where you want your resources gatherings to be, and work around that so you can gather crude oil as well. (Have fun powering everything though 😅)
great video, i pretty much built it to your specs. a question, how do you keep mobs out of your base? i have the view setting set to max, but the miraculously show up in my base, especially raids, they seem to bypass my walls.
Very cool, really nice design... practicality wise maybe not so usefull if your allowed 10 bases it would be more practical but if your only allowed say 5 cause of the world or server settings that only gives you 1 base to put out for passive aquasitions of cruid oil...
whats the reasoning behind putting the pals in the base where its extras? is it to keep them from going on expeditions? I've been having that trouble where they will be picked, i wish there was a system where you could fav in a way that keeps them from being used outside what you want of them. Also super love this idea im totally gonna use it~
I love these kind of idea and bases. Made a couple that I am really proud of. But the issue is that that the game tends to have stuttering and frame rate drops when you are in them.
What if you already made a base and are looking to expand it using this method? Do I have to dismantle my existing base and start over or can I just use this method to add on?
Easiest way is to use the new guild chest, build one at current location and then one at the new location, move all materials into it then you can just rebuild/dismantle that way. Still a bit of a grind but great result.
I made a 10 base, base. Max pals. Pity is, it seems to be too big in 1 area and it hates trying to load all the time. Have to reset xbox, load up again blah blah blah. Good fun. Love having all the bases next to to each other
How do I know the coordinates are where your putting the bases cause I have started like these bases, but I have put wood around instead of stone cause I can't be bothered to make cement
If you want to reduce the lag from "Viewing Cages" but you don't have space in your pal box, just destroy the cages with the pals in there and they'll all drop in a perfect circle. Esp with them spread out like that you'll be able to see each pal sphere pretty easily. Basically infinite space at your base, and they never disappear.
Sooooo any way to get the trees to stop growing other then building something ontop of them 👀 or should I keep at least two lumber pals in base at all times just incase lol
Only thing I can think of is to turn down or up, whichever increases the time in-between, for "Gatherable objects respawn interval" Sadly this affects everything else tied to it though, which may or may not be a problem depending how far you are.
In case your question hasn't been answered from other sources, you find oil from small circular black nodes in the ground. There's a load around the west side of the volcano area I think
I was trying to do something like this on the coast with some islands. But I couldn't complete the bridges connecting them 😢 So I have to find a new spot.
i am totally going to use this idea, thank you! my only additional suggestion (additional to the other comment about putting down the small foundation first)(along with the 1 wide connecting foundation)is to use the N,S,E,W to line up/ lay out your build . (prolly my ocd speaking there, but it helps me.)
I havent played in a while guild chests are new to me, can pals store matierals in them or do you have to manually go around from base to base and move stuff into them?
This is exactly why we need human NPCS to come and join our bases as residents. You could be their own cheiftan or a mayor or a king! This is so satisfying to watch! Thank you for the video!

Having a huge base is awesome however your pals will still only work within each circle so as cool as it may be not sure it's all that practical imo. Great tutorial in any case.
That’s why you only put the pals that are made for that pal box, so one could be farming, so you’ll only have farming, one with mining, so on. So only the pals you need would be there

I feel screwed over, I’ve come back to the game after the update to a bunch of items with no explanation or story attached to it. I was a Don with a 5 storey super factory base lol😂Now there is new materials and weapons on lower runs of the tech tree that look essential for progress. It all feels messy now for invested veterans.
First make sure ur base level is high enough . And also in your world settings before you enter your world, go to the bottom you will see max number of bases for guilds or something like that. Test it out with like 5 max
The way you did it was a bit more complicated lol. Fyi, in any game that allows you to build, just do like a little 3x3 island, use the middle outer foundation to build outward however many you either want or need, then do another 3x3 when you reach your destination, and then out the rest of the way depending on the shape you are going with. AND THEN!! In the context of Palworld, you simply line the Palboxess up with the very middle of the 3x3s, and taking its range limits under consideration only slightly when simply using the middle foundations as your measurement method, and boom... your done. Here, foundations was seemingly happy go luckily placed just about anywhere in any amount using the Palboxes which can lead to measurement issues and over all lineing up of the bases. Use only foundation measurements, don't use the Palboxes lol. At a point it was stated that you want the bases close and lined up, but then you see him on his 2nd replacement run replace the one that I would say was actually the best lined up and line it up with one I would argue was one of the ones that needed adjusting. As to lining everything up to have a house in the middle, that would depend on you really I feel. Though I can understand how you may need to go a bit further than "close to one another" in order to have quite a bit of room to fumble around with a house.

They’ve updated it recently to where after a few days dropped pals will disappear

If you have no chests, your pals will place materials in the guild chests!

The best spot I know of is -855, -455. It has 3 oil spots close together and all fit in one base. Haven't found another like it though.

I just built this last night. I had to turn off raids because they were spawning inside my walls. Anyway to stop it
I've tried doing this before and it doesn't work for some reason, Raids keep spawning in the centre area and the bases get damaged.
Is this where the guy from the Facebook group got this from or is this the same guy
