- Top Shelf or Steel Pines Cargo Dump Trailer? Did I make the right choice?? Watch the video and make your decision #dumptrailer #junk
Yeah I really struggled between the two trailers but your right you pay extra for the icing. Btw, Great content & keep up the good work. I will be following your channel
Thanks. Looking forward to your journey. I use to do junk removal in South Florida. How is the market for JR in your area?
Love my 2024 Diamond C LPT Series Dump...4500lbs empty
I’m not sure the weight on this one. Definitely feels light after towing 17k trailers full of roofing material so I’m not complaining
Sounds like a promotion for Top Shelf trailers lol. Youre not being a sticker. $10k is still a lot of money. I would expect, for that price, not to have certain high end features and certain upgrades. But, I would certainly expect them to take care of the basics like paint, flush seams, etc. They didnt and that's just laziness. Those clamps are janky. All those small imperfections are ya, small, but in the long run, when you put it all together, it adds up. It will still work and do as expected, but they could have put more effort into their work. If I was in your shoes, I would be a little disappointed. It's still a nice looking trailer and will serve you well for what you need it for.
All the dump trailers I looked at had very similar imperfections…I’m a recently retired pipeline welder of 35yrs so of course I easily spot janky looking welds and couldn’t find one brand with decent quality welds until I saw the Diamond C that I wound up purchasing last month…although I could find fault with a few things and it sure doesn’t look like any of the welding work that was expected by by the pipeline inspectors from me but it will do 16k later! 😅
@bjorker40 pretty sad considering the trade is men who do heavy duty hauling. I've heard nothing but good things about Diamond C trailers, but they come at a cost.
I don't understand how you can make a comparison video, but you're not sure/don't have the correct information on the specs for each trailer...
