Thanks buddy 🙌
Eyyyy nice one!
Thanks!!
great video
Super cool!
Sensational video, no doubt... I'm migrating to blackmagic cameras, and previously I used sony cameras connected to my atem extreme sending the HDMI in 4k, but since blackmagic can only send 1080p, using this blocker I lose the functions of integrating the devices , but I can send a 4k signal to my ATEM as I did with my Sony?
looks good. Using the hollyview M1 and 400s on my bmpcc rig too. Good combo
How you finding the M1 so far?
@@AlexPettitt like the ease of use and all in one design. Pairing was good too. A bit laggy using Wi-Fi to transmit though and wished it was brighter. But overall good package
What brand fiber optic HDMI cables were you using?
Incredible Job Alex!!!! Where can i found the CEC destroyer? I'm dreaming about this solutions for months.
Thanks Diego! I got mine from Amazon: amzn.to/3eFmtmu
Try searching CEC Destroyer or CEC Less Adapter :) Hope this helps
Thank you again. With CEC destroyer I will not controll the color or the camera setting by the atem, is it right? But I will rec on camera in pro res.
@@diegodavila9356 That is correct. The CEC adapter block ALL return signals from the ATEM, including Tally, camera control etc :) It tricks the camera into thinking its not plugged into an ATEM, but just a basic monitor for example
Nice work mate! I am curious the reasoning for going fiber HDMI vs SDI? Yes it would have meant converters on each cameras but much more robust cabling for cameras? Both certainly work, just curious to your thought process :)
Great question! Mainly came down to the facts of a mix of 1) Getting hold of enough converters in time. 2) Getting hold of a Multiview 16 which we were looking at using. 3) Turned out to be much more expensive to go the SDI route. But 4, and probably more importantly.... Keeping everything SDI meant that we had a much more simple setup and so we could strike each set quicker and instal the next one faster :) The Fiber HDMI's were also solid as a rock thankfully, even over 100 meters :)
@@AlexPettitt Yeah cool, makes sense! HDMI just scares the heck out of me ;)
@@RyanSomerfield Haha you're not alone there! I did a lot of stress testing with the cables before hand and luckily we also had spares ready to go incase of any issues :)
What brand of HDMI fiber cables did you use?
Alex you say 'one mile of fibre optic cables' - surely you are talking about HDMI fibre cables, or have I missed something? great piece by the way - well done, John.
Good question John! Yeah referring to Fiber Optic HDMI Cables when talking about the cables. We had a mixture of 100m and 50m runs per camera, depending on their placement :)
@@AlexPettitt Thanks Alex, where in the UK do you purchase your HDMI Fibre cables? Are they 2 way or one?
Hi which Go Pros do you guys use? Thanks in advance
Thats a good question. Don't know for sure as Kon organised those, but I believe it was a mixture of models.
