I love the 14+. Lots of people want a phone with a larger screen but don't need the pro features or want to pay the pro price. The + phone is perfect.
I personally use the iPhone 14 plus. I like it overall and it works for me.I can say that I have extremely good battery life and can get 2 days of use sometimes. I’d prefer having pro-motion and usb-c over lightning, otherwise it is really good.
I’d say you should wait to the 15 plus or get a deal if your considering it now.

I got it too, I like the screens size and battery. I had an XR for three years and then got this one, so it’s an upgrade for me
Been using my 14 plus since February and it’s been great for me. Battery life is excellent still at 100% health. Won’t need to upgrade anytime soon
got my 14 plus red in late march and i am sad my battery health went down to 99% 😒😒

@@4AJX 99% after a few months isn't a huge deal. Don't worry too much about what the percentage says. It should be at around 80% after two years after all, so 99% after a few months seems to be fine I think.
@@Kephinio I try to not let it bother me but according to the statistics my 14 plus has been charged 50 times with a battery health of 99% and my iPad for, 2020 charged 443 times with 90% battery health

I bought an iPhone 14 Plus in April. So far I am very pleased. Battery life is amazing. Appreciate how light it is. Really enjoy the big screen. Emergency SOS via satellite is important capability for me. My best iPhone so far !! Thanks for your very useful videos !!

The one thing I don't like about my iPhone 14 Pro Max has to be the weight of it. It does feel like a brick in my pocket. I just got the cellular activated on my Series 7 Apple Watch just because the weight of the phone was terrible when I'm outside walking. I can leave my iPhone at home now and not worry about the weight. Great review!
Been using the 14 plus since Oct last year and happy with it especially battery life & larger screen. Battery health still 100% as I dont charge it to 100% often.
I always get the highest model phones until my brief time with the 13 mini. Now I have the 14 plus because I just want the phone to be large and have good battery. I really don’t need the extra power or features of a pro max.

I have been using the 14 Plus since launch. I traded my iPhone 12 for this phone and am quite impressed by the great battery life, big display and high quality speakers. When it comes to performance, this phone is a beast. The camera is consistently good. Even with my screen time of 8-9 hours per day, this phone easily lasts for one and a half days, without me worrying about carrying a charger everywhere. And yeah, it's not all roses. I really wish this had the pro motion feature. Also the square design on a big phone like this makes it a pain to hold the phone without a case. I'm using a wireless charger every night to charge the phone and probably due to this my battery health has deteriorated quickly over the months. However, battery life is still awesome.
if it had 120hz display it will kill its biggest USP that is the battery life, which is more important? for me its battery life over 120hz display tbh!

Coming from iphone 8 Plus that I have used for 6 years, finally I got my hands on a new 14 Plus last week. I had the best price deal with my telecom provider. And yes, there is nothing for me to complain about this phone so far, it had been living up to my expectations (and with all the reviews I have seen), specially the truly long battery life as advertised by Apple
I still have the 8 plus and I’m considering a 50 dollar new battery or spend 1500 on a new 15 pro max🤔🤔🤔

@@nguyenlong3683 why not spend the extra 200-250 and get the newest one?? Yes the 14 models will drop in price once the 15 arrives but it’s been about 7 years since I’ve bought a phone. Getting a 13 pro max from an 8 plus is an upgrade also but given my 7-8 year track record the 15 pro max or ultra 256 will be the choice and i should be good till the iPhone 23 arrives. 😂
Also still on my 8+ and seriously considering upgrading to a 14+, been scouring YT for reviews on the 14+ and all the negatives I hear on it is when compared to the 13 or 12 so for me jumping up from as far back as the 8, I think the negatives will be a non-factor! And your comment just kinda gave me the last little push I needed 😅
@@GOLDvlaminck I’m not going older if upgrading from my 8 plus. I’m gonna get the 15 pro max with 256 and the A17 chip and better camera . I haven’t bought a phone in 7-8 years so this should last me the same amount of time so gimme all the goodies now. This 8 plus has treated me well with one battery replacement a year ago and it’s time for another one since I’m at 75%.
I have use the 14+ now since it’s cut out. It works great. But I am thinking of dropping down to the 15 size phone. Just because it’s a bit more pocket friendly. But overall the 14+ has been a good phone with good speakers a solid device. No problems here.
Starting with the 12-era iPhones, Apple’s first-party cases took a significant nose dive in quality. I used to insist on an apple case because they were so much better and more durable, but the silicone cases since the 12 have been brittle and cheap, I was shocked when I first put it on my phone. I prefer the apple leather case now, the apple wallet sticks to it like glue, but it is noticeably thinner than in years past. But it’s very durable and hasn’t needed replacing for two years now.
Even the leather cases since the 12 have seen a dip in quality. Comparing my leather case from the 11 Pro Max to the 13 Pro Max, the leather actually patinas and ages properly, the fit is a lot more secure and consistent, and the actual leather quality is FAR superior on the older case.

I own an iPhone 14 Plus. I bought it for 256GB at $1070 in my country at the end of December. The iPhone 13 Pro Max with the same memory cost more than $200 higher. And the iPhone 14 Pro Max was more than $500 more expensive. So considering the local prices, I didn’t have much choice :) I have had a great experience with this phone for more than 7 months.

I just got the 14 plus last week. I came from a IPhone 11 and wow this phone is great and plenty fast for me. I don’t like the dynamic island it seems gimmicky to me. I plan on keeping this phone for 5 years or more. I moved over to apple from Android because of the longevity of software support. I got a heck of a deal on the 14 plus. Verizon gave me 700 dollars for my old iPhone 11 which is more than what I paid for it. I got the 256 gb plus. I just wanted a bigger screen phone and camera doesn’t bug me because I don’t take a lot of pictures so camera for me is good enough and already great. Appreciate the long term review of this phone. ❤
Same. I had the iPhone 11 and switched to the 14+. I’ve loved this thing so far and it’ll be comparable until I want to get another phone or trade in.
I had the iPhone 13 Pro which ended up absolutely lacking in the battery department as well as it having speaker issues so I decided to take advantage of the early upgrade offer with my carrier (I'm on O2 in the UK) and after some research and seeing the live models in store, I decided to go with the iPhone 14 Plus (no upfront fee) in the yellow 256GB model. I'm very pleased with the phone in general and don't really miss the 120Hz refresh rate and the third camera half as much as I thought I would! Night shots on my iPhone 13 Pro were absolutely terrible. I'm currently on holiday in Blackpool and have taken some great night shots of the illuminations! The iPhone 14 Plus definitely much better for nightime camera use and in the daytime as well, I've taken some lovely photos today up at Cleveleys Beach! The speakers sound great, they pair great with AirPods and the audio through them is much better than of my 13 Pro too! The battery is great as well!! 24 hours later and still got some juice left which is a massive difference on 3 charges a day on the 13 Pro! I highly recommend the iPhone 14 Plus! 😀

I both have the iPhone 14 plus and the 14 pro max. I use the 14 plus a lot due to its weight and I love it.
I’m watching this video on a 14 plus. This phone does have the best battery life I’ve ever experienced. I normally rock the Pro Max versions of the iPhone but I wanted to try a non pro version last year. I’m pretty hard on my phone and it’s held up so far. I always run betas. I’m currently on iOS 17 dev beta 5 and still have a battery health of 100%. I’ve never had an iPhone’s battery health dip below 100. Maybe because I upgrade phones every year? I don’t have any major complaints about this phone at all.
Using the 14 plus, and the battery is just toooo amazingly good! Every day I spent 6 hours or 6 half hours and use only 50 or 55 percent of the battery, this phone is a beast, really recommend if you guys only care about battery 🔋. Love you video as always ☺️💜💙🧡

lighter to hold, well balanced, even with the silicone case. & as an oldie helps to have a big screen. Camera not too complicated… MagSafe is useful too & max GB size😊Maybe latest Sys software update has made volume quieter? -maybe I’m getting deafer? Vol is all over the place. Control dropdown & side buttons for vol still don’t sync… otherwise gr8. 💓 your vids, ta - J&🦜🦜

I switched to the 14 plus from the 2020 SE around 2 months ago due to my very poor and deteriorating eyesight I found that it was the best improvement I’ve ever done expecially for collage becasie it wasn’t as expensive as the pros and I could actually see the screen def a thumbs up from me

I bought this phone when Apple was having issues getting 14 Pro Max phones out. It's a fine phone for daily use, but I didn't realize how much I would miss a telephoto lens. I can't get good close-up shots of anything with this phone. I'll definitely be trading it in for a 15 Pro Max when they come out next month.
I don’t know with other countries but it is hard to recommend 14 Plus during launch in the Philippines when 13 Pro Max were still widely available. The brand new price of 14 Plus was close if not equal to the depreciated price of 13 Pro Max. There are some technical differences like selfie auto-focus, etc. but I would only recommend getting 14 Plus over the 13 Pro Max for the weight only.
I use a 14 Plus since this march and I've around 8hrs+ screen on time and surprisingly the phone has 99% battery health

I was going to buy the 14 plus after launch but due to issues with PWM I had no choice but to get the 14 Pro Max because I discovered that it’s the only model that does not seem to affect my eyes. In the end I am glad I did because I think they extra few hundred pounds are worth the extra features.

I have the 14 plus and honest it’s really great for my use case when I’m just listening to music it can last forever I swear it goes down obviously but at a really slow rate bc of the big battery it has but the size of the iPhone it really great it sometimes gets warm from gaming on it but watching videos or scrolling on social media is great the cameras are really good and honest I think of upgrading next year i will keep my phone for another year it’s just doing great my current battery life is 97% I use it daily and use the offices MagSafe charger apple provides so maybe the 3% loss is due to wireless charging but I’m not sure I would like to know tho😭 because it bothers me in the back of my head randomly
I actually know a few people with the 14 plus and they love it
The plus’s biggest downfall was it coming out late. When the 14 Pro Max launch was done and March hit I remember selling a lot more Plus’s more than the Pro Max’s at my job. People wanted to save money and the tech enthusiasts will get the pro always and at launch. Especially when the yellow color came out a lot of people came in to upgrade again. I would also push this phone on the elderly so they could have a if screen without the heavy weight.
I plan to buy this one in the upcoming days as here in Croatia prices dropped finally as iPhone 15 is announced.
I've had mine since January picked up my plus for $5.00 a month for switching to Verizon. It's OK not really a Apple or IOS person I like Android better just wanted to see what Apple offered and what IOS is about. Battery life is awesome , and I do like so for now I'll keep it as my side piece (Family Reasons) and my Nothing Phone 2 as my Daily Driver thanks for the video keep up the good work I really enjoy your videos.

I’m not a usual iPhone user, but I need it because my job depends on it and I asked the seller to give me the best model that lasts longer in battery. They gave me the 14-plus, and I’m happy for the purchase
I was all set to get a 14 Plus in Midnight at the Apple Reseller here in the Philippines (we don't have an official Apple store here), but then I checked out reviews like yours about getting the 13 Pro Max instead. I ended up getting a 13 Pro Max secondhand for around $350 cheaper than a brand new 14 Plus. One of the best decisions I made!

What is the issue?
I have the 14 Plus and I like it, but I wonder what the trade in values will be if I wanted to go up to the 15 Pro. I do want some of the newer features (Dynamic Island, AOD) but the Plus has worked for me and I've had it for close to a year.
I did come from the Samsung S21+, but that was more wanting to get back into the Apple EcoSystem. If I just look at the upgrade from an Apple Point of view, my last Apple Phone was the XR so going to the plus did feel like an upgrade.
To be honest, AOD drains a lot of battery😅

So I got a new yellow iPhone 14 regular model and coming from an iPhone 8 after having to change the battery after a year and a half, I’m hoping that because the battery is bigger the battery health will stay higher longer.
On both my iPhone 7 and my iPhone 8 it took six months before the battery health dropped from 100%
I used Samsung A53 for a year and when i say it was lagging… anyways i switched to iPhone 14 Plus and the battery is very good and i don’t really notice the lack of 120hz (cuz the A53 has it), yes the usb-c is missing and everything uses that now but the phone is very good.
I have a regular iPhone 14. After 10 months, it’s still at 100%( but a battery health app said my real battery health is 99.8 %. Still pretty good)

My wish for iOS17 would be for some of the battery life to come back and be prioritized. New features are fine but for someone that uses my phone for basic tasks I wish there was a way to go back to iOS 15 levels by removing some things.
I do have an iPhone 14 in purple since last year on Black Friday. It was my 1st one to opened the box for an iPhone. My last iPhone is the SE(2) in white. I never opened the box. I liked to used the older or newer cords towards it. I even asked the person at my carrier. If I didn’t get it purple and I would have taken in blue or getting iPhone 13 in pink. At first that I didn’t know how to returned towards the Home Screen. I’m so used to using a home button on an iPhone. It did took me about a few days to get used to it. I did upgrade a little bit in getting the Apple Watch SE(2) early this year. I accidentally cracked the screen on my Apple Watch SE(1) towards the floor. That one is in space grey which I really do liked. My newest one is in silver. I got the same size so that I can used my watch bands for it.

After owning my first Pro iPhone for the last nearly 8 months it would be hard for me to go back to a non Pro phone. The main feature that I like about the 14 Pro is the 3X camera, the other features are nice to have but it’s that third camera that I would have trouble living without now that I’ve gotten used to having it
Stingy Cook does not want to add 120Hz for non Pro phones, which cost 800 to 900 dollars. My Android phone which costed 250 dollars has 120Hz, so Apple is just stingy.

I Love my 14 Plus. I originally bought the 14 Pro Max in Purple but it never shipped and no Apple store within 100 miles had one available. So I cancelled that and ordered my 256gb Iphone 14 Plus and got it like 2 days later.

Had one of these for 9 months it was fantastic and had class leading battery
Only issue was I got bored of it, no bells or whistles. Upgraded to 14 PM which was an awful phone riddled with issue so now have ended up with an s23 ultra which I love to bits. I do miss my 14 plus from time to time though

I’ve had it since day one gonna keep it for years to come. I’m tired of blowing money on new phones every year.
I bought iPhone 14+ last December 2022, I still have 100% battery health. I love the bigger screen bc I wear bifocals, no issues viewing the screen without them. However, I do think my old XSMax iPhone had a better camera.
The 14+ to me feels like an upgrade for people who own the 6+/7+/8+. Don't need the Pro features but prefer the bigger sized screen without feeling like a heavy brick in your pocket.
I just switched from iPhone 7 to 14 Plus, and all I can is that its really good. The battery and performance is a lot better.

I got my 14+ for my birthday in red. I am new to Apple world but I have to say the hardware is amazing, the color, the beautiful screen and the battery life I love the most! But I have to admit after 5 years of using this phone I will go back to the Galaxy series. I don't like iOS so much. Lot of small annyoing things for me, although it works perfectly of course.
I got this for my mom after she dropped her Samsung and it broke. She loves it and she learned how to use it quickly!
I got my 14 pro max December last year and it’s already 94%. It’s a waste of money especially with such huge amount of money in the Uk for iPhone 14 pro max 1TB.
14 plus is a great phone in the palm of your hand. Great battery life but... I finally ditched iPhone and now back to android. I usually love the smaller iPhone mini or SE but oh man.. this Samsung S23 ultra is awesome in my hand. Way lighter but larger and not as heavy. Practical, easy to use, customization is just awesome 😎. My doubts since my very first android/Samsung.. and stylus is something that I am getting used to but yeah it's great. I have to say though.. ironically 14 plus battery feels like it lasts tad bit longer than S23 ultra. My two cents.
I have the iPhone 14 Plus and I’ve enjoyed it since it came out on release weekend on October 7th. I use this phone as my daily driver. I have 100% battery 🔋 health and it has 174 charging cycles on it. It’s a great all day battery and phone to use. I plan on getting the 15 Plus when it arrives in September.
Thats dumb why not wait for the 16 or 17 you’ll see a bigger better upgrade when u upgrade your device every 3 years or so . Upgrading every year you won’t see much difference that’s dumb 🤷🏽♀️
How do you charge your battery? I’ve had my 14+ since March and my battery is at 95%.
@@JenniferJohnson-fh8fx I charge my phone to 100% once a day and if my phone gets down to a certain low percentage I recharge it back up to 80%. I never let my phone get past 40% before I recharge it up to 80% . I don’t let my phone get too hot while charging and I do not MagSafe my phone without having it being cold, in someway, like a vent off of a car with A/C. Heat is the number one killer when it comes to batteries. I’m still at 100% right now with battery health and I have 184 charging cycles now.
@@JenniferJohnson-fh8fx I’ve had mine since launch, and my battery health is 100%. I use the standard 5 watt charger, and charge when it is between 20%-30 %.

Hi Aaron, my iPhone 14 Pro has overheating issues, scrolling stutter in apps like Twitter and Spotify, and it has touch lag in some games like Hit the Island.
Also, the daily battery life isn’t great and the camera has sometimes over processing and sometimes lag in-app. The Apple Store Employee said nothing is wrong besides maybe software issues, but the updates didn’t fix those problems (since I my first version that I used of iOS 16.3 until now in iOS 16.6).
Also I have my previous iPhone 11.
I debate if I should:
1. trade it in to the 15 Pro (since I prefer the Regular Pro size over the Pro Max and the it will have bigger and better battery life from the rumors.
2. Trade in my older regular iPhone 11 to a brand new regular iPhone 13.
3. Buy a refurbished or a brand new open box or renewed iPhone 13 Pro from either eBay or third party retailers.
Which option should I choose? Thanks.

Do u think I would be better holding off till next week, I here the 15 max will have a premium price hack though. I am currently on the iphone 13 so its usually a 2 generational leap that I DO am from the uk so the usb c type port would be the key for me but the esim my current provider does not support.
I bought one two months ago for about 550 at a pretty good price. No complaints here.
i personally use the iPhone 14 i wanted a smaller phone since isnt a iPhone 14 mini i bought the normal one. But if you like bigger phone why not the Plus
I have this phone and I love as I always say. I’m definitely the type to try betas. So that’s the only read I’ve seen a 3% dip in battery health. The two things about this phone that makes me wish I’d gone pro are camera and the dynamic island. But this year I’ll just go pro cause that’s honestly where it’s at.

Lasts me almost 2 days with how I use it.

Hi @zollotech :) Thanks for all the amazing videos and reviews. I've recently upgraded from an XSmax to a 14 plus and I'm really disappointed with the display. It somehow seems better on the XSmax. Colors are more vivid and the blacks are way deeper on the Xsmax. How is that possible? How can such an old phone have a better display than the iphone 14 plus? Thanks !

I'm torn between this and the 13 pro max. Also expecting Apple could sell the 14 plus alongside the 15 plus but cheaper.
My main phone is an android but I would use the iPhone as a secondary for work and certain personal things.
I dislike dynamic island but not having 120hz is a bummer.
