Guys I liked your reaction, but I'm assuming you are running your mics into a mixer and have fuxed with the pitch correct and maybe some other effects on top. Reverb and echo by sounds of it. Not going to lie it doesn't sound great to me. Hey, it's your channel, and you do you, but I'm just saying your voices really don't sound natural at all. Hey, maybe I'm wrong and I just got bad sound on this video for some reason.

The world recovered, but for people who suffer from depression are still not fine. Or, the world recovered and there is hope. Music is subjective so the meaning is different for everyone.

Awesome reaction. Like fawn said, there is a speculation this is a continuation to watch the world burn, at the end of that vid he destroys the world, in this one he is doing whatever he can to rebuild what was destroyed. It's an insight to an individuals life, they maybe going through what ever it maybe, it may be destroying his and/or her life...but, that life can be rebuilt, made even better and more beautiful.
Resort reimagined is connected to Watch The World Burn. When you watch both videos even though one is shot at night with some city lights just enough to light up the streets and other one is shot during the day with muted colors like it got incinerated by a firestorm the background looks or someone looks the same

The original reflects the surface emotions, anger and angst… Ronnie brings the real, deep-seated emotions behind the subject matter- pain, sadness and desperation.

I think Ronnie gives the text the right, worthy framework. The Papa Roach version is too rocky for the seriousness of the lyrics. That's exactly what Ronnie gets from this song, the pain and the struggle with and against evil thoughts. I keep hearing this song and it always gives me goosebumps. Surely only people who have psychological problems and fight against their demons on a daily basis can understand this. How often her mental world collapses and threatens to bury her. How many times do you think, "I can't go on like this" and fight your way out, only to find, over and over again, "Nothing's okay". But they still fight on every day. They resist to be buried under their collapsing world. The sad thing is that too many people lose this battle, ultimately running out of strength and being buried under their collapsing world.
