14-18 Rear Bumper Sensor Wiring Harness Conversion to 07-13 License Plate Lights

2014-2018 Rear bumper wiring conversion to 2007-2013 body style. The bumper is a direct bolt on but if the bumpers with parking sensors won’t plug into a truck that doesn’t have parking sensors. This video is showing you a way around that.

This conversion may be applicable to your case, but not in my case. I had completed the 14-18 bumper conversion onto my 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE. The 14-18 harness was a direct plug and play. No cutting and no splicing required. My entire bumper and harness conversion was done in just three hours. My only difference to yours was that I had the four rear park assist sensors that needed to be transferred over to the new bumper. The mounting holes did require the holes to be enlarged, which a step drill bit was used with success. I had also purchased the newer trailer combo plug, which was also a simple plug and play.

Yeah some trucks will be pre wired and have more interchange parts. Some won’t
