All my life my mom and my grandmother Biaggi made cucidati. I couldn't believe how tired I was making them but they loved to make them filled thick with fig and loaded the kitchen table with them frosted and sprinkled. I'll never get them again .God I miss my family them like nobodies business.
Beautiful! Very similar to how I was taught by my mum and nonna! I make them every year and am passing the tradition down to my 2 little granddaughters! Merry Christmas!
Nonna you are a genius. Our Nonna made these every year. Never wrote the recipe down. These techniques are only passed down through our Nonna's. Bouna Natale from our house to yours.
My Sicilian grandparents made this for us. Somehow it was so laborious that the recipe was lost. I tried to make it a few years ago but my mother said the dough wasn't right. I might try Nonna Pina's recipe. They look beautiful and just like I remember them.
Grazie mille, Signor. Not exactly the way my family makes them, but thank you for bringing back to me all the beautiful and strong women who made me, and my cuccidattu, what we are today. Buona Natale, e Dio ti benedriga💝
All mothers hands are beautiful 😂❤
Can’t wait to make them on my own. It looks delicious and you two work lovely together she’s very sweet.

Beautiful! My sicilian grandmother made these but in a log and then would cut them like cinnamon rolls and ice. My favorite❤

buy your mother some real vanilla extract - not the imitation. It makes a WORLD of difference.
