Hello Koushik, I have done a batch adsorption experiment using raw biomass, the removal is around 96% at 10 min and uptake is very less (9 mg/g). So is this result valid? , and another issue , while carrying out the filtration to seperate adsorbent and adsorbate, the dye (MB) is being adsorbed in the filter paper whatmann 1, is it that much responsible to affect the removal efficiency???
Thank you for sharing such an useful video on adsorption process experiment. May i know the adsorbency is it means we only need to check the blank using uv vis?
@@koushikghosh5509 How did you plot calibration curve , what did you vary and what standard you have taken, please do let us know, as because its important pre experimental step
@@SourodiptoOfficial Take 7 different ppm solutions of same dye according to your experimental range eg. Make 10 to 70 ppm dye solutions like 10,20,30...70ppm Take uv spectrum of all 7 You will get a absorbance value for all seven Draw a graph in origin concentration vs absorbance From there you will get slope

Good evening sir. I have no facility of water bath shaker. What is the other instrument that can fulfill the same requirement that a water bath shaker can do?
Very well explained thankyou sir
Thanks alot dear sir...insightful
Superb
Thanks 🤗
Nice sharing Koushik!
please do contact time or any other like initial concentrations,
how to conduct lab experiment for removing impurities from soil using biochar or adsorption?
how can adsorption test be done for removing impurities from soil by biochar?? can you help?
Thank you very useful
Thank you👍
It was really helpful for me
Thank you😊
Thnk tons ❤️🔥
Sir, after the experiment, how do I plot the graph
What's the advantage of using an incubator shaker to using a magnetic stir plate?
In magnetic stirrer at a time you can handle one conical and in incubator at a time you can handle more than one conical
Can we prepare this adsorbent sample at home?
bro in this experiment how m find that data is significant or not

Filter paper is affected on percentage removal..but it's negligible..for accurate result you chose column study

Conical volume =250 ml

Here we use methylene blue aqueous solution.

In calculation of Ce, we use Ce=Absorbency/slope. Here slope is from standard curve?
Make a graph between absorbance and known concentration ...will get a straight line..and then calculate the slope of the straight line
