So many people don't understand how much work goes into a car. You do this as a full time job and youre still not done. I like the show, I watch it everyday on my lunch break. Keep up the hard work bro 👍
my son watches typical gamer a kid that does GTA v mods and that dude bought a Lamborghini 2017 with all his you tube money. I think you deserve that Doug I will do my best to share the hell out of your channel,to help build more subscribers. keep pushing Doug!
Dude, full respect for what you've done here! No twisted engine mounts, coolant system and death star reservoir that works mint and now an alternator bracket with no freaking tensioner and the only squeals are from the fine RM. Sooooo keen to see this thing lay some rubber and rip it! Congrats on your success man!
This channel is better than any TV build shows ever and Doug is a natural, hilarious, loonatic with great talent! He should or will have millions of subscribers! Keep up the fantastic work!
i think i saw in an earlier video you have an INNOVATE wideband, i just wanted to say that if you have trouble with it, or trouble tuning it, i would highly recommend a AEM UEGO wideband, pre-calibrated, works better IMO awesome car, i love watching the updates, good luck. if you were on the east coast i would donate dyno time and tune the car for you since i do alot of MS tuning
i have become addicted to amplified! like i did with rafas mom! its not just about the car audio but its an actual show with content! i am currently in season 2 and back and forth with the new episodes. keep up the good work!
this channel is amazing.. deserves way more views than its getting.. way better than those other show off audio channels..mule will kick any Chevrolet Tahoe ass any day.. and all its 10,000 volts...lmao
I have two Mcintosh Amps myself with a set of Mcintosh three way components. I would never get rid of any of it. Car is looking good and will be fantastic when done. I'm in the same boat with my 64 Chevy II. Had it since 1997.
even though the passenger seat covers the amp, are you thinking about creating something like a beauty panel to cover the wires and stuff around the amp? just to have everything smooth/flat and mesh looking with the box
And thats why we have kids...runs in, throws down the Daddy hug...what a total sweetheart - Your giving me hope I can get my little girl into Car's bro. Thanks for the vids mate.
Nice video...you should make a custom declid that mimicks the 1958 bug declid and put some louvers to match the other louvers on the mule and use the 1986 Porsche 944 hatch shocks ,it would cover the engine and you can even make it removable.
I love car. You took a perfectly useful and boring vehicle and turned it into something not useful at all but really interesting. Perfect project vehicle, no trunk in front, no trunk in rear, two doors no cup holders. You are only driving it for fun. I'm interested to see if you like it when it's done or if you are more interested in the process of building it. I've enjoyed the process. It's great seeing it function again.
Boom! Thanks for the awesome content that you put out daily! One of the original subscribers here. I've loved car audio since I was in my teens. I wasn't old enough to see the awesome car audio days of the late 80's/90's, it's a dieing hobby...which sucks. looking forward to start my latest car audio project very soon. Your videos keep the spark alive for me..thanks brother.
this gives me the boost I needed, I got a chevy I'm completely rebuilding. just started me own business so I haven't had the time for my truck. this year I will!!!!
funny you are covering the Mules history. i was just watching old episodes last month and one that popped up was the episode you talk about getting Spoon to scrap the car after you took it's VIN.
been watching your shit for a few years now, you've definetly come a long way. i actually found your channel when i was doing my own system in my 07 tacoma and i was looking at how to get all the wiring ran in it. all the haters can say what they want, you've got really good editing skills on your videos and how you push out 5 vids a week i have no fucking clue, keep up the good work
I always wondered about that seat. and that floor pan. and that stero. and that dash. and those rims. and those headlights. and the rear window. I know it was a square back. didn't know what year. great job. good luck in the new year. riiiiiiiiiipppppppppiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttt.
love watching this build and I really enjoyed you going over the history of it and its mods. Do you have any pics of it from when you first got it? or of your old T-bird? love the show!
Thanks for the car tour! Explains a lot. Glad you fixed the alternator bracket ditched those shims. Cool exhaust. Can we get a tour of the wife next :))
Thanks for the history of the Mule. I think it's wicked because it's different and I like that. I'm sure by the time you're done with it it'll be awesome. Keep up the good work with the videos and the subscribers will soon be in their millions (providing you remember to cry and threaten to quit every week).
Thanks Doug for putting out a video 5 days a week, (HOW DO YOU DO IT???) Always interesting & informative as well as funny as hell! Keep up the GREAT work!
Hey Doug, you've probably seen this before, but a lot of subie's have powder-coated intakes. I've seen some powder blue ones that would compliment the alternator and license plate nicely! Great vid today, thanks.
I'm diggin the car man ..1 of a kind total custom hot rod. . Has a vintage look as well as a modern look at the same time ..bad ass system ..& I can picture your vision for the dash man that's gonna be dope ..

So many people don't understand how much work goes into a car. You do this as a full time job and youre still not done. I like the show, I watch it everyday on my lunch break. Keep up the hard work bro 👍

This channel is better than any TV build shows ever and Doug is a natural, hilarious, loonatic with great talent! He should or will have millions of subscribers! Keep up the fantastic work!
Do you have any old pics or vids of it while you were working on it way back Doug? I'd love to see the progression from pre-Amplified to now.
i think i saw in an earlier video you have an INNOVATE wideband, i just wanted to say that if you have trouble with it, or trouble tuning it, i would highly recommend a AEM UEGO wideband, pre-calibrated, works better IMO

Would love to see a outside vid of the mule while you ripping it. How is the ecu tuning now?
Thanks for the tour of the Mule, Doug. I had no idea it was so custom.
I have two Mcintosh Amps myself with a set of Mcintosh three way components. I would never get rid of any of it. Car is looking good and will be fantastic when done. I'm in the same boat with my 64 Chevy II. Had it since 1997.
I'm glad you broke it down. I would've never been able to appreciate the work that went into it. nice work man
even though the passenger seat covers the amp, are you thinking about creating something like a beauty panel to cover the wires and stuff around the amp? just to have everything smooth/flat and mesh looking with the box
Thanks for the longer videos Doug. One of the best parts of my day.
And thats why we have kids...runs in, throws down the Daddy hug...what a total sweetheart - Your giving me hope I can get my little girl into Car's bro. Thanks for the vids mate.
Thanks for going through the history of the car. Keep it, it’s one of a kind that you won’t ever see again.
I have a lot of respect for you for giving credit to the person who built the mule. Most would have just taken credit for work they didn't do.
Nice video...you should make a custom declid that mimicks the 1958 bug declid and put some louvers to match the other louvers on the mule and use the 1986 Porsche 944 hatch shocks ,it would cover the engine and you can even make it removable.
@ 15:25, love your self closing door. I was watching it without sound and saw you hit a button and the door closed, lol
Sweet VDub/Toy/Scooby, I like that you took on a project that most would have sent to a salvage yard and made it into something that you can enjoy.
The Mule is screaming for some CCW wheels!! Great job Doug.

So it's a 1965 VW, 1968 VW, Toyota, Porsche, Subaru? Now you just need an American car interior and your world tour car will be complete.

Dude, you owe the viewers a sweet burn out when you finish tuning the engine!!
been watching your shit for a few years now, you've definetly come a long way. i actually found your channel when i was doing my own system in my 07 tacoma and i was looking at how to get all the wiring ran in it. all the haters can say what they want, you've got really good editing skills on your videos and how you push out 5 vids a week i have no fucking clue, keep up the good work

Thanks for the car tour! Explains a lot. Glad you fixed the alternator bracket ditched those shims. Cool exhaust. Can we get a tour of the wife next :))
Is the steering wheel to the column interface loose, or just the column itself kind of worn out?
Well deserved bro....wish you continued success in 2017
Are you putting a engine gauge set up in the dash?
are you planning on getting a longer shifter or just lean forward to shift?
Great vid, lookin good.. can't wait to see how this dash turns out..

dmagin777 MDF = Legendary!!
are you doing some type of door panels on it at all? but looks hella good minus the crack in the ass of it haha
He said he would like to make them at the SEMA show together with his friend
Love the videos, are you ever thinking about making a skid plate to protect the engine, cooling system and the exhaust?
I think some full clear headlamp lenses would look great on this! Maybe a mori moto projector retrofit. Nice project car/truck/vehicle!
I know I'm late seeing this car but I love what you're doing. I've learned a lot about car customization from your videos
Are you gonna extend the gear stick ?
Ive been meaning to ask that too
it's got a good history you have done a lot of work man it looks nice as hell love the look I want to see the console done later
Nothing on what you plan to do as far as coving the motor with a hood?

Just keep doing what your doing, i get very entertained with your videos, ive seen all your seasons about three times......cant get enough!
Thanks for the history of the Mule. I think it's wicked because it's different and I like that. I'm sure by the time you're done with it it'll be awesome. Keep up the good work with the videos and the subscribers will soon be in their millions (providing you remember to cry and threaten to quit every week).
Doug when you going to stat your legendary f150 box?
Hey Doug is it uncomfortable to shift the gears it looks like u have to slouch to shift just wandering?
good video man lots of history, lots of work and hours put into it. did it originally have the engine in the back?
Thanks Doug for putting out a video 5 days a week, (HOW DO YOU DO IT???) Always interesting & informative as well as funny as hell! Keep up the GREAT work!
Havent read all comments in previous videos, but are you not gonna put some kind of hood over than engine?
MrMiqu3l Probably not because of ventilation for the engine, heat rises, hopefully that helps pal.
great video glad to know the story behind the mule. beautiful car one of a kind.
IM impress Doug an 18-minute video that's definitely legendary.
what's the name of that song at the end with all the mule shots, before the nay say?
Nice! Since I found your channel and subscribed years ago, I never knew the actual history of The Mule. Thank you.
The minitruck community needs to see this thing!!! You going to bring it out to shows eventually?
This is one of the best shows I've subscribed to in 2016!
Nice history on the mule...!
This going to bad ass, I'm an air cooled guy and can't wait to see this come to fruition
Why is there not shipping options for the iPhone dash kits!?
Does the mule have a heater and ac in it?
I can't wait to see what you come up with for the stereo in the F150 and the thunderchicken
Hey Doug, you've probably seen this before, but a lot of subie's have powder-coated intakes. I've seen some powder blue ones that would compliment the alternator and license plate nicely! Great vid today, thanks.
bto isn't the header lower than the oil pan? Idk but in the last shot it looked like it.
Turn the glovebox into a quarter condom dispenser LOL
