@@josephperkins4080 Yeah, the melancholia of Day Of The Dead's soundtrack is just intense - and so beautiful for it. It sets it completely apart from other Zombie films of the time. It really feels like the end of the world, but also something new is unfolding on the horizon. Day has to be my favourite zombie film of all time, actually.

I always thought this song was absolutely perfect for the downbeat ending of the film and the original trilogy. It was not until I heard it on here though, that I realised that it was a duet, as only the female vocal was used in the film credits, (On the copy I had anyway). That, and the extended intro, only serves to make it more beautiful.

Of ironies imo. It’s a bit happy but you also feel a hopelessness, a desperation. It fits the movie perfectly.
