That day, I was just messing around w/ that 1 line. I knew they were there so I layed it out, went to the other end @ half throttle and ran it. So like 5 minutes.
i dont understand, is there a law against using crab pots? i mean, apparently this form of fishing works but i would imagine many crabs dropping free of the line long before their caught. (technically good to prevent over fishing) but i wonder. can someone clue me in.
About 6, don't know exactly. I start trying to get all technical & exact It will hurt me in the long run w/this stuff, I just know where they fit. but I am pretty sure I made 2 lines out of a 1200' one a few years ago and that is one of em.
They were some decent crabs to
Used to use 1- 1000 ft. line in the Chester right near Cliffs City and would catch 1/2 to 1 full basket per run back in the 80's. Miss those days.

What are you using for bait, how do you attach them and how far apart?
Started to get aggressive at the end there. Lol
You was on a Roll 😎
Ive never seen it done like this. Here on the west coast we use a pot or a snare. Pot for commercial and the snare for use for fishing.
Omg! Love it! Can’t wait to go crabbin again! 😂😂 I watched you then ate my crabs we bought here in Delaware!! #Subbie4Life❤️
How many minutes did you wait after you dropped the line to scoop?
