Seems to me to be a very good teacher to experience, practice and internalize essential combat stratagems under his supervision.

Sensei, forgive my rudeness. Under whom did you study and which dojo? I am 73 years old and trained with Shinan Antonio Pereira at the Miyama Ryu school of judo and jujitsu. What attracted me to this post was the term of Tai sabaki, which I rarely hear these days. This pattern was one of the first things we learned before throws or arm techniques. Thank you for your response.

Hi Ray. I have studied under Stephen K. Hayes since 1983, as well as several Japanese Shihan. Also study four different sword styles. Have been running a full-time dojo since 2006 on Ohio, USA. 73 years young and still training. Fantastic!!

This is the stuff I'm long too learn I got nothing in my area only mma and bjj which I did and continue to practice I'm noticing horrible senseless violence , my band member and wife got beat up in front of their children they had just got home from work getting ready to go to bed and knock on the door the guy punched them and accused them of throwing stuff on their car which is ridiculous because they are not that way and it's impossible the guy's car was parked on the other side of the building which is a different apartment seeing seeing them was very painful and then me and the father who have children that are both my son is six in his son is six they play together you know and we ended up taking them to the park poor kids were shaking up ,
