I still like my old DMI tool bars and a lot of guys like the CaseIH ones which are pretty much a red painted DMI. Didn't know unverferth made a tool bar.
It's actually a blue jet ...they either bought out or made a joint venture with bluejet .... we ran DMI for used (red one) ...and in our tough clay, we had a lot of problems .. finally they updated them and they held up better to the edge bent shanks ...... good to hear from you! ...how's crops over your way? - we had a 50 year drought here - terrible conditions....
@@Blackearthexcavationandtiling we had a drought too but everything managed to yield up to par, we just got a 3 inch rain thank god, but it won't be enough to offset the drought. Need a snowy winter to say the least to bring back some moisture.
@@kolewiebensohn that stinks.... sounds like a lot of areas got roasted this year..... wow, that's a good drink ...only 1 inch here ... sounds like a cold dry and possibly early freeze out ... hopefully better year next year
@@Blackearthexcavationandtiling we can only hope as that's all we have left I guess, can't change the weather. But no more rain and wind for a week would be good so we can get our new shed we're building finished...
Nice toolbar ! Hopefully you didn’t get one that was made on a Friday afternoon. 🤣 Always appreciate your attention to the fine details about the equipment and explanations. Great videos!
I lived across the road from an IH / Case IH dealer... Remember seeing most new tillage equipment arrive like flat pack furniture from Ikea and get assembled by the local mechanics or the owners son.
Haha ...that would mess with them for sure! ....🤣 ........ we like the toolbar - but feel the fit and finish quality are lacking ... but we'll get it straightened out eventually
The joys of purchasing new equipment. I don't think I ever had a piece of equipment that you couldn't just take to the field without doing some adjustments. Thanks for sharing have a great evening
Exactly .. us either ... always something to adjust .. but adjusting is one thing, and completely having to redo because they made no attempt is another ... for what this thing cost, it should be way better set up and finished than it is .... workmanship was severely lacking on this one .... disappointingdisappointing.... but well get it, eventually..... sometimes easier to just buy something that's already been set and up and used a little .... hope harvest is going well ... thanks for checking in
Are you able to run a single tank, since it has 2 feed lines or do you always have to pull side by sides
Yes you can run just one ... just keep the valve shut off on one of the feeder lines. .. both feeder lines went to a Y that went into the super cooler
What are you going to put out Anhydrous or liquid fertilizer that is a nice tool bar
Anhydrous.... thanks!
I bet they didn’t find any imperfections in that check y’all wrote for it.
Lol.... actually haven't paid them yet ..and probably won't until they get it fixed (resolved)
