I’m excited for seeing this unit in action.
I just saw one of the Raptor strip till bars at the Unververth Kalida plant the other day while driving truck for them... I hadn’t seen one yet until then and I work for UM! Had it hooked to a big John Deere tractor...now I get a more in depth look thanks to Brian!
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!!
This is very exciting, new product reveal. Thanks for bringing us along.
Brian, nice Strip-Till unit. Awesome vid as always. Keep them coming. Catchya at the next one. Stay safe!!
Strip till bar is awesome looking Brian
Glad we finally got to see it
Very cool piece of equipment, the tech and engineering involved in agriculture is interesting to learn about. Thanks
I see that the cover is on the fertilizer barn, I didn’t see the live feed in the last video but it looks good. Like the strip till bar also, can’t wait to see it in action.
Looks like a great rig. Can't wait to see how this turns out
Great Vlog, Great machine, look forward to seeing it working
That thing is a beast! Can't wait to see it in action.
Great stuff, Brian.
Pretty good to see the improvements and technology used in agriculture these days. Hopefully this will help in efficiency and yields.
I’m impressed!
That's quite a strip till bar. Yeah, good idea to beef up the 9R. Waiting to see how it works for ya. Good to see the wrap or roof on your fertilizer building. Looks real nice.
The new poll barn looked nice.
Good to see them start making a strip till bar
Thanks Brian!! 👍👍
Wow, that strip-till bar is cool, have been anxiously waiting to see what it was and it didn't disappoint. Unverferth sure makes some nice implements, looking forward to hearing your review on it and hoping for some improved yields with it. Glad they chose you to do the testing for it.
Farming is sure going high tech remember when everything was done by hand. Sure going to help make your life easier. Great video. Thanks again
Great video!! I foresee someday in the future we will strip till fertilize and plant all in one pass
Looks a serious piece of kit Brian best of luck on your sowing season.,👍
Awesome!
Great awesome video Brian , nice strip till bar
The new fert sheds coming in handy already!
That thing is huge! Cool toy Brian!
Great video Brian
That's awesome that yall could be a part of getting a new property piece of equipment out to everyone.
Good Looking Rows.
Good looking right there ole buddy.
Nice setup, glad to see striptill taking off these days finally
Looking tight man. How sweet does it get? A star is born. Innovation man, that’s what makes America great.
Awesome video. Love seeing the strip till bar. Keep them videos coming 👍
Thanks for watching
Pretty cool setup, and even better that you got to work with them directly on it like you did. As for the wrap on the truck, the battery powered heat guns just don't have enough oomph to get it done. Might want to consider something like a soldering torch like you'd use to sweat copper plumbing together. Obviously don't want to burn it off (lol) but the torch may help loosen the glue up easier.
good morning brian, nice vlog as always and great content cheers.
Hello Brian , watching from Idaho keep up the good videos
Thanks friends 👍
Quality content. Great innovation.
What a Beast. Congrats
Great vid Brian! I'm impressed with that bar so far thumbs up to them! You finally get everyone off your ass about showing it lol.
Love the videos Brian watching from kalida Ohio home of unverferth manufacturing keep up the good work
Didn’t know that. I live near the Indiana border and close to the J&M plant, had no idea Unverferth was made here in Ohio...pretty cool
Finally got to see that stripper in action 😁 we absolutely love strip till in the south. We find it extremely beneficial, plus it looks pretty sweet stripping through 5’ tall cover crops......
Great bar.
Nice One! 👍👍
Honestly I thought that 9410 would struggle more but after a tune it will work great. We demoed a 16 row soil warrior strip till machine with a 580 quadtrac. We tested the strip till on about 1500 acres out of our 3500 of corn last year. Our main setback is time in the fall and spring . We have found that spreading on the nitrogen and potash and then using the field cultivator works better . But on hilly fields where erosion is a issue the strip till machine worked better. Not to many farms run strip till in our area. Our soils are heavy clay and silt . Keep up the good work and stay safe!
That strip till bar is unbelievable!!
That is a monster of a unit !
Glad to see the John Deere was able to give you what you needed.
Looking forward to planting.
God Bless.
Good video!!! Looks to do a good job and built heavy duty. Before you tune your tractor may want install an exhaust temp gauge before the turbo and a boost pressure gauge.
Better late than never! Great video it’s a shame we couldn’t see it last year.
Brian, you are getting very good at leading company reps through conversations on equipment.
you all probably dont give a damn but does any of you know a way to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost the account password. I love any tricks you can offer me
@Cairo Cory instablaster =)
@Abdullah Chris Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Abdullah Chris it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account !
@Cairo Cory Happy to help xD
That thing looks like a great time
Just got a strip of vinyl graphic to cover over the logo. You could even put your logo on it and cover up the Beck’s
Great video. Glad you don't have to keep the secret any longer.
Thats awesome. Bet a quad track would pull it no bbn problem 😄
Great video Brain, that Strip Till Bar looks like its really doing a very good job, I think it will get you those extra kilos per acre you need, be interesting to see this years corn crop Brain, Cheers for now, Best Wishes Trevor.W.Bacelli. Biloela Qld Australia.
Nice video 👍🏻👍🏻
There are rubber wheels that you put on a grinder that takes stickers off really easy. Of course you need to pay attention so you don't over do it.
Brian - great job with the video. Unerferth found themselves a good partner. Will give them a lot of exposure.
Looks like the strip till bar makes a nice seed bed.
Wallpaper steamer works great for removing wraps
Look into a wonder wheel I used one for removing the decals off a old ambulance it worked pretty good
So much excitement with the impressive strip till bar. Did you notice the roof appeared as if by magic on fert. barn....... ?
Love the Channel -your friend from Latham
Interesting setup
Lol all about the stripping , ,, couldn't help it
I hope you show tuning the tractor that would be awesome
Brian, In our area 3 point 12 row is normal. A lot of guys will run 12 row strip-till with a 12 row planter attached (with lift assist wheels) all off the 3 point.
We have had some good luck with a heavy duty pressure washer removing decals
Nice new toy
They sell decal removers at harbor freight there a hard rubber wheel that doesn’t damage paint they work pretty good
You can use a decal eraser wheel on a drill to remove that decal, might take a while
Dougo would be cruising with a 12 row for sure 🤣 good thing it doesn't have markers.
But seriously cool machine.👍
There is a primer you can put on the vinyl to help it stick. Any good commercial paint store will have it. The only thing it's not cheap.
Pressure washer or use a torch like you would use on copper for more heat.
nice green rig!
Awesome guys........
👍 🇺🇲 👍
Heat up wrap with a tiger torch on low for about a minute and the wrap should separate from the truck or can try a rubber wheel in a drill to remove the wrap.
Another good one men.
Thanks for watching
A great Ohio company. Looks like very well engineered piece of machinery.
For decals an ERASER wheel works excellent and will not damage your paint. Any good auto parts store should have them. Not sure if HF does or not.
The down side it will take several for a decal that size.
We were able to plant 140 acres of wheat here in MN before it started raining. It's been raining here the last 2 days & it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Then maybe more moisture beginning of the next week. I guess there will be no fieldwork for a while.
If u let it bake in the hot sun it will slowly come off. The vinyl that is. Love ur vids.
Unverferth Mfgr has out done themselves - KUDOS. It's common sense to fertilize only the 8" root zone, rather than an additional 22" of a 30" row. Be different if you cultivated the corn once or twice during the growing season to throw the 22" width of fertilized area to the 8" root zone area. As you found out last season's spring planting, you're going to have to run the strip tiller 18hrs a day to stay ahead of planting 10hrs a day. 16 rows of strip tiller at 6mph is 29 acres an hour. 24 rows of planter at 8.5 mph is 61.8 acres per hour.
With those wraps, sometimes they're "air release", just get one area started and shoot some high pressure air under em and that will lift them off.
Heat from direct sunlight helps remove vinyl or a heat gun
Will there be any videos that go more in depth about using the 3pt bar last year?
I though for sure you were going to say "you can see where it can quickly become a 12 when you snag at tree on the turn."
Thumbs up for Brian and leave a comment also.
There are grinder pads made for removing things like vinyl and stuff without damaging paint badly.
Show a close up of fert placement. Does it put it all in the bottom of strip or mixed throughout? Nice looking rig
Wish you could also plant with your strip til setup only have to make a single pass . New machine looking great . Do you also plant Milo ??.
Never got the chance to try one but have always been sold on the strip till concept.
Beck’s looks cool on your truck.seed consultants might not think so though
A steam pressure washer might be able to remove the decal or hot water pressure washer. I know you can melt paint off with one
You might need a torch to release a corner and then you might have to get a decal releasing spray then pull amd spray. Wraps aren’t meant to come off like regular vinyl decal.
Hey Brian keep your heat gun around 70 to 80 degrees and at the very edge use a plastic spatula at the tip and start peeling back going top to bottom with the heat gun and it should come right off
I suspect that's the super strong stuff, get a good corner too hold onto; and pull hard! pull really hard!!?
You need a heat gun that gets to about 600 degrees, I use a Wagner ferno, can also use a propane torch if you stay away and go quick. You have to get the glue to release, It still is a pain to pull off the longer it’s been on the worse it is to get off.
If the Becks vinyl is in good condition you could vinyl over it. If you just do a basic design it’s not too pricey.
For removing the wrap a steamer works pretty good
Good Stuff! Cheers from Florida! Tomatoes!
Should be a good one
