Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of the upcoming self-titled debut album from Generation Radio, a colossal new rock group centered around the combined talents of Jay Demarcus (Rascal Flatts) and Jason Scheff (longtime lead vocalist of Chicago), on August 5, 2022. Pre-order/save "Generation Radio" on CD/LP/Digital HERE: orcd.co/genradio Fans of classic AOR in the style of Journey and Chicago are going to absolutely lose their minds when they hear Generation Radio's stunning debut. In the beginning of 2020, Generation Radio came together with the intent to form a band with a purpose - to bring classic 80’s rock back to life. As their self-titled debut illustrates, mission accomplished! Two-time Grammy award winning bassist Jay Demarcus of the hugely popular country act Rascal Flatts and Jason Scheff, who was lead vocalist and bass player for the multi-platinum band Chicago for over 30 years, are joined by drummer/vocalist Deen Castronovo (Journey, Revolution Saints) guitarist Chris Rodriguez and guitarist Tom Yankton in Generation Radio. "This music is the best of all of us. Everyone in this band sings and contributes in a huge way. Jason is not only one of my best friends, but he is also one of my all-time favorite singers, and his performances on this record are stellar. Deen is among the very best drummers in the world, but he is also a world-class singer. In fact, I’m convinced Journey heard him with us, and immediately wanted him back in the band! I’m kidding, of course, but we were fortunate to have him on this 'journey'. Finally, Chris and Yankton are veterans and some of my favorite musicians and singers. Chris and I go back to our early days together in Christian music. It is a true honor to make music with people who you respect so much, and hold in such high regard," says Jay Demarcus. "My partner Jay [DeMarcus] had the idea to fuse Rascal Flatts with Journey and Chicago, so that's what we did. Jay had several songs over the years that he'd co-written, exhibiting all his influences. There was no surprise he listened to a lot of Journey and Chicago! Those songs became the catalyst for the band and we rounded it out with some songs written specifically for the album that were in keeping with that theme. There's no other way to put it other than when you listen to this record you will hear a beautiful blend of Rascal Flatts meets Journey meets Chicago, not to mention having the best of the best in the production, recording, and mastering department. A team of all current hitmakers," adds Jason Scheff. That non-stop Chicago tour schedule is a killer. The break away has given Jason time to deal with family and to breathe and explore so many cool projects. The golden oldies are great but after 30k times, I'm sure it is life-sucking. This is fresh and has been long-awaited.
This sounds like Journey, Toto and Chicago all formed a supergroup!! Amazing vocals and the band is outstanding! Jason, you knocked it out of the park on this masterpiece!! Fantastic job!!
HOLY SHIT!!!!! what a nice surprise when I heard this!!! Jason sounds great!!!! AWESOME song and the very best thing.....no Alessandro Del Vecchio involvement. How refreshing!!!!!!
What's so bad about that guy Alessandro del Veccio??😄 Never had heard from him, though I just did a quick search on Wikipedia! What's so bad about him???
@@JasonicaPR He is part of, producer, musician, singer, writer on many, many and many projects from Frontiers Rec, which give them no real soul, almost all sounding the same, sound-wise, and composition-wise too. No bad blood against him, might be a great guy, good musician and all, but everywhere and it ruins the magic some bande/project could've had.
I dont know about everyone else but thats exactly what I"m looking for when these kind of musicians get together. A song that sounds like it should have been released in the 80's and would have been a huge hit. I get the need to evolve but those songs never seem to catch on. This one definitely has that 80's radio vibe.
That intro by Deeno...superb. One of the best singing drummers on the planet, ever! What an awesome assembly of musical legends. It's great to hear Jason Scheff lead on some new songs; and the backing vocals are killer. What an amazing track from Generation Radio's debut album. And thank you so much Frontiers Music srl for backing and promoting Generation Radio - and for keeping this sound alive when most all the other labels have turned their backs on it. You are doing great things with keeping AOR rock and metal in production. Please keep it up!!!!!
Have you been under a rock for the past 36 years!!! Sounds as better as Peter in my humble opinion. I remember my dad playing all Chicago from 17 to 21. He’s a big fan and I loved all the stuff Jason was on still do at 47. Chicago and a Camaro 😃
Final boss of all super groups. This is absolutely amazing. Jason's voice is unforgettable and takes me back to all those huge hits by Chicago in the 80s. This will be the release of 2022 by a mile.
Deen Castronovo!!! Love the way his drumming brings such energy to this song!!! Without him this would be a soft AOR but with him this is a powerful rock song!!!!
This has to be the best album I've heard in years from a style and genre that has no expiry date yet faces challenges of airplay and exposure in the world's pitiful mainstream music outlets. Every song on this album is a bonafide Billboard top 10 hit and had this of been released in the halcyon days of great music then this album would of been a mega platinum seller . God bless you guys for coming up with this absolute diamond ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

a very elaborate theme, its lyrics and melodies with many feelings, a tremendous theme, the truth is that there is nothing better than the music of the 80s
This is so, so good! LOVE IT! Can't stop listening to it. I woke up last nite at 3 am and had this song in my head and had to listen to it again! Rock On!
This is the song today’s music industry is missing. As a kid of the 80s, he is Chicago to me (I know Chicago lead singers are a hot topic….but Jason all the way…and Bill Champlain 😀 ).
What a band! Jason Scheff’s voice is made for harmonizing! Incredible band. I absolutely love that the old-school iconic players are just killing it now. This is what I grew up on, and to see it making a comeback and sound as fresh as this does is inspiring. I’m telling everybody about this!
God what an incredible song! I miss hearing Jason in Chicago in the late '80s early 90s his voice is awesome can't wait to get my CD of generation radio

This song is FANTASTIC!!! A group of talented musicians on their own. Together, they are one heck of a powerhouse band. Cannot wait until the full album release!
I have been so bored with soo much music produced these days, however, Frontiers Music is giving me much hope with many of the projects that they have signed. Generation Radio with Jason Scheff singing along with the other incredible singers and musicians has inspired me to write and make music again. I have not been inspired in many years. Thank you Jay Demarcus for putting this together.
Great name for a band. The chorus is fantastic to me. It's totally absurd that this is no longer broadcast on the radio, and some new and modern songs are broadcast, which are totally devoid of emotion and in fact are not even hits. Anyway, a lot of things in the world are absurd... which doesn't change the fact that this is a great song!

Um, being a new song, isn't this bringing this music back?
Deen Castronovo and Jason Scheff sounding like the better times of Journey and Chicago. We can see notes of Toto too. Amazing! Amazing. And amazing!
