Bring back Shamu!!! I know theres a tragic story about the original Shamu but it's still nostalgic for people who grew up going to Seaworld!

This doesn't even begin to show the beauty of orcas....this is one of the saddest things I've seen. This is an 18,000+ lb sentient being who is INTELLIGENT being forced to perform circus tricks. You want to experience the beauty of orcas...go on a whale watching tour and see them in their natural habitat...not in a concrete swimming pool with blaring music.

This show shows the beauty of the animals in every way including their strength and other amazing abilities. In no way are these animals forced to preform. They do it because the enjoy it and have fun while doing it. Tilikum is a great example of this. On my visit to SeaWorld in 2012 Tilly was able to preform. I'm sure the trainers wanted him to preform to show everyone the massive size of these animals. Throughout my entire day i did not see Tilly preforming in either one ocean or shamu rocks. This proves that the animals there do have a choice if they want to preform or not. The music at the stadium is not as loud as you would expect. I cannot talk for the San Diego stadium, but i can about the Orlando stadium due to my experience there. The stadium there and the one in the video have designed their stadiums specifically for noise reducing. That's why both are open air to let the sound out, and for the Orlando stadium, there are hole in the perimeter if the stadium to let sound out. That and including sound travels horribly through water. By the time the music even hits the water it'll be difficult for it to maneuver through it, and most of it would reflect right off the surface of the water.

Not everyone can afford whale watching tickets.
And I wouldn't say sentient. Sentient involves many aspects of intelligence. Can they make fire? Do they have rituals? Ceremonies? Cultures? No. They do not.
They are, however, highly intelligent. Just not at a sentient level.

      I know right?
Some people don't get this policy. It's called 'Don't like? Don't look.' I wish people would exercise this more often.

first of all, don't watch the video if you don't like it this is a masterpiece. this shows what these animals can truly do. and second of all no one asked
