How long do you leave your cake in the freezer ? Do you bring it down to room temperature when you add the decorations?
After the final frosting I let the cake inside the freezer for 15mins then start designing it , when decorating done ✅, it will be in inside the fridge

Yes atleast 5 mins inside the fridge after smoothing each color
