This is pretty cool. That scene in "The Dirt" made me clap my hands and say "YEAH!!!". The movie already had me glued, but when the "Looks That KIll" video shoot was in it, it was game over for me. "The Dirt" is one of the best films this year!!! It really captured that debauchery, the attitude and the music.
Slippy Jones I honestly don’t remember this in it but I only watched it like the week it came out so I must have forgot. I was also really hoping they’d show us a long concert scene like they did in Bohemian Rhapsody though.
Enough so that they put both old and new in starting at 2:29 with Tommy Lee and MGK and it's very difficult to tell which is which. Video quality is the easiest way to tell and that's saying something. Much props to the actors in doing this. They did great in that the entire video, video quality is the easiest way to tell which is the recreation.
This is insane , the attention to details in recreating the original clip is unbelievable, the actors are amazing ...props to everyone who made this movie ....i wish there will be part 2
I’m gonna be honest I thought this was a remastered version of the original at first and I was like holy S**T that’s insane! This is a really good recreation. Props to these guys and The Dirt movie 🤟🏻
@@patricklaymon7519 yes, but there are parts of the video that are the actors from The Dirt movie recreating the original. I originally thought that this video was a remastered version combined with the un-remastered version. But it’s the original combined with the reenactment of it. That just shows you how good these actors recreated it. Its awesome 👏🏻
LOVE IT.....FIRST HEARD THIS SONG RIGHT AFTER IT WAS RELEASED IN EARLY 1980s.....WAS DRIVING BACK TO SAN DIEGO FROM LOS ANGELES, SUNNY HOT DAY ON INTERSTATE 5 GOING SOUTH, HEAVY LOS ANGELES TRAFFIC BUT STILL MOVING FAST IN THE FAST LANE, WHEN THIS SONG CAME ON KLOS LOS ANGELES RADIO STATION.....BLEW MY MIND, BLEW MY CAR SPEAKERS OUT CRANKING IT SOOOOOO LOUD.....UNREAL....THOSE WERE THE GOOD OLD DAYS, WE WERE YOUNG AND RESTLESS AND LIVING VERY FAST......
I grew up listening to Motley Crue always have loved this group and I have to say I am grateful to have grown up in the 70's and 80's 👍👍😎 wouldn't have it any other way
Artick well if you’re a fan the same age as he is then it doesn’t bother you, sorry for not being born on the right decade LOL 😂 truly! You’re going to have to make do with the new bands out there if you want to go see someone your age.
I love how they added the original version and the movie version! Gives everyone an intake as to how the video was made back then. How fun! Those men are still rocking no matter what age! 🤘🤘. Woo!!
Tom Wermin new how to get a good sound for them guitars and drums. His production of this album made it a masterpiece. Nickis songwriting abilities. And Micks guitar arangements
Mick Mars Most Underrated Guitar Talent Or 80's A sublime guitar talent who will never be considered one of the best guitarists of all time, Montley Crüe ... Rules ...
That happened in 1983 when his mother was sick or something. Doc was fired over bon jovi getting pyro when rule was no pyro for everyone. That was peace fest. Mötley punched doc and fired him. The movie dirt is literally just dirt... It's trash
I grew with you; you are one of my teachers of guitar; i saw this video in the 80; when on TV, in Mexico, in the frontier, Monterrey. Congratulations...
Love the comparison of the original video and the dirt recreation and the sprit of Motley Crue was so captured in the movie of which I seen numerous times.
To all the young fuckers out there , the eighties were the best time for music , the metal scene was exploding across the globe. The most epic re-creation of a music video ever
What is the original version?
@Taylor Cain the music video by Mötley Crue from 1983?
Is recreating music videos a thing?

Can we hoenstly just take a moment to appreciate how MGK mastered Tommy's mannerisms on the drum. It's perfect
DUUUDE!!!! I was thinking the same thing!!!
Hell ya!🍻🍻
MGK do a perfect Tommy
Yeah! That's true
Totally agree!!!🍻
I always tried to find a music video like this
The dirt version and the original version together
me to
Me to
So this is where the saying, “looks that kill” coming from?
Wsz8d😂🤩
Compared to the remastered, the original sounds ANCIENT

@Kim Gow I did grow up on Motley. From age 7 or 8 on. They've been one of my favorite groups for 30 years or so.
Right dude! I’ve watched it six times already, thanks Netflix.
This movie is so awesome 💗
@@CreamySenpai31 This song comes up in the scene where they start destroying the hotel
It's scary how close they are and how well the actors mimicked their mannerisms and actions in this!

Man I'm glad I grew up in the 80s.
“Oh, it’s beautiful.”
the most evil riff in metal history....
Still rockin' in March 2024!
That riff will be forever in metal history.
This is insane , the attention to details in recreating the original clip is unbelievable, the actors are amazing ...props to everyone who made this movie ....i wish there will be part 2
Well, the story does continue.
I wish the movie could have been longer
i can’t even imagine the work that went in to studying their mannerisms to recreate this… the cast absolutely killed it!!! like holy shit!
HELL YEAH, THE CRÜE IS BACK!!! Thanks to Mick Mars for inspiring me to play guitar and be able to listen to great songs like this one. 🤘
Mick is one of my favorite guitarists as well. I tune down a whole step, mainly because I like the chunky tone Mars gets.
same!

I just listened to the original video and it sounds SO OLD. I never realized the power of the remastered version until now.
Tommy Lee playing the drums makes this whole song so much more epic!
Brings me back to MTV days. Long live rock and roll & the 80’s🎸🎸
If only Vince sang like this again
How's that possible? Just enjoy the music and the songs as they are
