      It was done that way to encourage people to come to the friday night card (their weekly big show) instead of everyone just watching on tv on saturday

      No. They called him the "British Bulldog" because he could work the American style, he can work strongman style, he can work Mexican style, he can work German style. He can work _any_ style. *THAT* is why they call him the "British Bulldog"!! British Bulldog has been in wrestling for TWENTY YEARS. Since he was 15 years o-o-uh-o old!
