    I am very pleased with the information you have provided on the Aufero Lasers. It has really answered a lot of my questions and gave me great ideas to make it work best for my needs!

    Hi. Could you please share the rotary accessory settings you put on Lightburn software ?

    • @NEWTechCreative
      @NEWTechCreative  2 года назад +2

      Thanks for your comment @IceCreams62 . I used 100% power, 20mm/sec with 0.1 line interval. I didn’t change any other settings… I just figured out the circumference using diameter x pi then ran as if it was a flat surface with rotary plugged in instead. I drew a rectangle and used the left bottom corner as the ‘0’ point. Hope this helps 😁

      @@NEWTechCreative Thanks a lot for your reply. Which value did you put in the ''mm per rotation'' field ( 'roller diameter' * pi ) ?

    • @NEWTechCreative
      @NEWTechCreative  2 года назад

      I just left the settings the same as normal use and didn’t setup as a rotary machine in lightburn because the rollers move the same distance as the y mm/sec travel…

      Do you have the same Aufero YRR add on?

      @@NEWTechCreative I will buy a YRR 2.0 for the LM2 Pro 'old' version (not S2)

    Bonjour, merci pour vos très belles et très complètes vidéos ! Pensez vous que ces machines laser peuvent concurrencer les CNC traditionnelles pour de la découpe de bois de 1 cm ?

    • @NEWTechCreative
      @NEWTechCreative  2 года назад

      Thank you for your lovely comment. Yes this is comparable with a CNC, however even though it’s possible to cut through 10mm pine with the LU2-4LF version, it will be slow and I suggest looking into the new Lu2-10w laser module from Aufero if you want to cut faster!

      @@NEWTechCreative Merci pour votre réponse (j’adore vos essais avec un pinceau et la Cnc !) pensez vous qu’avec un laser 10W, la rapidité peut être égale à une Cnc classique en terme de coupe ? Que préférez vous utiliser ? Continuez, c’est super !

      @@philoara5647 I'm not sure on the specifics of the 10w module as I have not got one. I could predict that you will have to cut much slower with a diode laser compared to cutting with a spindle/router. If you are looking to have a laser cut at the same speed as a router, you will have to purchase a CO2 laser and unfortunately cant be attached to a CNC easily. As a comparison I can cut 3mm ply with a diode laser at 3mm/sec and can cut with a router CNC at 40mm/sec. I hope this helps. Thank you for your support.

    Hi, Thanks for the video.
    I'm planning to buy machine on the website. I did some research but I didn't find any review.
    Can you confirm that the website is genuine? Thanks.

      Yes they are genuine! They are an official reseller of Ortur/Aufero products and seem to have speedy communication. If you have any issues with your order, please keep me informed!

    What does the Lu2-2 cut?

    • @NEWTechCreative
      @NEWTechCreative  2 года назад +1

      I would suggest only engraving with the lu2-2 module, however I have been successful in cutting paper/thin cardboard, 2mm Eva foam and other thin & non dense mediums. 😃👍

      @@NEWTechCreative Thank you! This is helpful. Have you successfully engraved glass or ceramic mugs with it?

    • @NEWTechCreative
      @NEWTechCreative  2 года назад

      Great question! It might be possible, however I tried anodized aluminum and took a long time for a small area… I would stick to soft/ easily to burn surfaces with the LU2-2 or upgrade to the LU2-4 short focus lens.

      @@NEWTechCreative Ok thank you this is helpful. Is the LU2-4 SF better than the LF for engraving mugs? What about cutting wood?

    • @NEWTechCreative
      @NEWTechCreative  2 года назад +1

      The LU2-2 is a great lens for engraving and fine detail because of the super narrow beam. The lu2-4 SF is a great all round laser even though the focal area is thicker than the lu2-2 I can’t tell the difference until you look with a macro lens. I successfully cut through 4mm 100% pine ply at 1.5mm/sec with the LU2-4 SF. My trick with engraving is to have the laser 1-2mm closer to the surface to get a slightly out of focus beam and has a nice overlap and softness to the edges. The lu2-4SF lens is also a great for etching coated surfaces.
