I'm from the US, I've shown this to a few people I know and the common response I get is that it looks like a "knockoff Rolls-Royce." I just wanted to say that I find this brands' designs to be very unique and fun to look at, I especially LOVE the LED's up front. Interiornis spacious, colors are beautiful- if I could get one of these in the US I certainly would

If you got one of these, you'd better pray you don't have mechanical problems or need parts. It would have to be main stream with dealers to service it before I'd buy one.

....very loud engine.
These vehicles may be nice to look at, but they are so bad even the Chinese don’t want them. They break down to such an extent that owners just abandon them. There’s more to a car than just looking nice. It’s total crap.

Yes beautiful car and I especially like the door handles and it looks as though it has the most comfortable seats ever made. Could be a fault to be that comfortable for the driver.

I could really see buying these. I’m an investor, obviously I wouldn’t make money on the car but I spend a lot of my time trying to find things which are under valued. I think they understand the stigma of Luxury Chinese cars..I don’t care..they have to try much harder to compete. It’s a better value proposition than other options in the segment
The price is very good, however they do have 3 other models above this one, starting at the top, the L5 cost about a million USD and is mostly purchased by the ruling class billionaires in China, the last years model-L5 had a V12, the next below this is the LS7 this is a V8 twin turbo, designed for riders to sit in the back in ultra luxury or drive it like a King, next on list is the H9+ Sunflower edition, it is a sedan with unique Sunflower designs, etc.

personally, i dun care 2 hoots about "prestige" if a car is well made and is engineered to drive reliably? i am more than open to non "prestige" brands even if it falls under the luxury class if these conditions are met!

@@CarKid good luck and i hope you got the toyota Century, if you're unable to brought a new one since i heard theres a special requirements whatsoever, try brought the 2nd handed one..i saw several of em in website with low mileage
You can compare century with this brand.even the riability and durability compare to century is hardly 10% .
@@kazi258 where do you get the 10% come from? I owned Honda Acura for 13 years in total , and I switched to MB since 2009, owns 3 MBs now, MB's quality is better than Honda/Acura ( I had to replace transmission on 78,000 miles and speed meter at 101,000 miles for my Honda).

I'm not a badge snob but most Rolls Royce, BMW & Mercedes owners are.
The H9 looks awesome especially for the price.
However I very much doubt that it'll tempt a Rolls Royce buyer away from their current brand.
An H9 wouldn't be as well received at their golf or polo club etc etc..
A top of the range 3year old H9 at approx £30,000 would be a steal though 🙂

The design of this brand is a bit all over the place. The front doesn’t match the greenhouse. The front has an elegant design the side looks more generic.
Looks lika a mix of BMW 7 and a Mercedes S Class.

The car looks great, but if it costs up to $100k then there are a lot of great choices and reputable brands in the market.
But you’re guaranteed to be the only hongqi owner in you entire region.
It costs less than 100.000 USD. Here in the Dubai it cost 68000 USD. Very good value for this car

This is the Chinese Car/SUV that is being shown on youtube a lot.The Chinese public & Customers who have bought this Vehicle lately have tried to torch it,hit it with a big steel Hammer because it drove the buyer a few miles then it stop and won't start anymore. In China there are no Tow trucks that have chargers for the battery and after the tow trucks take it back to the dealer the buyer trys to return it and ask for a new one the dealer refuse the request and the customer asked if it could be repaired the manager of the dealer said it will take a few weeks or a month or 2 to find out what is wrong with it.
