- Spoiler: Endgame Footage
This didn't have to happen during the endgame. It just made it that more intense. This was the first time my kids were playing the endgame.
At 0:50 they paused the game because they were headed right for the angler fish. They were terrified, and wanted me to take over. I had a plan, and it worked.
And I learned the answer to the question: "Will the anger fish eat your ship it it bumps into it?"

I actually love the idea of this. Ship has been with you all game, every loop, every discovery, every death. Finally, as you're finishing everything once and for all, it sacrifices itself for you so you can escape and get to the Eye.
Poetry!
Oooooo! I like that.!
So like when Mario abandons Yoshi to reach the flag
@@A_combustible_lemonwell, the ship is not a living being compared to Yoshi so it's not the same. Not as evil.
Actually your comment gave me Shadow of the Colossus vibes
The pause of anxiety after seeing the teeth was great
The screams in the house when it ate the ship were great too. Too bad we weren't streaming at the time.
would have loved to listen to that lmao
Fun fact: Although they might not seem like it, each anglerfish is about the size of the Attlerock!
bro
It's not
Wait a minute, the ship doesn't make noise, so it hit the fish O.O
On my first attempt, I got attacked and the fish ate my ship but I somehow got away. It would have been epic if I didn't make a mistake in the code leaving me screaming while the supernova tore through. Losing the ship here feels canon
Cool, but that unexpected speed up made me jump more than the anglerfish ever did - never mind i just jumped at the anglerfish while typing this😂
Cool!
spoiler in thumbnaillllllllll
who cares
@@samdrow8268 every single outer wilds player
Without context, that image is pretty meaningless. New players wouldn't know the item in the main character's hands and the frightful anglerfish are openly discussed all the time.
People who haven't played the game wont even know what is on the thumbnail without prior knowledge
Straight spoiling the game via thumbnail.. like really bruh? Lmaoo not ok lol litterly just randomly popped up my feed. I already beat it but maybe think of changing it..
Litterly
Cry about it. The game is like 4 years old.
@@BandyPandi tbf, it's an entirely knowledge-based game, so spoilers are particularly damaging, but also it was inevitable that a came this good would end up oversaturating the zeitgeist
@@quantumblur_3145 4. YEARS. If you were REALLY gonna play it. You would have.
@ningaification are you dumb??? Like are you actually that naive?? I finished the game a Long time ago why the fuck would I be crying??? Huh???
Not everyone is a 24/7 gamer who plays every game when they launch some people Re just getting into gaming so why the fuck would people spoil and game that the while point of the game is to go in blind???? Tell me bud..
wow just straight up spoiling the game in your thumbnail and title. Really appreciate it dude. Please change it
Anyone who hasn't played the game wont even know what the thumbnail or title is about, they probably wouldnt even remember this until they reach this point in the game
@@yes-io3vt that's always what I tell myself when I spoil myself a series or game by accident "I'll forget it, it's alright" and then the moment something that could be a buildup happens. I immediately remember the full details of the spoiler
@@coolenestry8753 okay and? You spoil yourself by looking at things you shouldn't and suddenly it's the fault of other people? These are the types of videos that aren't for new players and usually show up after you have played the game and watched stuff like it because of the algorithm.
@@yes-io3vt you're literally just making things up
