I even enrolled in a decorating class but got bored with doing the same old decorations ALL the time but watching you do these cake wraps and the desert cup has made me want to try my hand at it again if I do it right no one will believe I did it, what a compliment that would be :) you are very talented and thank you for going step by step for those of us who may not be as talented as others.

While putting the chocolate on acetate, you said it has to be melted but not hot right? Is that possible to achieve? My melted chocolate generally tends to harden up as soon as it starts to cool down.
i wouldnt have the patience for designing ...it takes practice and time ....but you are just perfect at everything ...you can measure with your eyesight so accurately you dont need a ruler ....the practice and the time you put in is really worth a try ..nothing is as easy as it looks

Quick question - did you make the ring you're wearing? It looks like it was made out of silver clay and if you haven't tried using silver clay I HIGHLY recommend you take a class because it is so much fun.

could you just use a piping bag to pipe a nice flat layer of semi-sweet choc on the acetate, almost like flooding or top-coating? I feel like that might be so much simpler, also since you have a consistent tip size, you would have no sheer spot problem. There is also no way you would smear the white underneath!! ? What do you think?
Hey Julia, after the last success thanks to you, I want to do that as well, now i have a bit of a problem, I usually use a 26cm ring (just above 10in) and bigger. with the calculations I did it means I need something like 83cm (81.60 with some extra)- its around 33in, but when I checked my fridge even when empty I dont have that kind of space. Is there any way of doing it without using a fridge? Or is it for smaller cakes?
Hi Julia again absolutely beautiful one question though on the border in chocolate you let it set up ln the fridge but approximatly how long do you let it set so its still pliable? and won't smear when you a fix it to the cake? Thnx♡
