    Hi Julia,
    I've just found this channel and I usually don't make comments online, but I just had to this once. I use to bake cakes for my family and would enter our once a year cake contests at work. I even enrolled in a decorating class but got bored with doing the same old decorations ALL the time but watching you do these cake wraps and the desert cup has made me want to try my hand at it again if I do it right no one will believe I did it, what a compliment that would be :) you are very talented and thank you for going step by step for those of us who may not be as talented as others.

    I have seen a bunch of cakes in my life but this is just superb! Very stylish,not overdecorated, and elegant. Great job, I will maybe try it once, but not feeling brave enough at the moment :)

    I absolutely love the way you show us how to make cake wraps. Your very good at this. Thank you for doing training videos. I opened my Cheesecake business back in 2017 and self taught myself from watching videos and lots of practicing. Over the years I have created a large following and loyal customers that are so supportive because they see me getting better and better. It's very exciting!

      Yes I will imno bad in working with the chocolate .as a pastry chef I've to do it. I hate mess that's the trouble with me. If you can give me the recipe of your chocolate dough that would be great. I like the design.hope to hear from you again

    This is amazing! I never imagined something like that for cake decoration.
    You're an artist!
    Definitely going to try it. I just have one question.
    While putting the chocolate on acetate, you said it has to be melted but not hot right?
    Is that possible to achieve?
    My melted chocolate generally tends to harden up as soon as it starts to cool down.

    i wouldnt have the patience for designing ...it takes practice and time ....but you are just perfect at everything ...you can measure with your eyesight so accurately you dont need a ruler ....the practice and the time you put in is really worth a try ..nothing is as easy as it looks

    Quick question - did you make the ring you're wearing? It looks like it was made out of silver clay and if you haven't tried using silver clay I HIGHLY recommend you take a class because it is so much fun.

    could you just use a piping bag to pipe a nice flat layer of semi-sweet choc on the acetate, almost like flooding or top-coating? I feel like that might be so much simpler, also since you have a consistent tip size, you would have no sheer spot problem. There is also no way you would smear the white underneath!! ? What do you think?

    Hey Julia, after the last success thanks to you, I want to do that as well, now i have a bit of a problem, I usually use a 26cm ring (just above 10in) and bigger. with the calculations I did it means I need something like 83cm (81.60 with some extra)- its around 33in, but when I checked my fridge even when empty I dont have that kind of space. Is there any way of doing it without using a fridge? Or is it for smaller cakes?

    Hi Julia again absolutely beautiful one question though on the border in chocolate you let it set up ln the fridge but approximatly how long do you let it set so its still pliable? and won't smear when you a fix it to the cake? Thnx♡

    Would this still work if the cake covering/boarder piping is whipped cream or does it have to be buttercream in order for the chocolate to stick?

    I'ts amazing!!! I don't like buttercream, but I want to try this decoration, so... can I cover the cake with chocolate ganache? and whipped cream? I am afraid that the whipped cream will wet the chocolate and ruin the effect...
