You are the best teacher on RUclips. Subscribed you 3-4 years ago, but today morning, I have watched your video and easily learnt Decision Table just 3 hours before my System Analysis and Design Exam. Thanks Eddie !
+Eddie Woo I was struggling with this decision table and was searching everywhere for a clear understanding. I must say this is so far the best video and presentation that I came across for a very clear and unforgettable understanding. Thanks a lot Eddie...
I didn't expect the presentation to be this good! It was simple, explanatory, and I love your energy! I do hope you never stop with these videos. Subscribed.
So I have 60 legions [have worked immense overtime to grow new neuro pathways] which is a lot of brain damage. Though, the placement of brain damage on synapses and in which lobes is crucial to determine the types of side effects you’ll have, it’s still debilitating. My brain damage must have resulted in some delusion because as a ditzy gal growing up, I somehow chose software testing later on … 🤷🏻♀️ Ive sometimes felt like Elle woods from legally blonde in this pursuit but I’m here now! I’m preparing to write an internationally recognized exam and it’s required to understand and implement complex decision tables. Thank you for making this so easy to understand. You are highly appreciated 😊❤
Hi Eddie, thanks for the video man... I had a question - I have an complex tree (something with 50-60 nodes and each having two/three branches) - I am thinking of ditching the tree structure of documenting the decision making process (since I am not sure if I am actually covering ALL the cases...). Firstly, does it make sense for me to do that? Secondly, does that mean that as the number of cases/permutations go up, a table format is preferable for documentation to ensure I am covered on all bases?
Hi +Eddie Woo! Did you use Paint to draw i this presentation? I'm interested in your board. How can it draw things you draw like a large touch screen? And many thanks for your video. It helps me a lot. My teacher in Vietnam can't explain this well for me.
Great video for foundation building. Could you explain the following: Consider time represented as hh:mm:ss. Valid time is 00:00:00 - 23:59:59. If times valid, they are added to be displayed. Draw decision table & generate test cases?
thanx eddie so much for this video...i wanna ask u that if u have two actions like in your video you used 3, o can we simplify the table on the basis of their actions?
I prefer the Decision Tree, seems to be quick and sums up the actions, I would write a good review, tell my friends and not complain about it (same for the video)! ;-)
This is excellent however using boolean expression might be too rigid plus people are different each person will do things differently. However, for the sake of creating something advance, perhaps the need to capture audio for the many spoken languages plus sometimes users do not want to write or type. The same with written language perhaps field boxes so user can just freewrite and/or perhaps request additional space if there are character count limit. Lastly, is technical drawing and educational pictures. Sometimes the need to express things using schematic symbols, mathematical/computational equations, and etc. along with typed written language the reason is some systems need to be cutting edge. Sorry hope this help I was in Singapore, Korea and Japan and their systems are highly advance. Perhaps now I know why they that these countries are among the highest in math and science. But many programmers use a checklist to make things easier for the users plus the data is more controlled for querying and etc for easy reporting. But yeah I guess an empty field box would be nice since it might reveal something new instead of predetermined answers. But I just want express various ways to capture data someone who perhaps does not want to spend their valuable time communicating in controlled UI however might just give easier video or audio feedback since our PDAs can do capture naturally ways of communicating. Perhaps the future will be gesture inputs such as swipe left means bye swipe up ok I see a lot of this with VR headsets being added to smart phones.
You were able to explain something that was given to us in 70 slides and took 3 hours of lecture time within 8 minutes.... Thank you!

i love the way you teach, seems like you were born to teach. The calm and smile made it looked so simple
Very clear and good presentational style
I appreciate you breaking down both models! Also, for not making it boring :)
You've got a real gift Eddie, thank you so much! I'm in junior level of college, but still finding your videos very useful for Database Design class!
Cheers. Sincerely, 1st yr software engineering student.
I hope the kids in his class give him with the adoration he deserves.

Can we apply Decision trees in the Ontology based decision systems ?
Bravo

What kind of board is that????
nice thank you so much bro... God bless you
Smart teaching
Nice Example , Thank you soo much :)
hsc exam comming, this really helped thanks :D
how were you able to write on the screen? are you using multimedia projector and a camera?
ahhh i see. I am really wondering how it happened. I am amazed and thought if it was camera, it would be so real time. thanks for the info!
Thank u sir... its is very help to me
What is the name of the board you are using?
thanx eddie so much for this video...i wanna ask u that if u have two actions like in your video you used 3, o can we simplify the table on the basis of their actions?
thax a ton
very helpful...
Here in 2022 and i absolutely loveee the explanation
hey dude ur really a gud teacher kp up
U saved my xam !!
ThX so Much .
Thank you very much, very helpful ^^
Thanks for the presentation and how did you write on the board like that.
legend
sorry, I don't understand how you simplify it into three, is it because you can choose random rule to delete?
I prefer the Decision Tree, seems to be quick and sums up the actions, I would write a good review, tell my friends and not complain about it (same for the video)!

Great! +++++
thanks very clear
Thank you Sir
seriously that guy can make you understand how God exist
God doesn't exist. He's a man-made construct. That's why God and Jesus are never seen in modern times, only in books. It's fiction.
