I was waiting for you to show the City Park Snow Monkeys but you didn't show them, also Google maps is good for finding out what bus you need to catch and when you need to catch it.
Hi Brie, that was a Bennetts wallaby , they are quite common here in Tassie. Glad you enjoyed my home town. there are lots more places to see and things to do. you should come for an actual holiday. :)
Ohh good to know! Oh I want to come for a holiday so baddddd!! My dream is to road trip around tassie! You will have to let me know of your fav places for my next Launceston layover!
Love your videos. your honesty and the genuine experience. As a Tasmanian myself, currently living on the mainland but shortly moving back home, I'm so pleased to see your affinity with our Island (and to see that VA flies to Lonnie!). I appreciate that you are working and need to respect privacy, but if I could make one request it would be to see a little bit more of the onboard , crew and airport experience. Thank you!!!
i would absolutely love to do a video and show more onboard, but to be honest when i'm working i am just so busy i don't even have time to bring out the camera. also i think it would be seen as unprofessional! i hope you understand!
Bula Brie and greetings from my home town Launceston. You are absolutely right it’s important to be kind to people because you don’t know what is going on in their lives. And I’m pleased you feel you belong in Tassie. It’s such a divine place. Philip
The hotel grounds are beautiful. Yes there has been times when my leg cramps up, it’s basically you are deficient for potassium. If you eat banana it will be good. Did you get the same room the second day in Tasmania.
Oh my goodness, yes! My Dad's family are from Tassie, and I always feel like it's home and where I belong when I'm there, even though I've never lived there. And then I did my degree at UTAS (via online delivery in Melbourne), and my family declared we needed to go to Lonnie for me to graduate in person. Apparently we all needed a holiday as a reward! So I have my own connection to Tasmania beyond my Dad's family.
Beautiful, excellent production, interesting video! Absolutely love your content and delivery! Really amazing to get a glimpse at what it is like! 9:56 good night!
I had the same feeling of being home when the plane touched down in Malta for the first time. My father was born there. I wished he was alive to show me his beautiful island
Tassie feels like home to me as well, i have no family in Tassie 😂 i do have ancestors (convicts) but there is definitely something special about Tasmania ❤
wow Launceston looked stunning if you fancy sending some of the heat over to the UK it would be appreciated its dropping to 0c this week and loved the look of the hotel with Duckies on the grounds it sounds perfect
I feel the absolute same about going to Tassie, it's like home. Admittedly, most of my family lives in Hobart and the surrounds so I spent about 3 months each year there from when I was like 8 until 18. But it has always felt like home moreso than Adelaide does.
The Launceston accommodation gave me some serious Motel vibes, love the location, gorgeous grounds, and Kangaroo spotting, but the accommodation is gagging for a makeover 🤭. I've never been to Launceston, the city centre reminded me of Ballarat, love Victorian architecture 👍
Girl! I was just in Melbs for a layover and omg yes!! It was like 50 degrees lol and then the next day it was freezing! Melly deffs showing off the “four seasons in one day” 😂 I stay in Hobart tomorrow! I swear I am not stalking you lol it’s my first time in tazzie too ❤
Hi Brieana, Just wanted to ask before you had the cramps what did you eat/drink 24 hours prior? Usually consuming salty foods in combination with not enough greens can throw off the sodium/potassium balance causing night cramps. Things that can also throw off this balance is sweating and too much liquid diluting the sodium in the body. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the lovely little showcase of Launceston , I have only been to Hobart many years ago and I actually remember it being quite humid 🤷♀️ can’t wait to visit again - it was also really nice of you to acknowledge that you never know what people you meet may be going through - so kudos to you for taking time to mention that 🙏🫶
Hope you've been liking the hot weather! Tasmania is nice, great video as always Edit: Leg cramps could be caused by overexertion, dehydration or holding an awkward position for some time
Hello Bri- you may have strained your calf whilst squatting/training or lack of movement. Whatever the cause I wouldn’t stop what training methods you are using as you are looking great x
Hi lovely, i recommend you take Magnesium supplements They usually help with muscle cramps. I had the same issue not to long ago and Magnesium helps but ofcourse speak to your doc before taking anything xx
Top tip next time going to Launceston go into the Launceston city park & there's an free enclosure of Japanese snow monkeys about 30-40 of monkeys in the enclosure.
Slacking with your videos? From this perspective you've been crushing it ! Besides you don't need to apologize for anything :) Oh my looked so adorable there indeed! Ok Did you say 38 degrees C? UGH that's 100 F. No thanks lol. Hmm I'll call it a kangaroo :) And I will call this video another one I thoroughly enjoyed!
Hey Bri for layover is it full covered cost by airline and food etc and do you get to choose the accommodation? Also do you usually get a good break between flights? thanks for great video, excellent editing skills must have taken ya a lot time, what do you usually edit on and software?
Wow Great Vlog Brieana, Very good Footage too of Launceston PS Does Virgin Australia Choose your Layover Accommodation or do you Pick it yourself? And Should People who Have A Disability be Encouraged to Follow their Dream of Being A Flight Attendant?
Tasmania is HOME. It's why I have never moved away. Whenever I go away, coming home just feels so comforting, like a warm hug!
You are very luck it is your home! Beautiful place, I need to go again soon!
praying for your safety .. heard about the qantas emergy from auckland to sydney.. love ya😀
yes so crazy!
I was waiting for you to show the City Park Snow Monkeys but you didn't show them, also Google maps is good for finding out what bus you need to catch and when you need to catch it.

I would love more onboard stuff too but unfortunately most airlines will sack you if you’re caught doing that 😅
i would absolutely love to do a video and show more onboard, but to be honest when i'm working i am just so busy i don't even have time to bring out the camera. also i think it would be seen as unprofessional! i hope you understand!
Oh man, I just recently moved to Melbourne from my hometown of Launceston. I miss it every once in a while, and this video for me was pure nostalgia.
ohhhh it is the best!
Your vlogs are so beautiful and such high quality. This was so relaxing for me on Sunday morning after a hard week.
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching xx

oh wow that is cold!!!! keep warm!
2:35- I have had the same problem and you cant get out of bed to try and stretch it
yes stretching helped so much!

That’s so awesome you spend about 3 months a year there! How lucky! I would love to do a tassie road trip one day!
The Tasmania looks like New Zealand where I live. You could say you visited town in NZ hehe
Hehehe! It did didn’t it!
Totally agree!
Yay my home town! Just in the VA Melbourne lounge bout to head home on VA1382. I hope you are on my flight!
I have a day off today, hopefully next time! enjoy the lounge and have a great flight!
@@BrieanaYoung oh thats sad but thanks! Im headed back to melbourne on the 7th of feb on VA1365
It seems the windows open no more than 10 inches. Can you open the windows of the hotel room more?
That’s as far as they open!! 🙁
@@BrieanaYoung Thanks. Very interesting windows. I have never seen windows like that.

Thanks for watching them! Appreciate your support!
Cramps are usually because you’re deficient in electrolytes, especially if you’ve been sweating in the heat or from exercise.
Oh good to know!
Amazing vlog❤❤ what is the name of the song at 1:04?
i get all my music of the music licensing website called artlist!
Thanks for this vlog. Fly and stay safe. Happy 2913. Ciao.
Thank you! You too!

to be honest, i'm not too sure what i ate or drank prior! i haven't had them since so hopefully i am doing something right haha
Another awesome video 🙏 Try a good magnesium supplement for those calf cramps.
A lot of people have said this! thanks for the tip! :)

can you do an updated what you travel with as a flight attendent?
Okay I’ll do one sometime this year ❤️
Hope you've been liking the hot weather! Tasmania is nice, great video as always
Edit: Leg cramps could be caused by overexertion, dehydration or holding an awkward position for some time
It could also mean that you’re having a magnesium deficiency
Ohhh thanks for the tips for the leg cramps! Love the hot weather haha!

Magnesium is good for leg cramps
oh good to know! thanks!
Hi Bri! Do you cycle in the gym ? If not-try 20 mins on a high torque setting x
I love cycling ! Haven’t done it for a little while though!
Electrolytes are low that is why leg cramp’s being on your feet you should drink Gatorade before bed
👍
