I have never seen a bakery in my target and I’m always having a hard time to try the favorite day products because most of the time I’m disappointed but they always look so good. Thank you for the great review always helpful.
Lol it’s not an actual “in-store” bakery. It’s just baked products with a favorite day label slapped over them…

My Target doesn't have a bakery. I have a small Target just like Walmart. (It does have a CVS and Starbucks, however.)
I don't think I've even noticed these favorite day "bakery" items in mine.
Your Target has a CVS inside the building? Is it in its own corner like Starbucks?

You are so lucky! I haven't seen that since the one Target Grocery I used to live near in Ft Myers/Cape Coral back in 2007! A deli and a bakery is awesome!

The Cherry Crumble That Is
I have two Targets by my house. The one by my house is a smaller Target. It does not have a bakery or a full on grocery section (due to there being a grocery store in the same shopping center). The Target by my grandma’s house is much bigger and has a grocery area. They put some of the baked goods by the groceries but that one doesn’t have an actually bakery section. I know there’s a much bigger Target closer to Disneyland but I don’t remember if they have a bakery.
Hopefully we’ll get to visit a super Target one of these days.
Tami do you have any SuperTargets near you? As far as I know those have bakeries and also delis too! One of the few things I miss after moving from California to rural Ohio!

Have you ever been in a “Super Target”? Do those even exist anymore? 😂 I went in one years ago in Florida and I think they had a bakery! Maybe?
That’s what other people have said. The Super Target stores have bakeries. I have never seen one.
Other than the fact that it has mixed reviews the bars can't convincingly be 170 calories each if the topping isn't evenly distributed . I'm not a lemon person and that would hold doubly true without the addition of the raspberry .
Both of these sound great but they might as well just say a lemon cake for the iced slices lol

My niece tried the Cherry Crumble bars and it made her gag so much, it came back up. Her, and Kevin's reaction is why I will never, ever buy a Favorite Day product ever again. Super Targets have bakeries, but 95% of the regular Targets do not. My cousin Joan is a district supervisor for Target and I asked her about bakeries once.
John, the Super Target locations apparently DO have bakeries. This is what people are saying in the comments :)
@@TamiDunn Tami-yes-the Super Targets have both bakeries and delis. It's the regular Targets that don't.

You know how I feel about raspberry, but I may need to try these since they are more lemon. I love a lemon pound cake. I’m a little disappointed in the Cherry Crumble bars. I wish it had more Cherry. I agree, Target is spotty. I’m going for the raspberry/lemon cake. We don’t have a Super Target in our area, but they do have bakeries. We have 3 Targets in my area but no bakery. Great review.

Watching Tami try to logically and thoughtfully describe and explain the bars (to no avail) while Kevin is having NONE of it is hilarious. Sometimes Kevin will say, yeah, I can see that - it's not bad; just not for me. This time. NO WAY. I personally cannot stand the taste of red bean or chick pea things that are trying to be healthy or plant based! If I am trying to get something that is healthier or vegetable-y, I will skip if it says beans, chick pea, lentil, etc. I have only seen one Target with a bakery and that was in Florida and it was a huge Target grocery; they had tons of produce too (I have never found a Target that comes close to it ever!). Most only have groceries and a bit of produce and stuff, but not that huge. All the Targets I have had in my areas in FL, NC, IL, IN, TN have had a pharmacy. They call it CVS Pharmacy in Target. It used to be their own pharmacy until they were bought out by CVS for that part. On the pound cake, I would like it either way (if it had raspberry and lemon or just lemon) because I don't believe there can be a bad pound cake (and yes I would want to eat the icing all off too!). Of course, that is unless it is made of red beans or chick pea. LOL
they cherry bars were inedible to me. i could not believe someone okay-ed them. i actually returned them!
