Trooper's Narrative: On September 14, 2023, I was parked on Interstate 40 near the 249-mile marker running stationary radar. I positioned my vehicle to observe traffic traveling westbound. I observed a black SUV-style vehicle traveling at what appeared to be a high rate of speed. Using radar to confirm my observation, I detected this vehicle traveling at 98 mph in a posted 75 mph zone. After the vehicle passed my location, I pulled onto Interstate 40 and traveled westbound to initiate a traffic stop on this vehicle. I activated my emergency lights and sirens, but the vehicle continued traveling westbound at speeds over 90mph. As I closed the distance, the vehicle slowed to 60mph but continued to travel westbound on Interstate 40. I informed Cpl. West via radio; I was attempting to stop this vehicle. While still traveling westbound, the vehicle and I passed Cpl. West’s location who then positioned himself secondary in the pursuit. At this time, speeds were reduced which allowed CPL. West and I drove beside the vehicle multiple times in an attempt to gain the driver's attention. The driver however continued to travel westbound and never acknowledged our presence when we were beside her vehicle. The vehicle took exit 243 (Rest Stop Area) where it got behind a semi-truck which blocked the vehicle from traveling any further. I exited my patrol car and approached the vehicle due to being able to see the suspect’s hands on the steering wheel. While at the driver’s side window, I knocked on it and the driver looked at me but refused to exit. She then pulled her car forward a few feet more to evade my presence but could not continue to flee due to traffic being stopped in front of her. Commands were given for her to exit her vehicle multiple times but were ignored. Cpl. West used a window punch on the driver’s side window to allow us to assist the female suspect in exiting her vehicle. The window punch however did not break the driver’s window out completely and at that time I used my baton to rake the window creating a hole. This caused damage to the suspect’s driver-side window. The port in the window allowed entry into the suspect’s vehicle so that the door could be opened to remove the suspect from the vehicle. The suspect had left the vehicle in drive and would not remove her seatbelt. Cpl. West cut the suspect’s seatbelt and the suspect was assisted out of the vehicle and taken into custody. I then transported the female suspect to the St. Francis County Detention Center, where she was booked and charged.

They arrested her for speeding (they clocked her at 100mph or just under and she didn’t stop. She pulled into a rest stop but the 18 wheeler who’d been in front of her the whole time, stopped completely so she couldn’t escape. They knocked on her door but she didn’t respond at all. They made several attempts but she just ignored them, that’s why they broke the window and “assisted” her out of the car. The only thing she was concerned about was when they were searching her and a receipt fell out of her pocket onto the ground and she keeps squawking “give me receipt! Give me my recipe!!” It was fully bizarre.
There is a term to describe those who feel they fall under no authority and can do whatever they want. This lady even barked out orders after finally getting arrested.

I don't know what the deal is but we have a large Asian population in my NC town due to high tech companies. I've encountered a couple entitled females personally. A local police officer was ticketing a car that had been sitting, running, in a no parking zone. A Chinese woman came out and started yelling as if someone was peeling her skin off. She jumped into her Acura SUV and drove off. The officer took after her and she pulled in front of another store and walked inside leaving her car running and illegally parked again. This time the officer went in after her with a female officer and they had to drag her out. She kept screaming "I don't have to listen to you! I did nothing wrong!"".
A lot of Asian people don't give a fokkkk about laws, they only care about themselves and will say: I done nothing wrong, you target me because I'm Asian. I hear this $hit many times. They'll walk all over you and scream....discrimination.......fokkkkrs!
This is very common in Chinese culture to be distressingly self-centered and narcissistic. Sprinkle in a little racism for anyone who isn't chinese, and a move to the West, and you have a huge population of one of the second most unruly and uncaring people we have to deal with in civilized society.
Jeez what did she have on that car, bullet-proof glass?!?! I've never seen cops have so much trouble breaking a window before! Thank God that at least she got her receipt (lol)
Automakers are increasingly using laminated glass in the side windows of cars for safety and sound-dampening. Same as what they do for windshields, which is why it won't just shatter from a punch tool or baton. You'll see it for 2020 or later model years.
They need to get that window breaker that all the criminals in California use to bust the window out to rob vehicles of everything...... They seem to get in within seconds. So find out what it is and get you a bunch of them...... What the heck was up with the suspect though.... Very strange behavior.... And what was up with her vehicle? They were questioning/commenting about it but couldn't really hear what they said... Big props to the truck driver for helping the troopers out by blocking her.....
@@apexerman1finally someone got it right! NHTSA in 2018 began requiring laminated front side windows to prevent ejections. Center punch doesn’t work on that. Rear window will still shatter because it’s tempered.

We went to Arkansas a few weeks ago & I hoped I would get to meet a trooper, not in official capacity you understand, I wanted to shake their hand & get a selfie with them. I really wanted to meet Trooper Brandon Byrd but I think he only works up in Northern Arkansas. I watched him help a very disoriented old man stranded on the side of the interstate in 17 degree weather. He had run out of gas, had no coat & no shoes so Trooper Byrd put him in the back of his Trooper car & took him to the next exit & went in & explained the situation to the desk clerk, paid for the room with his own credit card & told her the man had a brother 2 hours away that would come get him next day. On top of that the man yelled at Byrd that he was driving to fast & he needed to slow down cause he was scaring him, lol. Trooper Byrd was honored at some big state banquet & given a big nice plaque for going over & beyond the call of duty. So he's my hero & I hope to see another one like him.
My absolute favorite thing about vehicle pursuits is that even the high speed ones, most of them will still signal turns and lane changes so law enforcement can prepare! Lol

Who is the Trooper? I watch a lot of Arkansas Troopers because they are fair but tough & don't put up with no crap.
