T La Rock was that dude!! Very underated, but true hip hop heads knew the deal! LL should be paying T La Rock royalties for the whole style and swag! Real talk!!!

Never heard LL mention T La Rock, but you can definitely hear the early influence. Look at Lyrical King and B.A.D.'s album covers. They even dress alike!

...dig deeper? Remember, T is Special K's (Treacherous 3) older bro...and of course, Treach 3s' main lyricist was Kool Moe Dee...LL had dethroned KMD for the Lyrical Chip (🏆) just prior!!!

good to know bro, the people in the Old School circuit will be happy to know you are still about and doing well. My son is 8 and I get him into hip hop by playing the old stuff on RUclips. He heard It's yours and his mind was like "Damn!" Bro, you should hit me with your facebook page so the DJs I know can get with you and know you are doing alright.

@tlarock: greatings T La Rock! Could it be that the original version of this song is of Crush Cold? I've got an old school vynil of the sugarhill records and it contains breaking bells from them. I'm asking because a lot of my fauvorited producers used "the bells" in many great songs and i'm searching the original one! thank you
