Nice vid, really well filmed. There is a video out there changing one of the blank switch covers on the4 dash to a USB socket. That might be a nice touch to use that USB plug you have rather than have it in the glove box. Also, I've been suffering a parasitic drain and so I pulled and disconnected the stock VW radio/cd and that stopped it so I might well have a short within the stock unit itself assuming a cable short would have let the problem continue. The reason I mention this is you may wish to measure any current draw across the main fuse socket for the entertainment unit (take the fuse out) to ensure that when the vehicle completely shuts off, it's not drawing anything. Just as a check. It means that if you ever have an issue with these units, you know how it should behave if all is good right now. If however you see a draw (with the vehicle shut down) then you can see if it's a minor one or a problem one. Just a suggestion.
They have them in ove box so it can be locked up and keep ipod or iphone Android phone secure if just nipping shop or what ever it stays charged and out of view from theives
Hi, i have the same van with same dash model. Planning to get a 9" like yours instead of a 7". How does the sides look like? Does it fit seamlessly between the back of the radio set and the dashboard? Thanks.

Also, just to say, looking at the website link, it looks like it's both wireless AND wired android auto (your description only says wired).
What year model is the VW Transporter?
nice video, where I can buy this brackets??
Link in description, thanks!
@@pluscenter I see the link to the radio but not for the brackets :(
@@ReverendoTV from china…search for ‘hand tool set 4pcs car stereo radio removal tool’
Thanks bro
Can’t see which way the tools are inserted. I think they are curved on one side!!
Якби я так встановлював радіо, то в мене б були поломані руки
Я тоже так подумал. Согнул кронштейны и тупо запхал. Жесть, малейшая ямка и торпеда рыгнёт этой магнитолой в салон)
