I look it like this: let's say you have two heavyweight prize fighters on both sides of a tournament. On one side, you put a heavyweight in a bracket with lightweights. He gets a cakewalk to the championship bout. On the other side, you put the other heavyweight fighter in a bracket with heavyweights who are equal to the other two. It's a coin flip every fight. Anybody can win on that side of the bracket any given fight. So basically, all the dude on the lightweight side of the bracket has to do is win one heavyweight fight to be crowned champion of the world, while the guy on the other side has to win four heavyweight fights to be crowned champ.
How is that fair?
