- We got our hands on the new Aero Precision Breach, both the Large and the Small charging handles. We compare them to each other as well as to the Geissele charging handle as well as the old Aero Precision Ambi Charging Handle (which we kinda hate).

Killer. I just bought a Breach second hand and was worried the guy had sent me the small instead of large handle. At around 8:25 or so you described the size change from small->large on the large handle and then large->small on the small charging handle.

It’s all about how big your mitts are! I just purchased two large Breach charging handles and for me, they feel a little too small. Other than that, the quality of the Breach is exceptional!

Did my research on charging handles. Was on the fence between Radian Raptor and AP Breach. Because of your video, pushed over the fence and ordered three AP Breach large. Got them on sale. Going to replace all AR15 charging handles. Can't wait until they arrive. Thanks very much!
I am going with the Aero Breach with the larger lever. I think an added benefit is the taller back ridge that will help redirect gas coming back into your face. I don’t have the Geissele but have always read that it does the same (better than the Radian).

Ya, checkout our latest Charging handle video where I show the Radian Raptor SD. It's the best handle for gas issues by far that I've reviewed.

Best Breach review and comparison!! I have a ACH and just picked up a few SCHs. I am going to try to get my hands on one of each small and large hopefully soon! Not a huge fan of the radian raptors compared to GEISSELE!

Thanks for the video, I just recently picked up the large breach for my Aero M5 build. However, you are correct with the basic Areo Ambi charging handle, my finger slips off too
I just bought a full EPC-9 parts set to do a build. I got their basic charging handle for now but I have many local shops that stock many brands. I 100% agree about the efficiency of an ambidextrous handle. It was unfortunate that the Breach was out of stock when I was buying.

I've been tolerating the standard, right handed mil spec charging handle on my Sig M400 for a couple years even though I'm vision impaired in my right eye and have to shoot left handed. I FINALLY ordered a Aero Precision Breach and am very much looking forward to having a more lefty friendly firearm. Especially since the M400 is marketed as having ambi friendly features anyways but Sig neglected to make the charging handle ambi for some reason.
what is the thickness difference between the AP small latch small, the large latch, and the milspec? I am trying to see if the the small or large is closer to milspec.

@@EpicGunTime I saw one in a gun store near me. It was interesting but I think the store said it was made for the bright desert and not normal lighting or indoors.
The Breach seems to be the most robust.
I just bought the small one for $60. It can't be any worse than the regular charging handle

Just purchased and installed my new Aero Breach large handle in my AR. Absolutely love the feel and operation. Your video review is an excellent comparison on the charging handles. Aero got this one right. 👍👍. . Have a question.. When you rack the bolt back around 6:30 I hear a zipper sound. Is that your BCG or the spring and buffer. I have a Toolcraft nickel boron BCG that makes that sound when I insert in the upper receiver. I didnt like it so I changed it to a Faxon Nitride BCG and now it's smooth and quiet. Safe Shooting my friend.
Tired the Aero Breach small....think I like my Geissele ACH better. The finger hook pull feel more natural.

Geissele SC (wide) or Geissele Airborne
Or
Radian Raptor LT or Raptor Ambi
I have a 403R HS optic so no scope or anything in the way, but love big wide CH lol
I’ve had all three. Preferred the Geissele SCH over the airborne due latch size. Radian isn’t bad but I like the ergos and size on the Geissele more.
If you are going suppressed, I would checkout the Radian Raptor SD
I just ordered two large handled breach, there on sale rite now for around 50 bucks online. Cant bewt two of those for the price of one geissele. That being said i do still wanna try a geissele out at some point.
I just ordered the large breach charging handle for my pistol build. That old Aero charging handle is ugly looking. Good job on the video and good job Aero on the new charging handle.

Large if your running a supressor. Small if your not running a supressor. Also put in equation if being used with gloves and vest. 🍻
