I remember coming home from work with my wife in the backyard with this playing. She had all the neighbor kids, along with our two sons, dancing in the sun. I lost her a couple years ago but have 33 years of great memories with a wonderful woman. Everytime I hear Don't forget me, it brings up a great memory of my beautiful bride with our young sons who are now in their 30's. God Bless
This is a Glass Tiger fan using my sons account for now and I was upset this song never went to number one here in America. Theyre talented and deserved to have a number one here. I am happy they won their well deserved 5 Junos!
Funny thing is the first couple of times I heard this I could have sworn it was George Michael singing, and so I had thought it was Wham! But nope, this new Canadian band called Glass Tiger. Oh, and they got Bryan Adams to sing on it. Cool. Interesting.
now i know what that type of beat is called! shuffle! thank you i learned a new thing today that i have been trying to figure out what the name of for a long time! cheers glass tiger!
Met these guys in the airport in Miami when they were first starting out they were headed to Orlando to play at Disneyland stuffing their faces with hot dogs and sodas grabbing a quick bite super nice guys though

This song was so popular, there was a global simulcast of the song played live on New Years Eve '86
The soundtrack of our lives all in this channel!
Great stuff
Wow, went back and watched the old MTV video for this - a cross between Miami Vice and MC Hammer.
This was the first cd I ever bought.

I remember this song so well. Just starting Junior High, so catchy. Bryan Adams did great on backgrounds.

Why didn't It go number one?. I'd love to know.
Wow, he (Alan Frew) never lost his Scottish accent.
Why didn't it hit number one in usa
Do they do one of these for "I will be there"? That's probably my fave track off of TRL,aside from TRL of course.

Check out the Canadian video of the song. Its epic. You'll know what I mean when you see it. Enjoy in advance!
Always thought this was a combination rip off of Waterfront by Simple Minds with lyrics based on "Don't You Forget About Me."
Steelbreeze-You Don't Want Me Anymore
4:01 What are the reasons why it didn't?
haha, I noticed that part too! there must be a whole scandalous backstory on that....record label politics maybe? Billboard hi-jinx? who knows!
Had no idea all these years..they were 'scottish?.... Wow!>....always just assumed they were from Canada. go figure...
Canadian band, and Alan grew up in Scotland.
They are Canadian they're from Newmarket, Ontario , Canada. Alan Frew is originally from Scotland.
Everly Brothers not Isley Brothers

Back to middle of the road top 40 huh oh well .... sigh
What the heck! I thought this was George Michael's 😯
LOL. I did, too, at first. Alan Frew sounded just like George Michael on that record.
And a one hit wonder if it wasn't for Bryan Adams.
If it's no Scottish it's crap!
i laddie!
Brian Adam's wrote this song don't be foolish
