That rasp is courtesy of Bryan Adams believe it or not!!!!!! I saw Glass Tiger myself in the 80's as a youngster in person and I've loved their music ever since. Want more Glass Tiger???? Where do I even begin????? LOL here are some of my faves ~ My Town (with Rod Stewart), Diamond Sun, Someday, I'm Still Searching, Thin Red Line, Animal Heart, You're What I Look For, Watching Worlds Crumble (beautiful piano playing in this one), I Will be There, Far Away from Here just to name a few 🥰

At approximately 4:18 you hear a new voice come in on the backing vocals... it's Bryan Adams. Some other good Glass Tiger songs are Thin Red Line, Diamond Sun, My Town, Someday and (Watching) Worlds Crumble

When this song came out I was in junior high. I loved it specifically for the horns. I played trumpet and picked out the notes so I could play along when it came on the radio. 😂

I loved this album, and I wanted to see them in concert. They were opening for Journey! But, alas, I was pretty young, and they weren’t coming anywhere near my hometown. I really like their songs “Some Day” and “The Thin Red Line” from the same album. “The Thin Red Line” (the title track from the album) is much more exciting and inhabits the border between wave, pop and rock. It’s wonderful

Hey Rob Squad! I know you did the Scottish band Big Country earlier, but one cool thing about these guys is that the lead singer of Glass Tiger IS ALSO SCOTTISH! He was born in Scotland, and moved to Canada in the 1980s, and that's when Glass Tiger formed. These guys are WICKED to see live, and you EVER get the chance, I HIGHLY recommend it! You have to dive into their rabbit hole! They have so many hits, it is impossible to not find a banger!

April Wine was one of Canada's top bands in the late 70's early 80's....... though they had several hits,,,,, you should listen to Just between you and me......its a great song when you're in love
Glass Tiger played at Valley East days that September near my place ....was $100 for a ticket ...I would have paid that 30 yrs ago ...not when they're older and not in their prime .....I did hear they put on a good concert

Other good song is Someday. As Canadian band, that voice if you didn't recognize, was Canadian legend Bryan Adams, who let them open on his Tour in 80s. Saw them in concert, could see they were friends, many of my favorites bands are Canada ones, check out if haven't Honeymoon Suite, if you watched movie Lethal Weapon, they sang the title song. Great singer and guitar one, thought of them being Canadian Tom Petty or Journey. Started in 1984 with New Girl Now and Burning in Love, then next album got famous with Feel It Again, What Does It Take. Then 3rd, Lethal Weapon, Other Side of Midnight and my favorite, Love Changes Everything, good on any play list!
Rush, Loverboy, April Wine, Triumph, and Heart, band started in Seattle, but sisters grew up in Vancouver in 60s, just above Seattle. You'll like all bands if haven't already..
