I can clear it up. These are saponified. Meaning, if left under water, it will be destroyed. They’re naturally made, not with chemicals that make them last.
This is also about how long mine lasts, you just gotta take care of the soap after you use it and make sure it’s not in contact with water, it also helps to dry it off after use and put in a dry spot.

I’m a soap to body kind of guy, so far it’s lasted me a little under two weeks. It might be because I use the soap instead of my hands but I didn’t even think about drying it so I’ll definitely try that out!
It’s important to either use a soap gripper or a soap saver when using soap, it dries out soap quicker and won’t linger in contact with water, because that’s what makes the soap disappear quicker.
Yes agreed! I actually put it in a soap holder in between uses outside of the shower so that extra water would not wear it down as it splashed on it. Lot of people in the comments say that their soap only lasts 4-8 days. But I think they leave it in the shower in a spot where a ton of water will hit it and make it wear down fast.
I use these all the time, a single bar will not last that long, unless your actively changing between other bars, which you are doing, quit lying... With two showers a day using the same bricc, it will be gone in 3-6 days at most. Also consider some people actually wash themselves TWICE while showering with these briccs, like me for example.. For us these briccs do not last a month.
@@CrystalApex well it does for me, started werewolf wash on the 28th of November and barely looks like it's halfway done, I only need one big lather around my body for both my showers in the am and in the pm.

I wet my washcloth in the shower, and put the bar on the wet cloth, and work it till cloth is soapy. Bar is kept away from shower spray. The bar fell into bits on day seven, with one shower a day.
I usually shower about 15 min. When I used just the bar or address a rag the soap didn't last long. But now I use those brush scrubbers and now each bar is legit like a month longs use. I'd say it's worth it. I love to keep them stalked. I tend to put other ppl on game with Dr squatch and give them out here and there to some fam and friends. I'd recommend it.
I take two showers a day with my bar and it lasts way longer than that. Just don’t leave it under running water. You’re supposed to shut the water off lather and then turn the water back on and rinse it off.
Me personally, I loved pine tar other than the grit. I like grit, but I don’t like it being made with whole oats. I had it last about a day because I stored it wet, kind of to get rid of it. The water it was in smelled amazing though. The scent was awesome. 10/10, other than grit.
I take a shower every 2 days. Showering every day is bad for your skin. It dries out all the oils that hydrate your skin, then your skin gets irritated, then youll get eczema, its a nightmare. Clean with hot water, rinse off with cold water. Sooths the skin. For the longest time i used a combination of irish spring and old spice bodywash/shampoo, and the skin on my arms and legs was always dry. Ever since i started using squatch, my skin feels smoother, exfoliated, and generally more healthy. Same for the deodorant. Im a big boy, so i get sweaty fast. And my pits? Dont even ask. I tried all the deodorants available at walgreens, walmart, you name it. Nothing really worked for me, not for over a day at least. Squatch deodorant is the best choice i made so far. A deodorant that actually SMELLS GOOD, and lasts for a couple days. They won me over, never using anything else. I never felt more cleaner and more fresh.
How would yall recommend having it last as long as possible? My girst bar lasted about 8 showers since it was my first time using it which was a medium grit. I'm currently my 2nd bar and bought a soap gripper and saver(not from dr squatch themselves since those are expensive) to try to make them last longer. The first 2 days were amazing since I noticed the size of the bar not changing at all until today(day 3) where I saw the bar be half the size it originally was
That's pretty good for a handmade natural soap. It also depends on how much hair is on your body. More hair, more friction, more bubbles and it will last for less days, in comparisonto someonewith no or less hair on body. Weird but true 🤷🏻♀️ Letting your soap dry does help a soap to last longer.
I agree, some people in the comments said I’m a liar and their soap only lasts 3-4 days, while other people said their soaps last longer and that I’m doing it wrong lol. I did store it in a soap holder outside of the shower to let it dry so that helped like you said.
Ive tried several. Im not sure ive tried the juniper. At this moment im usung the Peppered Patchouli and im liking it. I recently purchased Barrel and Oak brand Mountain sage which is Citrus and Juniper and Black oak which is Bergamot and black pepper.
gonna tell you how to make the soap last longer right now, get a nice loofah, wet the loofah and soap and rub them together for a little bit and then only use the loofah. It will lather your entire body from head to toe if you back off from the water a bit while you do it. Bar can last several months doing it this way. Just be sure to get a loofah that is not overly aggressive.
Mine last a tiny bit over a month because I use a loofah, it goes against the whole point of having grit in them but I don’t really care I use them for the smell. I just got pine tar in a box for Christmas and I’ll most likely use that just straight up on my body because it wasn’t my favorite anyway (didn’t hate it) and I want to experience the heavy grit that comes in it
I got some of these soaps over the holidays and they smell extremely wonderful but the quality and the longevity of them is down the toilet as soon as it starts getting a quarter inch then it crumbles and falls apart all bad for old drains
No I think some just last longer, what is actually weird to me is that some other people in the comments say that their soap only last 3 to 4 showers somehow.
I get between 9-11 showers with mine . I keep it outside of the shower after I lather it up on a rag . The green Star Wars soap lasted about 8 uses it’s soft and the pine tar about 12 days. However after it’s small and breaks in half I used it at the sink to wash hands with and get another week out of it that way. Many factors involved, blink complex both to water and temperature of water. I never get 15 days use out of it I would just say average about 10 showers? It seems like the lower grit soap wears out quicker and the higher grits outlast the longest from what I have found but I could be wrong? I have only tried a few varieties I always have about 10 bars available
Its an amazing soap but if you fully enjoy the product and really lather up like in the commercials etc there is no way it lasts above a week. I find pine tar one of the softer bars and i will get 4 good showers (soaping up the whole body 2x each time before the bar gets too the point its thin and splits,at this point i use it just to wash my face before a shave etc). its an amazing line and i only use squatch soap, shampoo and deodorant but i think the longevity of a bar advertised is based on very very short showers and seems way off even with some of the harder bars like bay rum
I legitimately set a timer on my phone. I got about 5 days. I’m going to try taking it out of the shower area, where it’s dry, after I’m done. Admittedly, I enjoy my showers, which are 10-15. Maybe that’s also a factor?

@@a180combatbowsergamepro6 Hey I bought it on the website, looks like they sold out already, they seem to sell out of their new launches pretty quickly. But you could probably still find it on other sites.
How did the bar get thicker on day 8?
I shower everyday so I really don't monitor it like that,I just use it
Use a sisal soap bag it will also make your soaps last longer
I wet my washcloth in the shower, and put the bar on the wet cloth, and work it till cloth is soapy. Bar is kept away from shower spray. The bar fell into bits on day seven, with one shower a day.
Depends how you use it and it last the least compared to every other bar I've tried from them
Almost 3 weeks is solid, I can normally only get to 13-14 days before my bar starts breaking in pieces
My bar usually last roughly about 2 weeks 8$ every two weeks isn’t bad in my opinion i like the soap
I Love Dr. Squatch soaps 🧼😊 I've found the medium and heavy grit soaps last longer than the zero grit.
I shower for under 5 mins a day and honestly get 5 days out of it.
how tall are you it seems to be person to person experince im 5'9 and it lasts me like a month but my buddy who is 6'3 lasted a week
and also soap melts in hot water so don’t use boiling hot water. what i fo is get it wet with cold water and stay out of the water while cleaning.
I take two showers a day with my bar and it lasts way longer than that. Just don’t leave it under running water. You’re supposed to shut the water off lather and then turn the water back on and rinse it off.
That's wild bro😂
Weird but true 🤷🏻♀️
Letting your soap dry does help a soap to last longer.
I agree, some people in the comments said I’m a liar and their soap only lasts 3-4 days, while other people said their soaps last longer and that I’m doing it wrong lol. I did store it in a soap holder outside of the shower to let it dry so that helped like you said.
OH yeah I also thought of that I'm not a hairless cat I'm closer to squatch himself lol
I got like 5 loofa bags in my shower so I can use different scents for different days. That bag will do the trick and the soap always keeps it’s shape
I switch between squatch and a regular cheap bar each day to make it last longer
Ive been using San francisco soap companys Man Bar soap. It will actually last 3-4 weeks taking a a daily shower for about 10 minutes.
Which man bar soap? My favorite man bar soap is the cardamom juniper it’s amazing.
Ive tried several. Im not sure ive tried the juniper. At this moment im usung the Peppered Patchouli and im liking it. I recently purchased Barrel and Oak brand Mountain sage which is Citrus and Juniper and Black oak which is Bergamot and black pepper.
My briccs usually last me up to a month a piece which in my opinion is well worth it.
This music its so cool 👌
The song is called Apple Juice by Stan forebee
@@mens_essentials Thanks!
My wood barrel bourbon lasted about 14 showers (without soap gripper). Pretty good in my opinion👍🏻
Is that a nice smell? That's the bar that's good me curious the most. Thanks.
@@staytrue5307 It smells very good man, I recommend birchwood breeze as well👍🏻
About 5-6 washes but you have to let dry or it will be less. I mainly use it as mosquito / bug repellent in the mountains/ river.
gonna tell you how to make the soap last longer right now, get a nice loofah, wet the loofah and soap and rub them together for a little bit and then only use the loofah. It will lather your entire body from head to toe if you back off from the water a bit while you do it. Bar can last several months doing it this way. Just be sure to get a loofah that is not overly aggressive.
Duke cannon is superior, I was really rooting for the squatch too.
I cut mine in half. And once I get down to a sliver, I toss it in a mesh soap bag. When the bags, full of nubs, I use it.
Mine last a tiny bit over a month because I use a loofah, it goes against the whole point of having grit in them but I don’t really care I use them for the smell.
I just got pine tar in a box for Christmas and I’ll most likely use that just straight up on my body because it wasn’t my favorite anyway (didn’t hate it) and I want to experience the heavy grit that comes in it
I cut into 4 cubes. Get exactly 5 washes per cube. So this is accurate to my usage also
I got some of these soaps over the holidays and they smell extremely wonderful but the quality and the longevity of them is down the toilet as soon as it starts getting a quarter inch then it crumbles and falls apart all bad for old drains
I bought 3 different varriants , and i use a different one each time , best thing you can do . I use them for a solid 3 and a half months
Good idea, do you store them outside of the shower when you don’t use them?
@@mens_essentials i let the dry a little bit up in the shower , after that i put them in a case
Mine lasts like a month or two and I shower everyday. I don’t know how yours went down so fast does that I mean don’t shower enough?
No I think some just last longer, what is actually weird to me is that some other people in the comments say that their soap only last 3 to 4 showers somehow.
@@mens_essentials alright good thank you
I get between 9-11 showers with mine .
Thanks for the informative comment! I'm going to test out a non grit squatch soap too, just to see how long those last.
Use a loofah! Mine lasts me like 3 months🤷🏻♂️
this is soo accurate cus i got my bf some cus don't get me wrong it smells good but it goes quick
My Alpine Sage lasted well over a month...
Im on day 13 and I got bouta week left of it. Pretty accurate
Last one made it 2 months, only because I don’t shower everyday lol
Don't tell nobody else that
I know I’m not the only one who crushes the soap bar into a ball when it gets thin
I legitimately set a timer on my phone. I got about 5 days. I’m going to try taking it out of the shower area, where it’s dry, after I’m done. Admittedly, I enjoy my showers, which are 10-15. Maybe that’s also a factor?
Use a loofah! Mine lasts me like 3 months🤷🏻♂️
I typically buy huge bars of soap at marshals and they last forever. not really but i've been using the same bar for 3 mos now.
It lasted a few monthed for me but i used a soap saver and cut it in half sometimes 4ths.
How do I make it last this long?
This is what I did to make my dr squatch last longer: ruclips.net/video/2kotPAWZNo4/видео.html
Holy I might have to call the po po for soap abuse
Wasn’t it proven a LONG TIME AGO that it’s not made by Dr starch that it’s a marketing drop ship company?
I forgot what manufacturers name is but they sell to swatch who repackages it
My 1st bar last for 1yr just sitting in the box it came in wit.
Cut the bar in balf and you get 40 days per bar
Mine only lasted 2 days because I shared it with the whole family plus we have a pond in our back yard where the bar floats all day until the fam jumps in and starts to scruba dub dub
I got it to survive for 4 months
I put it in a bar soap scrubber and it lasts a week and a half to 2 weeks.
And that's if you use it everyday people saying it last only a week but it really last months if you have more than one bar and if you take like 15-25 min showers and if you don't drop it💀🙏
Five days it lasts about a week if you’re showering with it
Have you tried it with the soap saver?
I'm going to do a test with the soap gripper or holder from dr squatch, just to see if it lasts even longer.
@@mens_essentials The nice thing about the Gripper is that it have enough hight under, that it to acts as a Bar Saver board.
Ima keep it 💯 with yall did you see that duke cannon in the background???? Get that duke cannon destroyed sqatch on every level possible
I think less washes is a fair trade for the quality anyway i dont see what people are complaining about its only £8
It started to look like a beat up wallet😭💀
