- The tropical rainforest in French Guiana is an exception in Amazonia: it has been relatively untouched by mankind, and its lush forest cover still stretches over 96% of the country. Its nature is very unknown by men. But Olivier Dummett, who is collecting cacao deep into the forest to make his own chocolate, and Mmimiséku, who knows all the medicine plants to heal his village, are two exceptions, they guide us to enter into this unknown land.

such an incredible, wonderful nature forest, who gives and is healing.......💚🙏
I hope one day to travel and enjoy this wonderful planet and meet many of its inhabitants. Seeing nature up close and personal like this must be quite a feeling and living in it must feel even better!
These lands shouldn't be photographed.Extremely beautiful, preserved and intact.Man out of curiosity explores but his followers destroy it.
Have you ever observed the harmony exhibited in a rain forest among the flora and fauna, where traditional indigenous people live? As soon as so called western / white man civilization enters the scene destruction and pollution of the environment sets in, as his lifestyle does not foster preservation of the environnent, but to ensure its destruction.
This is the beautiful forest. Great living in this area.

I feel that. Can’t get enough of Slice! But it was exactly to the point and didn’t draw on too long. It covered what it set out to cover. Maybe there will be another part.

Interesting video depicting forest life. They have skill to make medicine from plants and it's abstract. Exploded many trees useful in preparation of medicine
Great job and loveable video keep it up.
How can someone live somewhere for thousands of years and one day some yuppie punk with a piece of paper comes and says it belongs to him??????

You need to make longer video of indigenous people of forest
I love forest healthy life. My country Singapore got nothing 🥺 only condominiums
Very cool
Scary to think peoples from Africa were snatched from their native land to be enslaved and brought to that isolated forest to process cacao. I know it was frightening.
native land? you got jokes.
@@cinnamonstar808 no sweetheart, it was a joke when you were birthed.

Olivier looks exactly like my cousin Kiko but with a longer nose and the second guy just straight looks Southeast Asian. Why do South Americans often look like someone from SEA? Crazy...
All Native Americans came to Americas over the Bering Strait (in more waves) from Asia.
All along I am wondering what is "Ca/Co" until I saw it 🤣🤣🤣 I've never hear that pronunciation before.
