I think anything over about 8 hours starts to get to me. I often wear one to work and then change fragrance in the evening so it doesn't work for me if I can still smell something the next day... I also don't want to change my clothes every single day. 🤷♀️ I never realised how long lasting nor strong Coco mademoiselle is until I owned it! It's one I choose my time with. Bohemian is also very big! I agree 😂 Date with a Dame is gorgeous and Ambre nuit too. Ambre nuit lasts several days on me 😂 but only sometimes 🤷♀️ I guess I must stop smelling it sometimes? I don't know! BR540 is probably the longest lasting fragrance I have ever experienced and I have a little glass vial of the extrait that I don't even like to touch because even that causes a massive cloud that hangs around for days. It really requires some specialist handling.
Yes BR540 is definitely an eternal scent and it does kinda creep up too. Coco M is rather massive isn't it, one of them that grows on your skin too, it's a very lovely one but not the easiest of wears all the time 🤣. Yes I'm not one to want to only smell of one thing for days on end

Great vid. BR540 hate on me, enjoy off of others and although its everywhere now its better than people smelling of sweat, weed or food. I could not smell the edp or the extrait first time I sampled them, but when adam sprayed them on yes i could smell them. He loves the stuff
Yes I agree there, though some fragrances are worse than human smells 😂. Definetly not my favourite fragrance but it is nice to smell about. Not all day everyday everywhere we turn 😆
The first 2 mins had me *very nervous*. Given your rough, Northerner pronunciation of ‘last’, who knows what made your list of things that ‘last’…. 😂 The other fabulous thing about Portrayal Woman is the realistic cigarette smell in a perfume marketed for women. You rarely find that. It’s always unisex or male marketed products with the risqué notes. I hope the new creative director doesn’t curtail that open mindedness in perfumers on future releases. Also I like the BR extrait more and it’s less tenacious than the edp in longevity. Smoother too. But some people like the edp because it’s more chemical. Scent wise of course.
Yes Br540 is a interesting beast, it's on thing I admire pre LVMH MFK his boldness and brilliance working with synthetics and naturals. Or creating things like BR540, not the cheapest toxic waste going, real perfumes. Now they are owned by them 🙄 well we all know where they are going. Yes you're right actually about Portrayal. They've kinda pretended they are not gendered now but still use the two bottles and describe their fragrances with words such as "feminity" and "masculinity" 🤣 I suppose they tried. I fear for Amouage this new French fella is definitely not making anything exciting, let's remember his first release was a sub par flanker nobody asked for... And the Endless Extraits and generic new one don't fill me with excitement. Maybe it's why they are thinking of selling up parts? They realise the mistake of letting Creative brilliant Chong go. Now there's a brand where they "lasted" 🤣 and were blooming interesting and exciting, not just goop... But everything dies, even the best perfume brands

Well "Bad Girls" from Sarah Colton is a very fun read and more of a prose style. Neil Chapman's "Perfume" is great and "Perfumes the Guide" by Turin & Sanchez is very good. I think they're all easy and accessible. And thank you 😊 yes Dr Claire is fab isn't she
