This is very eye-opening about the UK. The similarities and differences between UK and France are interesting.. More please! I make videos from France I should probably share what people should watch out for before moving here.
re: rent - are you talking about London ? It's not representative of UK. London is only maybe on e fifth of the UK population. You make all these assertions but you should mention what the locations is. Tax ? Yes, it's gotten quite high, but less than some other European countries. It depends how you want to pay for the police, military, nuclear weapons, schools, hospitals, doctors, roads & all the rest. Not all of us want all of those things but most people would want or need most of those at some point. So we don't have police resorting to corruption, demanding payments from the public etc.
I did mention that “it depends on where you stay” when I spoke about the rent plus it’s not just London that’s expensive. Cities close to London are also expensive
Not all jobs are paid hourly. There are salaried jobs. My job is salaried. I don’t have an hourly rate. I have yearly salary and get the same amount every month.
,Nigerians pay tax o,just dat we only talk about our take home ,we dont bother talking about our full salary without d tax😂i dont know why u guys put ur minds in ur salary including tax, just minus ur tax bfr u tell someome how much, dats what d nigerian system does,ur main salary is what they will tell u but u cam find out ur tax from ur account department
It pleases me to hear someone from another continent explain how expensive it is here. For all you earn, They take much of it back. Fresh air is still free, But only just.
Please look for ' Adventures and Naps ' - a canadian girl who has been through a lot of um, 'experience' like you! :) please also note that the UK is VERY variable in different parts of the country! stay away from huge towns, the smaller ones have much nicer people...
Thank you for watching 😊feel free to drop a comment while you’re here.
In Zambia, we pay rent monthly, maximum three months. If you pay yearly its often your own choice. Thank you for the update over your UK stay.
Wow didn’t know that

@@_reetahh Check Denmark out for instance, and they don't even have defence spending like UK
Alright will do.
But tax is for services. If you want a system to work you have to pay for it. If you don’t pay tax you don’t have good services. It’s that simple.
True
