- My LG model LFXS24566S - 00 was leaking water whenever I used the purified water dispenser. The leak would go inside the refrigerator and down the front of it. This is how I fixed my leaking LG refrigerator.

I love your assistant and his help! My doodle would be the same kind of helper. 😊
Ha ha, thanks. He's a great dog. Bonus he was a rescue that was supposed to be deaf but his hearing got better as he got older.
Your pup is an awesome helper
Thanks, he is awesome. Can you believe he was a rescue that someone abandoned.
@@LHHomestead People bit off more than they can handle. Now he has a forever home while being a co star in videos.
Very True!@@caliveteranOIF
Beautiful Dog I must say. Thank you.
Thank you, He is one of our three rescues!
thank you
No Problem, You're welcome!
Negative…no cracks. The white hose that slips in to the bladder slips out. Has to to be pushed back in. Ive had to push ours in a couple times. Lots of work for nothing.
Hmmm, weird
What is it called that part you replace? And where can I order it? Thank you.
It is the water valve, I got mine off of Amazon. Here is the link to it. amzn.to/45AyQW1
My water leak is coming from behind the Water press-bar higher up in the door. It then runs down the front area (where you place your glass to fill it) and fills the ledge where you place your glass, then down the lower part of the door and onto the floor.
Like as though the leak is at "press-bar "hinge height" ... I have had the ice maker out from behind, back in again...I cannot see any obvious fault...this is not an old fridge. It's beyond me at this stage where the water is coming from?? Maybe your pooch knows? lol. ..
Same thing happened to ours last night. Trying to figure out the issue as well and this fridge isn’t even a year old yet
Is it still under warranty? Also consider calling the manufacturer, these new fridges have smart technology and I believe sometimes they can get error codes from them. And It is frustrating when new appliances have issues sorry.
I wonder if there is a small crack in the water line? The puppy would definitely find the source of the water leak.....He loves water!
Did you figure out what was the issue? We are having similar issue
@@dmytrobur - hello. Well, the water dripping was a defrost - BUT the "IFE" on the digital front panel was there for MONTHS no matter what we did. Turned out (after demanding a technician to the house) the guys came in with a new rear panel, where FAN is included in the casing. The fan was faulty - no fan - frost build up - no water etc.
Funny how the guys arrived and went straight to the problem. They know, they fix these all the time. Good as gold now, repair was done about 4 weeks ago now. Time of writing this is 7-8-24. Keep pushing, they will fix it for you. Cheers.
What is the name of the thing that has the water in it and cooles it down
Are you talking about the part I replaced? If so that is called a water valve.
I have an LG fridge as well and I’m getting a leaks in the back right corner on the orange line. Any idea?? Back of fridge. It drips down on the floor and makes a puddle
I wonder if there is a connection that needs to be reseated. Before the puddle started to occur had you moved the fridge? I would think that it is a bad connection or the line has a small cut in it.
Hoses look fine. I will open up the back and see maybe there’s a clogged line?
@@alejandrovillalpando5230 Maybe, it is weird that it would just start leaking there.
Not sure where it's leaking but another guy had a leak where the line runs into the fridge at the top in the back. There's a 90 fitting there, and there's a couple others back there might be the problem. Mines in the door itself, hopefully just a loose line but it's going to be fixable anyway.
@@sicsempertyrannis1849 thank you for the comment, Hopefully it is an easy fix!
mine leaks from that area as well ( more from the connector going inside ) but only when the ice maker is turned on. Do you think its the same thing ?
It possibly could be that or maybe a crack in the water line going to the ice maker.
@@LHHomestead just purchased the house. The old owner said something about disconnecting it to clean it. Would that be related ?
I am not sure but it wouldn't hurt to clean it. It could be closed and backing up. Does it look like there is ice build up or is it even making ice?@@moeobaidat4101
@@LHHomestead so it’s not making ice at all. I can send you a picture of where I see it leaking from (if you tell me where)But I can’t figure how to clean it if it’s clogged or frozen
@@moeobaidat4101 Yeah send me a picture and I'll see if I can figure it out from that. Send it to mark@martinandmalloy.com
