If I Re-upload the almost exact same edit the next morning (so more than 12h after the game) it does not get any claim. The thing is, you have to start from 0 again with your views. Yesterday evening I decided to despute the claim because I know it's fair use. But even than if the content ID claimer decides to not drop the claim, it's just not worth disputing that again. Because football = copyright material and there always is a risk. Especially when you post really up to date highlights or goals. Even if you make a very good commantary or educational short or video of the copyright material and edit it significantly (that is without any doubt 100% fair use) there is no guarantee and there never is, if you work with a niche that own copyright.
I made only 5 videos but none of them was blocked. I don't have any secrets, I am just a beginner in this niche. But try to make your clips shorter (like 3 secs), use different angles and change the order of clips. You can also put the text on banned clips or just crop it. It worked for me. Hope to help you
