Dieffenbachia flowers - what to do with them? General plant anxiety

Oh that plant is stunning! My dieffenbachia just flowered and I didn’t know what to do with the 2 corns that emerged. They do have a weird smell. Thanks.

I have an anxiety disorder and plants are the only thing that do not make my anxiety worse 😅 but I have also been caring for them and learning about them since childhood... I came here because despite everything I have learned, I have never encountered dieffenbachia flowers and wish to remove their smelliness lol

I'm do glad I saw this episode on my RUclips, I have a DeffenBachia that I inherited. Mine is about 5ft tall but it in horrible condition. I NEED to know should I throw it out, or just cut it. It's curving everywhere. If I had your email I would send you photos.

Plants are a lot like kids. Hovering like a helicopter does a disservice. Monitor, encourage, food, water, sunlight. Some are best being staked, others left to do their thing. Years ago I had two plants I could barely keep alive, and couldn’t figure out why. Now I have a jungle in my house with 24 plants!! All happy and thriving

I've had this plant in my family for several years. I've cut and propagated and repotted but I've never had flowers. What do I need to do to get flowers on my Dieffenbachia?

I had a dumb cane for 30 years that thrived and was shared with many people. It never bloomed. Can you tell me why? I have a baby now, and it will not grow. There are 5 stems less than 4 inches tall. They will begin to produce a leave, but it will wither before it opens completely. I water when dry and provide filtered light. I've had it two years. Again, what can I do?
