I'm scared because so many people will damage their skin with that product. People apply too much, use it too often, drip it near their eyes, leave it on for too long... also the product description says that you shouldn't use it if you don't have experience with acids in skincare. Edit: also you should NOT apply makeup after using it.
Please, I beg of you, stop touching your dropper of any product (skincare or makeup) to your face or hand! It’s unsanitary! The dropper is supposed to drop product into your hand with no need to touch any surface. Also, you won’t be staining your hoodies anymore if you drop the product straight to your hands. Hey Sophie, you shouldn't use the ordinary exfoliant mask like you did. First BHA and AHA are very unstable quemicals and when you put the droper in your face, it can lead to bacteria growing and can damage your product. Second BHA and AHA are super powerful exfoliants and you used to much wich can lead to make your skin really sensitive and damage it instead of helping you. I hope You can see this. Love you! Always use SPF!
you forgot to mention the most important thing, with that mask you have to use sun protection, it will increase your skins sensitivity, and even has a sunburn warning on the back of the box, wear suncream!
It’s best to use the AHA BHA before bed, moisturise after washing off the chemical exfoliant (CeraVe is good, as it’s non fragranced) and then let you face repair overnight. Not a good idea to apply make up straight after, as this can further aggravate your skin, it needs time to heal. SPF (50 is ideal) daily is essential, using chemical exfoliants makes your skin more prone to sun damage. Please be safe. Love your channel Soph xx

I LOVE the chemical exfoliator! It's my favourite product EVER. I don't use it very often, maybe twice a month at most if I remember having it. But yes, I agree with a lot of people in the comments, PLEASE DO NOT LOAD IT ON!! A super thin layer is more than enough. Also, if you've never used super strong detoxing masks or chemical exfoliators before, your skin WILL breakout like CRAZY. Mine did for like a good week and then after that, haven't had a serious break out since. I've had a few like mini spots come up or clogged skin but das me being lazy and not taking care of my skin. Really recommend it for people who suffer from a lot of breakouts (surface types).
The Ordinary's peeling solution is a miracle product. My skin looks absolutely amazing after I use it.. smooth and glowy. I have been using it for two years, and when starting out I only left it on for few minutes, building up to 10 minutes. I used it once a week at first, but now I only need it every two weeks or so. I only use a moisturizer for sensitive skin after using it!

A hack to get foundation stains out of clothes is use fairy washing up liquid and a wee bit of water where the stain is and put it on the stain and use an old toothbrush or something to lift the stain, then wash it as normal! Should get the stain out! (you can thank me later)

Hey Soph! The Ordinary product you used is an amazing exfoliant (in my opinion). Keep in mind that you see the best results when you use it continuously (not more than once per week!). Also, make sure you don't make contact with your skin and the applicator of the product in order not to spread bacteria. A good alternative is the ordinary 5% lactic acid. I have combo skin and it's the ONLY product that got rid of the dry flakes on my nose. It's very very gentle. Always do a patch test first, and then mix it with other products like lotion two days a week and then work up to more. However I started right away using it every day and I never had an issue and my skin is very sensitive
My Jeffree Star mist was also broken and spraying weird which really made me dislike the product. Maybe I’ll go try to fix mine now as well and give it another try
I get the original and that ones always great. May be worth a try rather than the JS version. Also, it's a couple of pounds cheaper for the sake of a pink bottle, JS name and the fragrance which you don't want much of in skincare anyway 🙂

For everyone, do not drip the exfoliant directly on your face! First of all the dropper touching your face and then putting it back in the bottle is not hygienic and can influence the product (this applies for every product, also jars use a spatula for jars). Second of all the exfoliant can drip into your eyes, you do not want that 😅. It's an amazing product but handle with care
I can't remember whether or not I directly applied it to my face when I've used it, because I use a brush to smooth it out so that my fingers don't touch my face when I put it on. It does that on my whole face! I bought a darker cooler shade to try and do cream contour with but you can’t blend it with a brush because it breaks apart over skin texture 🥴

The ordinary skin care is amazing I use the daily set which includes hyloric acid moisturiser and a cleanser. It’s amazing it’s drys your spots, gets rid of scarring and blemishes. Definitely recommend.

You can actually use it if your skin is already used to acid but make sure your skincare routine is solid so that high % of acid won't destroy your skin barrier :)
@@hans-xg7vy I can't actually use it, because I have extremely sensitive skin. Chemical peels will literally peel my skin off and cause irreversible damage. I use exfoliants; that's the best thing for me
yes yes im better to avoid any chemical exfoliation if you hve a very sensitive skin. maybe you can try Foreo! pricey but it helps with sensitive skin :D
@@hans-xg7vy Thanks for the suggestion, but it's wayyyy too pricey. I already have an exfoliator like that. Plus, my exfoliants are very good for my skin. I can't use anything that vibrates; it will tear my skin. My skin isn't the normal "sensitive type." I have a condition

Does anyone else feel like the revolution stick foundation breaks apart around their nose super quickly?
Megan Webb yes! I used to absolutely love this foundation stick and then all of a sudden it just started looking terrible on my skin 😩
It does that on my whole face! I bought a darker cooler shade to try and do cream contour with but you can’t blend it with a brush because it breaks apart over skin texture 🥴
I bought it first thing when it was launched. But that thing just breaks apart everywhere on my face no matter what primer I used.

The ordinary skin care is amazing I use the daily set which includes hyloric acid moisturiser and a cleanser. It’s amazing it’s drys your spots, gets rid of scarring and blemishes. Definitely recommend.

Entertaining video as always Soph! Thanks for keeping them coming. I don't think the highlighter shade is quite right for you - you have beautiful warm and bright colouring (like Hayden Panattiere), so golden or bright cream colours will look best on you! I bet you look lovely in yellow
