I appreciate your honesty and truly critical point of view in these videos. Many car reviewers/journalists are way too positive, playing it safe because they're using a car loaned from the company. Also, I just realized that you do most or all of your videos in both English AND Polish. The effort you put in is admirable.
That's the blessing and a curse of being an independent journalist. I live off AdSense (mainly), so I don't have to worry about advertising revenues from car manufacturers. That said I make money mainly on English versions of my reviews, but must do Polish versions to get the cars (because I'm based in Poland). It does have some limitations as far as spontaneity is concerned, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Thanks for your kind words.
You are a better reviewer than most. Moreover, your english is really good. :) funny that here in the Philippines, Hyundai and Kia have more expensive cars than Toyota, Mitsubishi and Nissan.
Hi Marek. I think some comparison videos might help the viewers when choosing a car (crossover or not :)). Something like Kia Sportage vs Renault Kadjar vs Seat Ateca. Similar specs, similar prices
Hi Marek. I am interested in buying one. But I am not sure which engine to go for. 1.6t Gdi or the 1.6 gdi. I do about 20.000 km a month which one would be more efficient.
Not sure about Kia, my new 2017 Sportage EX air conditioning quit 9 days after purchase and still has not been fixed 2 weeks later. Good looking SUV and a better value (at least in my opinion) compared to Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Subaru but not reliable in my experience so far. Btw, dealership is trying to help but Kia USA does not give a dam!
only with dct is a gearbox with dry clutches. I wonder how it will last ... in group v in dq200 cases also dry clutches have bad opinions. it breaks fast
Hyundai looks better. Also in my country Tucson is actually around 2 grands cheaper than Sportage. Can't believe its the other way around in Poland. Also, Sportage has whar I call fragmented interior - like its been put together from 10+ different parts put together, while Tucson's interior has a distinctive motif, even though it might be of a bit lesser quality.
Zadrigo Strange, indeed. Any particular reason for this? Is Hyundai perceived as a brand inferior to KIA? Or the (theoretically) more conservative Hyundai buyer doesn't like to spend a lot of money?
+Marek Drives honestly I don't know. Kia kinda positions itself as an upmarket brand. The sales are nothing to write home about, though, and the reliability is not particularly good, according to owners.
Good looking car. I would prefer this one instead of Tucson. But still something is missing. Maybe it is a cheap and simple looking plastic buttons on the dashboard, or glossy black inserts here and there. Anyway I will visit local KIA dealer and try it myself, though I will be rather disappointed little bastard spoiled by Touareg =)
Hey, you didn't show acceleration! You were laughing at touchy journalists, but didn't accelerate, no said a word about suspension, neither went off road! You are the one to laugh at too...
I just can't listen to this guy. The way he talks is making me feel uncomfortable. They are many car reviewers on RUclips and besides the Indians that are trying to talk in English this guy is worst.

Great review and also your humour makes me laugh. Keep up the good work marek
Thanks. By the way, did you check out the B-Max?
I did but boot space to small so will keep looking until i find something that will suit me
Great car! Very solid and all the Bells and whistles👌
Great review man

Whenever I have two similar cars together I try to put them side-by-side, but that doesn't happen often. I'm alone here, so logistics are an issue.
I would help you but I'm not in Poland, haha :)
FullMetal Gun I don't take help. I like to pay, and demand things in return. Don't have the budget though :)

great video. brilliant humor
Is 1.6 tdgi reliable
Any issues aware of
Looking at a GT LINE 1.6t - mainly because I’ve got issues with DIE-sels!
Great review 👍
I got the same car its great a bit heavy on fuel but it is 4wd and automatic and 174bhp.😁

Is the transmission smooth or jerky in stop and go traffic ?
I don't recall any issues.
Was the 7-DCT gearbox OK?
No complaints from me. It does its job. I don't notice it.
Cool, thanks for the reply.

Where are you from?

Zadrigo Interesting. In Poland KIA and Hyundai are among top 10 best selling brands (8 and 9 position respectively). Combined they would be #4.
Inexplicable popularity? How daring...
I think he was implying that Sportage is not handsome.
Just turn the radio down

You can get a lighter color on inserts, trim and seats at least in the USA. I prefer the dark gray seats and black interior.
solution is to turn volume low - instead of mute then turn off car
Yes, it's a workaround. Not a deal-breaker, but meh. I think they fixed in later models with the same infotainment.
This was a bit too fast, your reviews keep getting shorter and shorter. I like more details though
What would you like to know about this car?
This is just general impression, not something in particular for Kia Sportage.
finroddd You're also being quite vague :)
The reviews are as long, as I have something to say about a given car.
I will keep watching these, I like them anyway.

I think he sounds fine.
I like him. He sounds perfectly fine.
He has the talent of criticising the important things and he is very honest in that
He sounds ok, how's your Polish?!
