- WHY HEADLIGHT NOT WORKING. LEFT RIGHT HEADLIGHT NOT WORKING FIX
If your headlight does not work we will explain what could be the reason for that. Always check the headlight bulb when a headlight does not work but if headlight does not work even after you replaced the headlight bulb it could be a bad fuse. When a bulb burns sometimes a headlight fuse will burn so it can protect the electronics. Some cars may have 1, 2, or 4 headlight fuses. Always check the headlight fuse and make sure that you do not have more than 1 fuse. For example this car has 4 headlight fuse. One fuse for front left low beam, one fuse for front right low beam, one fuse for front left high beam, and one fuse for front right high beam.

The intermittent headlight problem is due to the black plastic plug that attaches to the bulb. The plug is damaged/melted from overheating and the two wires leading into the plug no make a good connection resulting in the intermittent headlight out problem. I solved the problem by cutting off the plug and stripping the two wires with a razor type cutter and then crimping two new 1/4" female terminals onto the wires and then plugging them onto the bulb. And the problem should be solved.

there is also a 4th reason- if it is not the bulbs/ the fuses/ or the relay.... check the actual blinker/light handle- it too can go bad & need replacing.

Can you guys please upload a video on how to change the transmission mount on Hyundai Elantra 2013. Or at least the location of it please. There is not video online showing how to replace/locate it....keep up the great work
We have a 2004 bmw and both of the right headlights went out (think I heard a pop). Neither low or high beams work on that side. Thanks for the video, gives me a direction to go.
Check Fuses/ relay If equipment then once everything is checked such as wires not touching etc have your module resetted or programmed so it functions again with a scan tool that supports bmw

I have a 2001 Saab 9-5 wagon that had this left side low beam out but bulb was fine...Replaced "Typical Culprit Orange Lamp Relay" and that still wasn't it...Saw this video...Dug a little deeper, and yes...There is a left side low beam fuse and it was blown! Thanks Auto Repair Guys!!
Fuses aren't always the problem. I have a 1996 Ford Explorer Limited edition the low beam isn't working on the driver side but the bright does. I checked all fuses and all of them are good so it must be wiring or something else besides fuses.

is the driver seat on the left or right?
i am guessing your left and right is chosen as if you were seating in the driver seat and not as he is looking from the front of the car.

It’s also interior lights and a serious drain on the battery. Just changed battery, but didn’t have a chance to register 2013 bmw 328i. Need suggestions l. Blpretty sure I’m looking for a relay. No windows lights locks. Lretymuch all interior not working

Yes but on some cases u need to remove it to see it with more Spec.
Can somebody help me out I have a 2001 crown Vic Lx I brought some blue light on top of the bulb it’s a fan so I took the good light out. And put it in the left side nonthing so I put my old bulb in the left side it work but not on the right side any suggestion

My headlight stopped working after I got my windshield tinted water must've seeped through behind the dash.. does that mean its the harness that needs replaced something else?
What u need to do is go to where the water seeped and clean off any rust build up and if it's corroded if possible clean with Alcohol but if still no function replace the Relay or ballast and clean the terminals very well.

More than likely a bad ground or relay. Take it in to a tech not a mechanic

Got into a minor fender bender. My headlights were fucked. I replaced everything I could including the low beam plug on my driver's side. So all my lights work on the passenger side. My signal and highbeam work on the drivers side but my low beam won't come on. I rewired it myself like I said, when hooked up to the battery it turns on fine. I have my wires tied together and when I flick my switch the light doesn't come on. I have replaced the fuse to it and no avail. My relays buzz when the lights on but after checking they all work fine. I'm stuck and I really can't think of anything else. After using a multimeter my old wires to the clip there's voltage. And like I said when I hooked up the new wires to the battery it comes on. I have a 2000 Acura TL. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty. The low beam on right side is not working. I’ve installed a new bulb and I also replaced the fuse for the low beam right and it still doesn’t work. Cleaned the connections, it looks ok but what am I missing?

If it works for 2 seconds and on both sides and shuts off? What could be thr problem? It's xenon D4S bulbs.
I changed the bulbs, the fuses and the sockets, my low beams still don't work, but the flashers and high beams do work fine
EDIT : the cables seem to be fine as well

@@BusDriver69 nope, i used a multimeter to check if the plug had power and nothing comes up so I think the cable is broken where I can't see, everything else works fine

Thank you for your great demonstration. It helped me troubleshoot. However, just FYI, on the Mazda 2012, there are two areas to change the headlight in a CX9: I recommend this video ruclips.net/video/Vilqxl_GKMs/видео.html if you need help to find the areas if your light still doesn't turn on. NOTE: on some 2012 CX9, the light bulb for the low headlight is different. It is a " D2S" HID XENON. Therefore, for the people who need to buy that type of bulb, get ready, the price for that light bulb is $100.00.

Hi my one side full headlight does not work what can be the cause?
you forgot also to check switch that is located by the steering wheel.
Can anyone help? With one of my headlights its the front right one. The problem is every time i want to turn my headlight on the left one turns on but i need to turn of and on the switch for the right one to turn on it takes like 5-10 times for me to keep switching it on and off until it turns on. And when i drive it sometimes shuts off and i need fo switch them off and on for the right one to work again. And before the right one turns on it always flickers first for a half a second and than turns on. I had this with old headlights but not as much it was rare i replaced both front ones completly and it started hapening more and more and now its getting really bad

i just bought a salvage title subaru, got into a minor front end collision, no damage to the frame etc, etc. i was having trouble with my low beam on the drivers side (where the impact was) and tried to replace the bulb. nothing. i was wondering if there is something that to people who are more car inclined than me that could be causing this problem. i'm also having trouble with the washers spraying. you can hear it trying to pump but no fluid coming out even after refilling it. if anyone has any ideas pls lmk!!
also my car is a 2019 subaru impreza if anyone is wondering. idk if that's helpful but hey i'm literally begging for help bc my dealer is taking forever to help me
@@lillynxy It can be either a programing issue, switch problem, relay or worst case electrical/wiring. Good luck.
@@Adeus1 I have a bad feeling there's wiring issues with the car because the low beam issue has reoccurred after already being fixed from this first issue. My dealer brought the car back to me after this had happened and it was fine, but the problem is persisting again and it's becoming really obnoxious when I don't realize I have the issue until I'm on the highway and can't see shit at night.

@@lillynxy did you check your filter? I had that problem a while ago when I was once a young man. I was quoted $300 after walking into a local mechanic shop. I got a second and third opinion. I went to a AC specialist and after explaining the problem, he literally ignores me and goes straight to my cabin air filter and says, "here's the problem." Sure enough. Saved hundreds and only refilled my ac and changed filter, voila. Long story, longer... seek at least 3 opinions and try an ac specialized shop first. Good luck 👍🏽
mine is not the fuse. There is no current coming into my headlight. what do I check if that happens? It pops the fuse when I replace it with a new one. I changed the bulb it doesnt work, pops the fuse as soon as I place a new one. The mechanic told me I have to remove my fender to check my wiring :'( is this true?
Yes u would need to replace the wiring. I'm going tomorrow for the same reason
