This was very helpful! Thank you!! I just rescued my first FLF from the grocery store, it was in rough shape. First step: Water the soil and clean the leaves! She's definitely root bound but I'm going to try to acclimate her to her new home first. Also just figuring it out through research and trail-and-error lol. Thanks again for the tips and knowledge!

Hello there ✨ thank you so much! 💚 I usually make my own mix, but when I’m out I use a brand that I find at Pike nursery it’s also on Amazon. I have it linked in the description box. Hope this helps.

You really do have it down! All you fiddle leaf videos are so helpful for a new fiddle leaf mom like myself. I just inherited a 7ft fiddle leaf from my grandma and I think it needs alot of help. I'm gonna follow the advice from your other videos and hopefully get her feeling good again! I also would love to know how you make your soil because it looks super nice 🌱

Also when you keeping an eye on her roots do you just pull the whole plant out of the pot from the bottom?

@@juliajacob9978 Yes, unfortunately that is really the only way to view the root ball. As Gentle as possible you will have to pull the plant up to see the status of the roots. Once you do it you should have an idea of whats taking place with the plant. If it's ok in the current pot or if it's root bound and has out grown the pot. You can't really measure the roots by the height of the plant. I know sometimes people see a 7ft plant and think oh it needs a bigger pot and that is not always the case. I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to ask any more questions that you may help. I would love to help if I can!
