    Excellent video, clear and straight to the point...I do question the longer battery cycle claims from some of these portable power station makers, like, maybe Jackery are making honest claims.

      Thanks for watching. Yeah, you may be right. I also wondered that. I am only about 50 charges on both so it's going to take me some time to figure that out. Lol

    The Jackery starts solar charging from the first incoming watt, the Bluetti doesn't. In bad weather conditions, a cloudy/covered day, early in the morning or late in the afternoon the Jackery charges, the Bluetti not. I had (it was after some days dead, I returned it) a EB3A, good thing, the bad point is, it needs about 10 up to 15 watts to start solar charging.

      Good to know! I haven't used the solar feature on either. I live in Seattle so not much sun

      @@JMGENTERPRISES Especially when there is little sun, the Jackery also works with solar.

      @@elyenoit only has 500 life cycles compared to 2500... that stat alone puts the bluetti ahead

    • @elyeno
      @elyeno Год назад

      @mrs_mk7 after 500 cycles this ding is not dead, you have 80% capacity. Ans if you be careful (din‘t drain below 20%), you can get 1000 or mote cycles to 80%.
      What do I get from 2500 cycles it this thing is after 5 cycles dead. The battery may be last 2500 cycles, the electronic does not.

    a big advantage of the bluetti is you can set things or other devices onto of it. The Jackerys design makes that impossible.

    My opinion is that Jackery is better for two reasons:
    1. I, as living in Bulgaria / East Europe, Jackery has a full support for both delivery and support if your unit somehow breaks or start malfunctioning. Jackery is one of the three manufacturers making power stations I found to actually fully support my country Bulgaria and the other two Balkan countries within European Union as well - Greece and Romania, the other two companies being EcoFlow and Anker, however people are complaining about Anker's delivery, as some of they has a major issue with not receiving their power station or other their products they had purchased on Anker's European website. Luckily, my country Bulgaria has an official distributor selling pretty much all of Anker's products - their power banks, power stations, solar panels and their accessories, so we don't need to buy their products from their site where delivery may go wrong, although their support related to a faulty units of their products is pretty good. For comparison, while we have a store in Bulgaria that sells majority of the Bluetti's solar products, there's basically mostly no support for customers on Balkans and East Europe from that company's side, so if you're, live in Bulgaria like me, or you're somewhere in Romania, Serbia, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Croatia or Montenegro, and you're got or have a Bluetti Power station that went wrong and it needs a replacing or fixing due to not working properly or suffer a manufacturing defect, you may not be able to so, as there's probably mostly no support for that region.
    2. The other weakness thing about Bluetti's power stations compared to Jackery is that, beside of Bluetti's delivery (they states 100% supported delivery only to Italy, Spain, Germany and France on their FAQ section) and support still not being available of the majority of European Union countries... Some people that own a Bluetti's power station are reporting / complaining that on the models EB55 and AC200P especially, under heavier load using the AC inverter output, these two models are prone to make pretty big noise. As I am concerned, EcoFlow has an identical issue with very noisy cooling people complaining when they're using the AC output under large and heavy loads when using their larger Delta series power stations, especially the two biggest ones - EcoFlow Delta Pro and EcoFlow Delta Max. As the moment, I haven't heard for such issues with any of the Jackery's power stations, as well with the Bluetti's rest models - EB70, AC180, and their smallest power station model - EB3A, as well. EcoFlow's River 2 series' power stations (the more smaller and compact ones) also has no reports about being noisy even when used under larger load, same applies for all of Anker's power stations of well, for now.
    The only weakness of Jackery is already mentioned by author - the shorter number of battery cycles for most of their power stations. The two smallest and lightweights' power stations - Explorer 240 and 500, both have a lithium-ion battery that only has a 500 cycles before battery drop to 80% capacity. Explorer 1000 Pro is being a middle-weight and has double cycles of it's also lithium-ion batter based and has an 1000 cycles, but that's stills a lot less recharges than EcoFlow's and Anker's power stations at same size and power. Explorer 1500 and 2000 Pro has same specific about battery as 1000 Pro but both models are heavier so they can't be moved around that easy as previous smaller Jackery's models. Only, and only the two largest power stations models - 3000 Pro has a 2000+ battery cycles, and Explorer 2000 Plus being the other power station. Explorer 2000 Plus is also being the only Jackery's power station to feature a LiFeFO4 battery and is stated to pass a 4000 battery cycles to retain 70% of original battery capacity, however, both of them has an insane big weight, so seems both of them are better to be positioned to one place to power a specific appliances as a stationary emergency, as moving them around is gonna to be very difficult.

      @@JMGENTERPRISES You're also said one strength for Bluetti compared to Jackery - Bluetti's power stations has also a lamp light, as you're shown on your comparison video. Actually Anker is being the only other manufacturer besides Bluetti that also has featuring an integrated light on all their power stations, no matter of their size - both the larger Anker PowerHouse 767 and 757, and Anker 555 PowerHouse, and both small ones - Anker 535 and 521 PowerHouse as well has that feature.
